We had a great time. Staff was superb. Food was well prepared and met expectations. We particularly enjoyed the crab cake. Our personal favorites (scallops and steak) were exceptional. The prices are high, but we knew that when we made the reservation and it was worth it!
The food was great as always. My only complaint was the person next to us was a complete jerk. If I had caught on faster I would have asked to be reseated, but hey… free entertainment.
She complained about the sprite being flat and the the salad being chopped wrong and the steak wasn’t cooked right. Of course everything was perfect and prepared the way they always do it. It was a real downer and I felt bad for the nice waitress. When the customer said her sprite was flat the waitress said “that’s strange, it comes out of a can. I’ll look into it.” I almost died trying to hold back laughter. They need to give that waitress an award for her grace and patience. She must be a saint. They must have cooked that steak 4 times for that lady but the waitress wasn’t flustered for a second even though it was obvious what was happening.
My wife and I went there for our Anniversary. We got the Double Eagle Sampler meal to split for $200. We got 2 appetizers 4 entrees, 2 family sides and 2 desserts. I really liked both the appetizers (meat ball and bacon pouvre). The bacon was much larger than expected and my favorite of the two. We both got the Strip and the Filet, and while there were both good, I do not think there were worth the price, on top of that, one of the steaks was cooked all the way through when we ordered all of them medium (pink middle). Not sure how that one slipped past since it was served to us already sliced up. For sides we got the creamed corn and mashed potatoes, which both were very avg. for dessert we got the Cheesecake and Butter cake. The butter cake was very good and the cheesecake was one of my LEAST favorites I've ever had. We did have left over and ate them the next day, but I do not think I would go back cause I don't think it was worth the money.
Seating was quick, drinks and food were very timely, Andrea was anticipatory and sweet and the dining room was softly lit and comfortable. The Blood Orange Manhattan made me happy and the crab cakes were simply beautiful. Our table was very happy with the chicken, filets, and various other cuts. Despite this a bowl of the lobster mac and cheese alone would have been just fine.
This special occasion prompted me to ask for a full Doberge cake for my special N’Orleans ladies and Del Frisco’s delivered in spades.
Consistent High quality service and Food. Definitely a place for special occasions and will not be disappointed. Great wine list . Will never be disappointed
Good was great, service was awesome, loved the calamari and meatballs appetizers!!
Awesome service and food.
We were mistakenly seated in the wine room with a large party much to our embarrassment, despite our having reserved a table for two. We finally got crammed into a corner after waiting on the patio well past our reservation time and watched as people were seated who were decidedly not meeting the posted dress code standards. It would appear that since the restaurant chain was sold in 2019, they lowered the bar to having all of the ambience of your nearest McDonalds. The strip steak was done as well as you would expect for a $70 dollar steak but the medallions were over cooked; by this time we just wanted to finish and leave so there was no will to send it back. The server, Aarron, provided excellent service despite the facility being packed. After spending >$300 we decided we'll try Ruths Chris for our next anniversary for a better experience.
Poor service, had us walk upstairs with 2 - 90 year people, no elevator. Steak was a bad piece of meat.
30th Anniversary dinner and the entire team made it so special! Food was AMAZING! Service was perfect! Thank you Del Friscos!!!
Love coming into town for special dining here. It’s pricey, but worth it. We prefer their steaks. Make sure to try the rolls and appetizer meatballs-outstanding! Service was top notch as well. Our water glass was never less than 3/4 full. Upstairs dining was where we were. I think it was a little quieter. I preferred it.
Food was good but my expectations at a place like this is to be wowed by the food. Didn’t happen. Everything was ok, just not spectacular like it’s been at other times same restaurant. The change of bread was disappointing. Used to be my favorite bread any restaurant. Now it’s ok but about like anywhere else.
Brandon was very attentive and an excellent server. We all enjoyed our meals and came away stuffed. Brandon did recommend to butter cake which WAS to DIE FOR!!!! All in all a great time!
A group of friends held a leaving event for a friend who is leaving town. The Del Friscos team were great and helped with the reservation and organized a private room for us as our party was too large for the main dinning area.
Our servers were awesome and kept everything going well all evening, and provided recommends when requested.
