   Food was tasteless and all the meat and fish I ordered had bad smell. I recommend marinating their food before cooking them.

   Though the restaurant was not crowded, the food was delivered in the wrong order, our nibbles arriving at the same time as our main courses. The main course was very poor - cod with Thai curry was cold and flavourless (quite an achievement to make a curry so bland!) I ordered as a side, described as 'ancient grains', which turned out to be quinoa - so why not say so on the menu? Again it was cold and lacking in flavour. The restaurant advertises itself as being open until 10pm, but by 9.15 the staff began turning up the air conditioning, making it so cold we had to put our jackets on, even though we had not finished our meal, turning up the lights and starting to clean adjacent tables and swilling the floor of the kitchen area we were seated close to. Overall, the attitude was unwelcoming, and the food (by comparison with things I have purchased in the deli in the past) was very poor. I would not eat there again or recommend anyone else to do so.

   Food was very disappointing. Cheesecake was so bad we didn't even eat it!

   On the night of our visit, there were only two other occupied tables. The restaurant looks as if it was already closed even though it was only 8pm. One diner in my party ordered the Thai fish cakes. What she got was 3 little sorry grey pugs on her plate which she did not enjoy. The other diner in my party ordered the ribeye steak. It came with salad leaves which had no dressing or seasoning. Although the steak was cooked well, it was devoid of any flavour. Also pricey at £29. I ordered the miso chilli glazed chicken. I saw the staff cutting off a portion from a cold roast chicken and put it into the pizza oven to reheat! It tasted ok but not of miso or chilli. Pretty steep at £18 for what amounts to no better than rotisserie chicken from a supermarket. Not worth the trip. Won’t be going back.

   Love this place. Great for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Not really a dinner place as it lacks a bit of ambience in the evening though their cocktails are delicious

   A warm welcome as we arrived. Delicious and beautifully presented food that is standard at Daylesford restaurants. Our first trip to the beautiful new Brompton Cross branch. Loved the fabulous tree feature which enhances the design and ambiance.

   Very friendly lady employees, males too busy chatting about Staff rota. Nice concept, though a bit lacking as a good place ‘to go to’. I am not a fan of purchasing exposed displayed food, unhygienic . Seating and floors required a good clean, wash and sweep, shocking. Chairs should have rubber pads to quieten the scraping noise of chairs being dragged, mainly by staff. Ok if just wanting a snack, but that’s just my opinion.

   Lady Bamford’s inimitable style and exquisite attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the store and restaurant. Delicious seasonal food, expertly prepared and served. I thoughly recommend the pink frizzante on the menu.
