Awesome food and service amazing dining outdoors by the water!
Excellent food. Sat by the cause way. Pretty at night. Good special shrimp tacos , included an adult beverage. Have recommended to two people already
Great server, view and food.
Yes, we come a few times while we are here which is three months.Always very busy not always easy to get a table .Even with reservation usually never able to sit out side for some reason.Love the place food is terrific always very good.Waitress this visit was really great.Thank you, Deck 84 is a wonderful restaurant.
The chicken and dumpling soup had an exceptional flavor lots of chicken would highly recommend. The dumpling was not great too doughy and no real flavor (mom made the best dumplings light and delicious). Salad with roasted vegetables and shrimp very delicious, would have liked more roasted vegetables on the salad.
Loved it. Best dinner I’ve had in Delray. Mahi was excellent.
Only negative was that someone read my name on the reservation list and claimed to be me, so when we arrived they said our party had already been seated. Host immediately found us a waterfront table. We were told that was the second time that happened that day. A better checks and balance system needs to be in place.
Little noisy but good food and good views of intracoastal
Live it at deck 84
Sitting outside by the water was very nice. The daily fish special, while pricey was very good.
Possibly the worst meal I’ve ever had.
Everything was 1st class..service and food were excellent
It was Valentine’s Day and we had a great table outside for lunch.
Most enjoyable. Fine food and service
The capacino was cold and the waitress was annoyed when we complained. She claimed she just made it. The customer is ALWAYS right. The food mediocre except for the delicious flatbreads. The outdoor seating uncomfortable. The prices more than the quality of the food
Dine here every February. One of our three favorites.
We went here for lunch. So pretty sitting by the canal
Watching the boats go by while eating lunch.
Something on the menu for everyone
Food and service was great. My mother had pasta and shrimp in a sambuca sauce was excellent
We got to the restaurant early and they were able to accommodate us. Great evening! And they have valet parking which is a real plus in Delray Beach!
Beautiful atmosphere on the water. Good food and service.
Our waitress Betty was AMAZING! The entire staff is friendly . The food was great. Will definitely be going back when it isn’t raining so we can get patio seats and enjoy the view .
The food, service, value and atmosphere have been excellent the times we have eaten there. The menu has great options and the portions are reasonable for the price. Its always nice to eat outdoors on your visit to Florida. I have not been disappointed dining here.
Smoked fish dip not flavorful - too much mayo. Fish tacos also bland. Guacamole good.
No tables available outside with a view which was the reason we went there. We had a reservation. Food was more than acceptable as usual.
Overall a very good experience although my wife’s swordfish was on the dry side.
Had a lovely meal - ceviche, mussels to start and shared the paella. Mussels on the very small side. Paella flavors great, cocktails grest. Server was EXCELLENT!.
Great view. Drinks overpriced. Food good. Service so so
My wife and I have been to Deck 84 several times over the past few years when visiting the Delray Beach are. The menu changes regularly so we always have something new to try out. Whether its a nice lunch or a late dinner we always enjoy the atmosphere and watching the various boats pass by on the Intercoastal right out side. The deck is heated and cooled just enough for it to be comfortable no matter the weather. Bartenders and wait staff have always been friendly and attentive even when the place is packed. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
The place wasn’t all that busy. I tried to call for a reservation but couldn’t get a table for 4 until 8pm. We ended up going down at 7 and were seated immediately and there were other tables available. Not sure what that was about. All four of us ordered the Taco Tuesday special. Our waiter screwed up 2 of the 4 orders. Two of us did not get our sides. We told the waiter and he brought one side, we just gave up on trying to get the other one. Not the best service for sure although they were nice enough. Just not effective.
Good food, great view, very good service.
The highlight of the restaurant is sitting outside, which overlooks the water. My wife and I had lunch there. She had a blackened fish sandwich, which she said was very good. I had a fried fish sandwich, which was undercooked. When I lifted up the sandwich, the bun was soggy and water dripped on the plate, forming a small puddle. A piece of fish flopped onto the plate, and it was clearly not cooked completely. It wasn’t flakey at all. I pointed it out to the server, who had the manager come over. Without hesitation she said she would have another one made, which I really appreciated, and she took my plate away. Unfortunately, it took quite some time for the new sandwich to come out. We were running short on time, so I had them box it up. The good news is that when I ate it for dinner that evening, it was very good.
It is too bad that the lunch experience was spoiled. I typically eat more than just French fries for a meal. But, a thank you goes to the manager for taking care of things by having a new sandwich prepared and not charging for my portion of the meal.
Great food and pleasant atmosphere. Nice to sit out on the deck
We have been coming to this restaurant for years, but this was the first time in a while and we were shocked at the deterioration. The decor is shabby now, there was no live music (on a saturday night), the food was grey looking. I had chicken wings (hard) and fries (soggy) with spinach (small watery portion for $6). The view is still great but the pastry chef who used to hand make all the delicious deserts has obviously gone as the menu says that most of the desserts are brought in from Ft Lauderdale. Deck 84 needs to up its game! There is too much competition from other more vibrant and exciting places on Atlantic to tempt me to go back there again.
New Year’s Eve!
I don’t see any points earned for this visit!?
We were rushed thru meal.
New Years dinner outside
It is nice to sit by the water. However the restaurant’s decor is a bit dated and worn.
We got to the restaurant a little early and were seated at a hi top table... so that was ok...but we had to keep looking for our server and had to
Waterfront a delight, food good and reasonable, happy hour drinks, host, waitress, waiter and valet all so nice. Only complaint this time was a preponderance of newby young bus girls clueless to customers walking near them so we experienced several near misses.
I really wanted to love my dinner at Deck 84 as it was my birthday celebration. We were told we couldn't have a table until 8 pm days prior yet on arrival there were dozens of empties. No matter - they sat us just outside the outrageously noisy bar (several LOUD drunks!) with the doors blocked open. A cold breeze ran across our table so hard it swung the lights! Special steak tacos - gone. Catch of the Day at $28 a poor piece of fish and overcooked. I would have sent it back but the waitress never returned except to deliver the check. Disappointing!!!
As always, food was delicious and service was superb! A great view of the water on a nice night didn't hurt either.
