About
Italian Heritage prevails at The D.C.Pasta Co. Come enjoy a casual, true Italian experience. A collaboration between Dante Boccuzzi and Carmela del Busso. All the pastas are made in house in a traditional old world fashion. The Italian wine list features 30 wines under 30 dollars. The diner is able to choose between two different sizes on our pasta menu. This is affordable Italian dining we all have been waiting for.
Thought the food and service were both good however prices are a bit high in comparison to the amount of food you receive (I.e. two small stuffed banana peppers halves $9, as an appetizer, and four pieces of the three cheese ravioli was $15 with no salad or anything else included). Again, food was very good and it’s a very nice restaurant and the Cabernet wine selection was great.
We have lived in Strongsville for over 10 years and this was our 1st time coming to DC Pasta...where have we been? This is a hidden gem in a shopping center. The food is excellent as was the service. DC Pasta is better than many of the places downtown. Go enjoy!
The food was amazing.
We drove 45 minutes to go to DC Pasta and it is worth the drive. The food was fresh and tasty. We had three appetizers, I recommend the polenta, and shared two dinners. We took home enough for two more meals. There are two sizes of pasta to choose from, and other items if you are craving fish or meat.
Great service. Love the option of ordering a half portion. Very reasonable prices. Delicious
Food was good but picata was not up to snuff. Prior to this order we had marked Bucci's chicken picata the best. My bolognese twisted pasta was excellent as was the lamb meatball.
Salads were excellent--all four of us agreed.
Lauren our waitress was not as attentive as she could have been. Service was--we all agreed-in need of improvement.
My husband and I went to DC Pasta for the first time on our Anniversary. It was a weekday night so the restaurant was not overcrowded or noisy. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious! The salad was crisp and interesting and my eggplant parmesan tasted like eggplant; not just breading. My husband enjoyed the pasta with meat sauce. The bread was homemade and we liked that too. We were treated with a complimentary limoncello after dinner which was also made right there at the restaurant. We are so glad to have found this restaurant which is so close to our home!
As always the food was amazing. Not your traditional Italian- speciality pasta, sauces and combinations.
Service was mediocre, had to wait to be checked on and ask for bread. Pasta was good, the calamari was bad, way over cooked
Food is fresh and tasty, as always. However, the pasta special had a cheese sauce, which was good, but so very rich that I could not eat the whole meal. My wife's grilled chicken was disappointingly dry, seemingly overcooked. That was unusual for DC, where meals are pretty much spot on. Not our best experience here, but we will return. Terry is an excellent server, pleasant, efficient and always ready to make things right.
The food was absolutely embarrassing to Dante. And I love Dante’s restaurant. I don’t understand how he has anything to do with this restaurant.
To start the waiter recommended the squash blossom appetizer, it was delicious. The four of us all had pasta dishes and each one was great. In fact we all agreed that when we come back we would all have the same thing. The only disappointment was the Tiramisu , would not recommend that at all.
Contemporary Italian Cuisine. Inspired menu, not your everyday heavy Italian fare. Orederd half portion of cabonara and 2 meatballs. Pasta was just enough so took (large) meatballs home for lunch the next day! Server was very attentive and we had a lovely meal.
Hubs and I love Dante in Tremont, so when I saw DC Pasta was another Dante resturant, we were excited! We made a reservation for our anniversary. We drove right past the restaurant. It's tucked in the back of a plaza. The place was dead when we got there. I thought it was a new restaurant. Apparently it's been around for 6 years! The food was delicious. We had a zucchini appetizer, wine, their 2 most popular pasta dishes (the bolongnese and the carbonara) and cannoli for dessert. Everything was delicious, the service was great. I can't believe this place isn't more widely known. I think the location is part of the problem. Hopefully we just hit it on an odd night. Would definitely recommend!
Food was quite good, the clams & pasta dish were very good, my wife liked the 6 ravioli, and service was good as well.
However, the portions we both thought very small in fact I had the choice of a full or half portion on the clams & pasta, I ordered the full, and when brought out it looked more like a half. Had the calamari app and that too was a smaller portion. Not a place to get your fill of an Italian meal as you might need a burger on the way home ;)
This restaurant always delivers with modern Italian food and a nice wine list, presented with a smile, at a price that makes me want to return. We like to bring friends, order up a variety of large and small plates and eat family style. I always make sure to include the lamb meatballs, and order at least one of their specially featured pasta entrees.
Great place. First time there. Had a unique app...risotto stuffed zucchini with parmesan. Salad (caesar) was good as well as minestrone. Home made pasta. I had the bolognese and my wife had the carbonara. Both very good.
Everything was great there. The food was delicious and the waiter was very attentive.
Loved the special appetizer of stuffed zucchini blossoms!
Prompt, attentive service. Food is always tasty with properly cooked pasta. Nice selection of menu items and sizes of portions. Specials each day too.
Excellent service but the evening we were there business was very light but it was obvious to us our pasta noodles were not made fresh and sat out for awhile. The red sauce was pretty bland. There is no “kids menu” and the best choice we could make was just a bit too extravagant for kids taste. The wine chosen by our Server though was excellent.
Excellent as always
What a great night!!! Service was amazing and everything on the menu that we ate was phenomenal!!!!! Who doesn’t love fresh homemade pasta with great service!! The cavatelli with the sausage was delicious, as was the bucatini! Highly recommended!!!!!
We had been encouraged to be “adventurous” in our dining so we went to this place. Our waiter guided us through our choices and made us feel quite special.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. It's an unassuming little place in a strip mall but the food is authentic. And they offer small portions if you prefer and 30 bottles of wine for $30 or less. The cannoli were large (2 per serving for $7) and absolutely delicious. We will be back.
no vegetarian options really. the eggplant parm was out so i was basically forced to get an extremely bland pasta dish that was very very very plain and had no thought put into it. the red sauce that my dish came with was almost like they heated up plain canned tomatoes then blended and served it to me.
Food is always awesome at DC!
As always great food and wine. Nice to have such a restaurant in Strongsville
Wasn’t impressed at all. My husband wanted a simple chicken Parmesan but was told no. Wine wasn’t good. Service was a little weird. Won’t be back.
Love this place.
Fantastic as always! Love DC Pasta!
We took clients to dinner from San Diego and they raved about the food! We had an enjoyable dinner and the staff/ownership was friendly and engaging which made for a relaxing dinner.
The best pasta ever!!! We will definitely be back soon :)
Everytime I go, it’s a treat. All of the pasta dishes are wonderful.
The food was delicious, service was great and it has a nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Again, a super meal.for both of us with excellent service.
We always enjoy ourselves here, sorry to hear it may be sold at some point. Would’ve been five stars across the board but we didn’t get our water refilled until the very end of the meal and we were given a table in the middle of the room instead of along the side as requested (very minor points). We’ll be back, delicious as always!
Always great - We like the Creative menu with lots of good choices
I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and overall had good experiences. Unfortunately, this visit was less than desirable as there was a long black hair in my wife’s food. When I asked the manager to remove the plate he didn’t offer an apology or a new dish to replace her meal. I realize things happen but I thought this was handled poorly.
Great overall dining experience. The menu was creative and well planned out. Options o’plenty.
Service was effective and efficient. Manager was attentive and appeared genuine without being cheesy or disruptive. Our server was knowledgeable and offered his opinion in a very helpful way.
Our meals were delicious.
Would definitely return to this establishment.
