Service is always amazing here. The steaks were wonderful, side dishes delicious, and the staff members make wonderful pairing suggestions for wine and cocktails.
We just finished a delicious dinner at the Charlotte location. As usual the meal was delicious. This is our second year celebrating Thanksgiving in your restaurant with our kids, ages 14 and 17, and my company visits each year for a Christmas dinner party. While the meal was excellent (truly), the service was subpar and so disappointing compared to previous visits. We were seated upstairs next to the bar area and I believe the bartender, Robert, was assigned to our table. Other than taking our order, one check-in and finalizing the check we were never checked on by our waiter. My daughter’s soft drink was empty before the appetizer was finished and she was never asked about a refill. Other than a server asking us to cut into our steaks upon delivery to our table, no one else asked us about our meal. Perhaps the restaurant was short-staffed due to the holiday but I was disappointed in the lack of great service to which I’ve become accustomed when dining in your restaurant. I have told my kids over and over how excellent the service and food are and was very surprised. Again, no complaints about the food as our steaks and sides were prepared exactly as ordered. Sadly I will think twice before I make the next reservation and hope this was an isolated experience.
We ate there for thanksgiving. The tables were a little closed together than we thought they should have been. People talking at other tables were loud for some reason which was strange given COVID risk.
Had the ribeye for the first time. It was outstanding. Can't go wrong with either ribeye or the filet here. Service impeccable.
Impressed with how the evening started. I made reservations for my wifes birthday. Sh was greeted with a card set up at the table which was impressive. The waiter was outstanding making tasty recommendations. We had the Bacon appetizer which has me wanting to come order that daily. It was delicious
I was thinking that this place is expensive, and probably going to be overated. However when the food arrived its presentation was beautiful, and I had the ribeye which I have never in my life had a better tasting steak. The Peppercorn blend of yumminess on the steak really strongholded my taste buds. For desert we ordered the cheesecake for the kids ( outstanding ) and the Bannan-Puddin for the wife as it was complimentary ( that was a nice twist ) tasted warm, breaded sweet cream of heaven... and finally I ordered the drink dessert ( which I was NOT impressed with ) However all and all it was a very enjoyable evening and we look forward to revisiting again!

The servers and staff were all wonderful and incredibly polite. I loved the food, but it was way overpriced. For example, I feel like charging about $40 for an 8oz steak is just unnecessary. I understand that this restaurant is supposed to be nice and expensive, but I paid roughly $230 for a dinner for two, and I feel like our meal should have been maybe half that price. The servers who brought our entrees and sides were overly involved. They surrounded the table and scooped servings of each side item onto our plates, which felt like too much. I appreciated the gesture, and I’m sure that they were just behaving according to their training, so I do not fault them, but it was a little uncomfortable. I would much rather just scoop my own mashed potatoes onto my plate whenever I feel like it.

Well they have changed a lot since coronavirus . They didn’t wait for me to cut my steak . I wanted some a 1 but I let really ate my whole steak before I saw the waiter . It wasn’t my waiters fault but the waiter who ran the food didn’t give 2 freaks . I still enjoyed the food and my waiter was great .
Two members of our party had steaks and both indicated that it was one of the best they had ever had. I chose the Chilean Sea Bass (which I often do) and that was an excellent dish. Our server had a wonderful personality and was attentive.

The perfect restaurant for that special dinner. It's certainly not inexpensive but the entire experience is worth the price. My wife had three types of seafood and I enjoyed a wonderful steak. Both were perfect.

Our Del Frisco dining experience is always phenomenal! They always go over and above to provide exceptional service. In particular our waiter Kevin. This guy, I have no words to express how he makes us feel at home, even in the midst of some of the busiest evenings. He makes us feel as though we are his only table every time. It is always a pleasure to be served by him, it’s like he is one of the family.
My last visit was a very special one, as I proposed to my girlfriend after a fantastic dinner. Kevin and the rest of the Del Frisco staff as always made it a very pleasant evening. Thank you, Kevin and the Del Frisco team! You guys are rock stars!

Food and service were great. The rib eye was tender, flavorful, and succulent. The stone crab was delicious. The crab cake was one of the best that I have ever had. The butter cake was exemplary. Nothing negative to say. Service was very timely and made the evening even better.
We love going to Del Frisco's because it is consistently great food and wonderful service. We did think that maybe the prices have gone up a bit.....although I cannot say for sure since I never committed the menu to memory ;-). Our server was outstanding -- very friendly and interesting. The food was perfect - the 12 oz. filet is great for sharing and we had it rare/warm center, perfectly done! Au Gratin potatoes were yummy and the tomato and Burrata salad was delicious!

The food and service was very good. We sat at a table in the bar area and were disappointed to learn that they were no longer offering any bar small plates (similar to their Grille concept), and apparently they are off the menu permanently. In addition, they have a new/updated wine list. They raised the prices quite a bit. It wasn’t what we were expecting during a pandemic.
Best steak in Charlotte; flawless handling of reservation; good table by glasses in wine cellar; excellent service; moderate wait for food and most importantly, good cuisine. We had a birthday dinner and staff made our birthday dinner special.
First off we dine at Del Friscos fairly often (8-10 times a year for the last 5-6 years) and it’s been our absolute favorite restaurant but it just hasn’t been near the same. Our last couple times (September and October) have not lived up to their stellar reputation. Last weekend the steaks came out medium temperature, first side came out 5 minutes later and we had to remind them about the second side which came 10 minutes after that. I know COVID-19 is affecting them but prices certainly haven’t changed and have even crept up. Sad to say we may take a break from Del Friscos and hope they can some day get back to their former high standard.
We had an early dinner reservation at 5:00 and were practically the only patrons in our area. It took almost an hour to get our entrees. We have been here numerous times, and this was our first just “okay” experience. Not great. We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and wished we could leave a better review, but having to wait too long between our soup and salads does not warrant a five star rating.

Long time customers of Delfriscos on Piedmont Row. Best ribeye I have had there in a very long time and all food was much improved. Service was fabulous on the outdoor deck and Bradley was a wonderful Somm. Great improvement!

After making reservations in advance and letting them know we were celebrating our Son's 20th birthday, we were looking forward to a great evening. Upon arrival, the manager questioned our daughter's well trained and well marked golden retriever mobility service dog, equipped in a large leather harness, with his certification card displayed (he usually sits quiet under any table). The manager then proceeded to find us a table next to the bar, in a corner, at the entrance to the kitchen. Fine, we preferred the ambiance of upstairs, but willing to try this spot. The service was horrible. Despite throngs of servers passing us constantly, the empty glasses, no drinks, uncleared plates and delays in getting our food were ignored by everyone, including managers and our server. There are so many elegant dining experiences to choose from in Charlotte, I would recommend any other option. The manager never returned to check on us, our server left for the night before dessert very disappointing experience from a place we used to frequent. Our dining experience took over 2 1/2 hrs, most of which we sat waiting with empty glasses & plates.
