Got told you didn’t have a table even though we booked a table for 6
Drunken crowd knocking over tables with glasses breaking and very few people wearing masks or distancing. The noise level was dreadful. Left early as it didn't feel a safe environment. Cancelled our next booking.
Too busy, overcrowded, no social distancing. And now they’re closed as some staff have covid.
Food was fab and arrived fast, service was excellent, felt very safe, we all commented on how well organised and safe we felt, very happy and will definitely be back
Dont bother, booked 3 weeks ago for works xmas meal. After arriving on a very cold wet & windy night we was told you book to arrive at the venue, you dont actually book a table. So we was handed a peice of tissue paper and directed to some soaking wet chairs on the balcony in the rain. We left after 5minutes & had a wonderful meal at a smaller establishment next door.
Bit cold, not enough heaters and smell a bit of paraffin!! Good value food menu. Steak was beautiful and good value, chicken burger large, order chips separately. Staff were lovely
Xmas music playing would have been good. Otherwise lovely. Sat by a fire pit
Booked a table for 4 at 8 but was held up. Called to say so and reschedule and was told fine to turn up before 9. Got a phone call just before 9 saying don’t turn up as no space and should not have been told what we were initially told. Not even an apology.🤷🏻♂️ Turned around and went home. Won’t be visiting again.
I booked a table for 4 ten days in advance. When we arrived a table hadn’t been reserved for us and we were told to look around and find one. The manager, who was sat in a booth at the entrance also told us that he was shortstaffed and that it would be a very long wait for food. We looked around for a table but the only tables available had been left out in the rain and were soaking wet. After wandering around for at least five minutes and being ignored by the staff that were working, we decided to leave. There is absolutely no point booking a table because a table will not be reserved for you and it will not guarantee you will find a seat and be able to eat.
I ate at De koffee pot a couple of weeks ago and found the food to be mediocre and expensive for what it is. If you’re going to charge £8 or £9 for a burger without any fries or salad on the side it had better be good. It wasn’t. There are far better places to go in Hereford and I’ve got the general feeling that the management were taking advantage of the tier 2 restrictions where people are only allowed to meet outside. We were really disappointed and ended up having to hunt round for somewhere else to sit and eat. This place could be great but it has a long way to go to put things right.
very limited vegan meal and dessert options. quality of food was not great, i.e did not taste freshly made. service was nice. the location and setting very nice. would mainly recommend for the location and a drink.
I enjoyed setting however not being able to pay by card or cash quite annoying.!
My friends and i had a lovely evening...food and drink were very easy to order and were delivered quickly to our table.
Food was beautiful very tasty and nicely presented....we will be back.
I went for a meal with my friends outdoor we all ordered food and wasn’t able to get many drinks when there was people sat at a tbale with no food and loads of drinks. I also know people who go there and get one pizza between 6 and get unlimited drinks. Very poor service won’t be coming again😂
The second or third time that the food here has been awful, for the price it definitely isn’t worth it. The set up of the place is great, the service was good, but they have gotten too greedy hiking prices and the standard has dropped immensely. Much better competition just a stone throw away!
Great coffee cake atmosphere. Good service. Able to sit indoors
Food arrived quickly & was great.... bar service was terrible though.... the people delivering to tables were fine but the people behind the bar stood around doing nothing then picked up lots of orders at one time meaning long waits on any drinks . 45 mins for a coffee & hot chocolate... shame as put us off going again !
So cold, is it not possible to put up the sides when it's raining and blowing a gale? Surely the air flow is sufficient with one extra side put on? Or more heaters? It was freezing! Food and service was fabulous as always
Whatever you do don’t book a Sunday morning s at 10:45 as you can’t get served till 11
Waited almost 2 hours for food, which was cold and disgusting. Not worth it at all, when we tried to get hold of some waiters or staff they just shrugged and walked off. Only reason we stayed is paying £30 for some awful food.
