   Great casual dining. Fried chicken and biscuits are my favourite, and my sister enjoyed the Cobb salad.

   The food was good, classic diner style, but the bigger issue was they did not honor our reservation! When we arrived, the waiter told us they did not have a table reserved for us, so we had to sit at the bar. I explained I had booked through OpenTable, and he had no idea what that was. He pulled out this old black book and kept pointing to it that there was no reservation in there. Another table of 4 came in after us and had the exact same thing happen. Meanwhile, sitting at the bar, I can clearly see the tablet with the OpenTable reservations displayed on it. Not a single waiter/waitress looked at it the entire time we were there. So bad!!

   Rather disappointed. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The fried chicken batter looked like it was shake and bake. My waffles were cold and the only thing cooked well was the over medium egg. We were the only table and it was not busy since we were the first ones through the door when they opened. So, I couldn’t understand why my food was cold. I had a better experience at the Gastown location but that was 10 years ago. I would not recommend this place to anyone for breakfast.

   My husband and I went to the restaurant date night. Its a little out of our way we live in Maple Ridge. We found the service and food amazing. There was one waiter who managed to wait all of the tables in a timely fashion. The beer was cold the food hot. I have already recommended this place to a few people. We will go again next time we are in the area.

   I am sorry to say the food at this restaurant was abysmal; tomato soup arrived cool so they took it back and microwaved it. It looked like it came out of a box and they put a huge amount of pepper in it to "flavour" it. The chicken tenders were mushy and tasted like cardboard. The burger was overcooked but at least edible compared to the other menu items we had.

    We really enjoyed our dinner. I had ordered a fried chicken dinner but because I can’t have vegetables our waiter suggested fried chicken, fries and gravy, it was perfect and soooo good and yummy. My husband had the blackened salmon and he enjoyed it and would order the salmon again but maybe a little less cook time. We will definitely go back. A little funky diner.