Our food was good and steaks cooked to perfection and the people
In the group that ordered fish said their dinners were great.
Our appetizers and salads were also good.
Only item that a few of us commented on, Steaks were nothot when they arrived at the table, leaving us to think they maybe sat in the kitchen a little longer due to our group size (12 people) and one of the group felt his Steak was on the dry side, again making us think it sat out under heat after being cooked.
Would still recommend the restaurant as the staff were great.
Kitchen service and communication was awful. Unfortunately it killed our
Amazing Service and food. Expensive, but well worth it for special occasions. Try the Wagyu!
There was a long delay before the sides came out. I was half way through my steak.
Great accommodations for a surprise marriage proposal! The staff were all cooperative in keeping things secret, giving us privacy with the family while still being attentive, and the food was fantastic!
Our server Alonso as well as all the staff we interacted with were exceptional. The food from the raw bar to the dessert was perfect. Great wine list as well and a gorgeous space on top of all that made for a fun night out with friends. Next time I’m in Fort Worth I will be back.
Anniversary dinner. 12 oz filets were excellent, as always. One of the best you can buy at top-end steakhouses. $51 seafood "tower" was underwhelming. We had the same thing a couple of years ago and it was much more impressive. $51 for 2 shrimp, 2 oysters, 1 half of a tiny lobster tail, part of 1 Alaskan king grab (with no claw), and some lump crab on a small plate of ice.
That said, we really enjoyed the balcony table on the patio. Great atmosphere.
Service was decent - wouldn't say there was much connection with the waiter like I'm used to when spending several hundred dollars.
Our server, Brandon, was amazing!! He was so nice and he was super quick and efficient! He also had a fun attitude and seemed happy to be there!
We used to frequent this restaurant a lot in years past, when it was privately owned. There was always Plenty of helpful staff. They would always write a card and mail it to you after your visit. The fresh sourdough bread was the best around. — This is not the restaurant we remembered; it is now a public owned company and they have cut support staff for their food servers as well as removing their famous bread loaves with cheap bread. Our waiter was also our bust boy and food runner. This restaurant just doesn’t have the same feel as it used to and the food quality was also lacking.
Everything was great the customer service was amazing, the food was amazing, I will be going back soon.
Our food was cold when it arrived at our table. Our sides arrived cold 10 minutes after we got our main course. I asked for tomatoes that I never received. Our calamari appetizer was cold when received and we did not finish because we had to kill two flies over it. Our main course was good and hot and fresh.
Absolutely love a night at Del’s in downtown Ft. Worth!! They are the best at everything!
Birthday dinner for my fiancé.
Perfect food perfect service perfect everything. Everything was deli
We celebrated a birthday and they couldn’t have been nicer from arrival to departure. Service and food were excellent. It is definitely noisy.
Expectations are high for this renowned steakhouse asking top dollar for their fare. It was quite average. The ambiance is the best part of the experience with the iconic old steakhouse charm. The food (steaks were solid) and service (fine but not terribly friendly) were very average, not bad, but not the level you would expect when dropping $300-$400 bones for dinner and drinks for 3 people. I have to say the mixed drinks were not well done. Less than average take on the old fashion (Hudson Bay Bourbon), too much lemon overpowering the high dollar bourbon. There are better steakhouses in Fort Worth we will choose. But was glad to check this one off my bucket list.
Amazing service with amazing food. My wife’s birthday was a huge success because of you guys. We really appreciate the birthday card.
Amber was the best!
Our waiter was excellent as was our dinner, drinks, and ambiance.
Great service, delicious food and special location
Great food, great service. Expensive, but so worth it. Definitely worth it for any special occasion.
A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion. The servers and staff were exceptional. The food was wonderful.
Excellent everything! Best Steak we have had anywhere! Everything was Top Notch and we had a GREAT evening!
Very good food. The service was great and the staff was outstanding!
The seafood tower was what we got for dinner and shared it, it was not the best. Even the shrimp was gritty and fishy tasting.
Classic steakhouse. I would like to see a Porterhouse on the menu, but overall great selection. Our waiter Lon was exceptional, professional wait staff. Only downside is pricing. Steaks are slightly overpriced, and $12/scallop seems a bit much. Wine is slightly higher than most Dallas steakhouses.