We had booked a table for a special occasion- 21st birthday, we booked outside to have food, and drinks and requested a fire, was told they can be reserved. On arrival we was told to either take the table near the entrance or go up the stairs to see if any tables were free, now if we’ve booked a table, we expect to have a designated seat for a start, not have to go look for tables, and we ended up at the very top of the building.. we had missing food from our order and drinks coming out incorrectly. Some staff were putting parts of our order on a spare table and had to play a guessing game if it was ours and some were bringing it to our table and when asked to correct our drink wasn’t very polite. Very disappointed to have booked with you, unlikely to book again for a special occasion.
Loved the atmosphere, service was quick and efficient via an app. Friendly staff. Nice food and drinks
On arrival there were no suitable tables even tho we had booked, one table they lead us to had sick underneath, then the other had no chairs and was dark. Took them over 20 mins to sort it, got ignored by a member of staff when I asked them a question, food was ok but not amazing. Whats the point in booking a table if they are going to let to many people in and can't guarantee a table straight away and not give the best service possible. Disappointing and won't be returning any time soon! When we came home we rang to complain and who I think was the owner hung up on me!! Would not recommend going to anyone!
Organisation was awful, booked a table and there wasn’t one, the food came after a long time and was lukewarm.
Rushed to leave after we finished our food, when people weren’t even eating and just drank but could stay
Needs to be rethought before you take loads of bookings
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone to visit during covid
Met up with friends expecting to be shown to a table with a fire pit as advertised when booking online to be told as we arrived find a table and no fire Pitt’s were free . There were 3 of us and all ordered food at the same time (although separately) and I received my food long after they had finished theirs, pizza wasn’t cooked through and toppings were raw. Prices weren’t cheap either as we paid £15 for 2 250 ml mulled wines. They made a huge fuss about us asking for coffees at 9.30 because it was time to start leaving . I appreciate it’s all new but it was 2degrees and we were so cold .
Had another good evening at de koffie pot. Food was good. I always choose something different to eat and have never been disappointed. Look forward to this Friday.
Great to be back. Did notice some 'outside diners' drinking when they had clearly finished eating their meal and ordering more bottles of wine. Service a bit slower than normal for our drinks, but overall a nice experience.
Love the new firepits on the terrace and cant wait to get a table by one next time we visit.
Felt very safe in the venue
Service and quality of food was excellent.
Sanitising points and safe systems of delivering food and drinks were in operation
Great setting, great menu, great service... Perfect 👍
Was very well organised and had a lovely experience.
Be prepared for a long wait and be aware they change there rules each week probably better off sitting outside in the cold dont bother you if you sit inside they will personally would not recomend this place
Arrived on time for out table booking and yet on the balcony was not enough seating and only tables of 4!!!!Ordered food with drinks but there were many many tables not ordering food or just keeping a bowl of chips on the table not touching them and still ordering drinks. We were made twice by staff to order more food when we had already done so!!!!Think its poor how staff treats some and not others
Food was cold.
Booking appeared to make you think you had booked a table, in fact you had to find your own which there were none.
Table we had to sit at was wet, no where near a fire pit (as advertised) and also in the dark.
The staff was very rude to us, food and drinks were taking very long and we had to go and chase it up ourselves. Service wasn’t good at all, booked a table for a reason and there were no tables left. Whats the point in even booking then???
The koffee pot is an amazing establishment with fantastic food a warm and safe environment. Food and drink both come extremely quickly even when it is busy and the staff are lovely.
Not having been out for weeks this made me wonder why I'd missed it. The overpriced food and drink was slightly depressing and the person who admitted us omitted to remind us that we had to order on the App (so we wasted 10 mins), obviously our error but a friendly reminder would have helped speed us along. The Strongbow mulled cider is fine but really 7.20 for 250ml? Yikes.
Always a good atmosphere but the app is a nightmare- every time I've been, it's a problem. Please sort it out and make it easier as it puts me off hanging again.
Lovely view of river and despite being cold had a lovely bowl of soup outside and service was good
Food was nice, look a while to get food though, drinks were too expensive
Felt very safe during this pandemic time Left bank has everything in place.
Great service and food lovely to be able to catch up with friends
Great outdoors seating with atmospheric fires and lights in the winter.
