   Great restaurant. I wish it had more gluten free options for brunch. My wife and I enjoyed the New Orleans oysters and the gumbo without shrimp or meat. it was delish. I can't wait to stop by for regular dinner to see if it has as many gluten free options and vegan options as well. Really nice staff and clean/neat environment.

   Unique offerings. The shrimp app is a must. Bring your appetite for the rolls. Outstanding. Best burger I have had. Ceviche was delish and unlike any other ceviche I have had. Coconut Cake was a great finish. Wonderful staff. A++++*

   Made mother’s day a super enjoyable experience! Beautiful decor and set up. They had a group of violinists that were beautiful. It was a preset menu but the options were great. Everyone enjoyed their appetizer and main course. The desserts were okay, not many options.

    great food but slow slow service. with a $500 bill we were surprised at an upcharge for a change on one of the sides. Sign of the times? if it wasn't for the great busboy we would not have gotten out of there!

    I don’t often give 5-star ratings, but when I do it’s usually Davis Street! Great food, great service, great ambiance! Get Benjamin to serve you and you’ll have an amazing dining experience. The Thai snapper is the best fish fish anywhere!

    Davis Street at Hermann Park never disappoints! The excellent menu options, superb cuisine, award winning Chefs, and top hospitality from the entire staff is all you want in a fine dining establishment. You will not be disappointed! I travel all the way from NC to TX just to eat here!

    Somewhat disappointing. We wanted to participate in the Black Restaurant Week menu but unbeknownst to us we found the restaurant 5 minutes from closing down the kitchen when we arrived. Wondered why they took our reservation. After choosing dishes from the regular menu, the meals came out very quickly. The Cornish hen and waffles tasted like leftovers. The waffles were very soggy underneath the chicken. The shrimp and grits were better, but the requested scrambled eggs were poached. We may return but hopefully we will come back when the kitchen is fully engaged. Can't recommend to anyone at this time.

    If you're looking for a delicious gourmet dining experience, then consider this restaurant. My first dining experience was during brunch. My dining party and l were expecting the dinner menu so we will be returning. Price points worth the value. The most impressive detail l appreciated was the wait staff.     I was celebrating my Birthday Dinner at Davis St and it was better than I hoped for. The service is top notch and the food equally delicious. We start with cocktails, followed by savory gumbo, main dish blackened catfish with kimchi greens, and dessert was chocolate brownie mousse parfait paired with a wine flight.     Joseph was our server, and he was absolutely amazing and attentive! Emmanuel was a busboy, but he was so detailed and friendly, we thought he was also a server! The staff brought over champagne and desserts for our birthdays, and it was so thoughtful and lovely!

    This was only our 2nd time here but again it did not disappoint. Just outstanding, creative menu and the taste of everything ordered was fantastic. The Thai shrimp appetizer is a must have as is the coconut cake (and I don’t even like coconut cake). We shared the whole snapper and had plenty for leftovers. We don’t live in Houston but I’ll tell you, every time we are here, we will return!!

    The food was first class. We received a lot of attention from our servers and management. We were also encouraged that they had more than one Texas wine on their wine list. I was a little disappointed that they did not acknowlegdge my wife's birthday which was noted when aia made the reservation

    Great idea for the style restaurant and menu offerings. I feel like the location is good, but feel like a location in west university or bellaire area would thrive too. I’ve never been for brunch but the portions are pretty huge for dinner, I bet with a smaller portion/weekend brunch menu it might be a great excuse to add some jazz or piano to the cool vibe they have. Tasty & decadent southern dishes, but make sure you’re huuungry. Vino flight option is great, I like the bold Spanish ones they have. Great experience, hoping to return soon.

    In town staying in the medical/museum district for a medical procedure. This restaurant was the highlight of my time in Houston. I had literally just gotten off the CT scan bed, showered and joined my little sister for what we hoped to be a positive dining experience. Our expectations were far exceeded! From the time we walked in the door we were greeted by a warm smile and welcome by the hostess. She is a wonderful representation of the Texas charm and soulfulness represented in this elegant establishment. Elias was our server and his wit and charm overwhelmed us. We felt like he was our best friend and he wanted us to enjoy and savor the delectable flavors of every dish. We had a hard time deciding on our entrees because EVERYTHING sounded amazing. We settled on a tapas style experience, we made this up, the restaurant does not offer this. Tapas style is like having a tasting serving of a little of everything! We fell in love with the crispy Thai shrimp, collard greens, and the hoppin John fried rice!!!! We have no pics because we devoured everything as it was served 😂 They topped us off with gluten-free peanut butter chocolate brownie cookies and a ridiculous caramel cake for my sister. She is a Buck 115 so destroyed it,leaving no evidence behind. Wonderful Sommelier name Kevin, he is very personable and not pretentious. Enjoyed sharing my global travels to vineyards in Europe and he has inspired me to purchase the book Windows to the World. Who knows, I may try to sit for the certification one day in my refinement “retirement” years! White table cloth, fine crystal goblets etched with brand, awesome R&B soundtrack,delicious food, and great service. I’m smitten and they have a new regular when my travels bring me to Houston. Nice balance between medical treatments, procedures, and dining among friends who welcome you with love and appreciate your service. Great memorable experience. I’ll be back!!!! ❤️
