Davio's - Atlanta
Great service and food!!!
Marve really made my 21st birthday amazing! Me and my family enjoyed her company and she has a great personality. I would go back again and again and ask for her! She was awesome! Thank you Marve!
Excellent restaurant. Well- informed staff, excellent staff with knowledge of the food and ingredients. One of the best gluten free menus in Georgia.
Great location, great attention to detail from the bartender to the servers. Nice wine list.
They did not rush you from the table, and this was a Friday night.
Steak was excellent for all who ordered one in our group. Monk fish was very good as well. You can't go wrong with the calamari for an appetizer. The only disappointment were the brussel sprouts. They were pretty hard.
I have always enjoyed dining for both lunch and dinner At Davio’s but was very disappointed with my recent visit. All of our food was very salty and one of my guest sent her meal back to the kitchen. I was a bit embarrassed as I had suggested to my friends that we meet at Davio’s for lunch. Our waiter deserves an excellent rating.
HAD A BUSINESS LUNCH ON WEDNESDAY . GREAT SERVICE FABULOUS FOOD .
Overall this was a very poor experience, my pasta was very undercooked sent it back and then the new one came out undercooked. When the bill came there was no adjustment for the incorrect pasta and I had to say something to the waiter. Additionally, my wife and I split a prime ribeye which was cut vertically and put on two different plates. I eat a lot of steak houses and split a large steak with my wife often the correct way to present it is to be sliced to make for a much nicer presentation. Are used to page her in this restaurant but will not anymore because it simply has gone way downhill.
Davios has been one of our favorite restaurants. We have always gotten great food and had wonderful service in the past. However, this time was a huge disappointment. I ordered the salmon a la carte, which is what I have always gotten in the past. Even though I ordered it blackened, it had no flavor. I ordered the asparagus, which was ok, but again was not anything like it had been on past occasions.
After leaving the restaurant I mentioned my food to my husband and he said that his was not up to par as well. To top it off, the service, which is usually excellent, was also lacking. Very disappointing and underwhelming experience....to the point that we both said that we might mark the restaurant off of our rotation.
The best service in town! Do not doubt me on this. They are the Chick-fil-A of fine dining.
Food was late - after food arrived asparagus came after dinner was finished - spinach never came- waiter never followed up- Reserved a table for 4 in dining room and were in the very back of the bar. Water server was great. Waiter was slow- spoke with manager and he did respond to the above complaints by removing the cost of 3 entrees. Would have preferred to have better service for our going away dinner for our kids. However i would have rather paid the full price with better service. Food WAS good.
Everything was perfect.... from the service to the food to the ambience. We've been here before for Thanksgiving, and it was a wonderful experience. This time I brought my parents and they instantly fell in love with this place. They have already started planning dinner occasions in their head, lol. We were seated in the private room. We had a party of six, it was my son's 20th bday, and we were there right before it started getting crowded. Anyway, we have already planned to come here when my sister comes to town!
Service is always impeccable. They remember you as a prior patron. They make simple elegant. Meatballs are a treat paired with right wine. D family favorite
Very good service but the waiter was a bit rushed. Party going on at the bar and the noise level was high.
This was my first time ordering brunch with a popover. Having the popover sliced in half, dripping with hollandaise sauce, and filled with two poached eggs was fabulous. It was the perfect combinations of crispy, chewy, and creamy!
Everything was just ok. Not bad not great. The fact that the place was dead probably had something to do wit my mediocre rating.
Birthday food and service excellent
The food and the service were outstanding.
The food was superb. The server was excellent. Management has a fine staff. Ambiance well put together.
We had a table for 6 and the srrvice, food and wine was outstanding. My 18 year old Grandaughter had her 16th birthday at Davio's and loved it...when ask what she wanted for her 18th, she ask to go to Davio's
One can always count on a friendly greeting and good food at Davio's ... plus excellent cocktails. The menu is fulsome and varied, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious! ENJOY!
We saw at the bar. We ordered some wine , the scallops a la carte & mushroom pizza. Fabulous popovers arrived!
The food was very good.
The service was another matter. An F.
The female bartender paid attention only to her (apparently) regular customers. Including throwing ice from a man’s seafood platter at him several times.
Took forever to get out check & to go box for the pizza.
Spoke with the assistant manager who said “should I speak to her?”
Neither of us ( both women and of mixed races) has ever experienced this kind of inattentive service.
Never coming back. Left no tip.
Too many good places in Atl to be subjected to this.
Consistently great food. I had the duck special, it was amazing. The bread served on the weekend reminds me of Yorkshire pudding, it is also amazing. Professional staff. Good wine selections and great desert.
Delicious food and great service. Great night out with my wife. The green beans were just ok but everything else was fantastic
Love the look of this place, there’s a real elegance to it. Although we sat at the bar, and our servers didn’t know a lot about the food particulars, they did quickly ask and get us the answers we needed. After we ordered we were served an unusual bread, sort of a muffin but with an interior texture more like Yorkshire pudding. We started with one of the sides, onion rings, as our appetizer. They were a bit too oily and falling apart for my liking, but my husband felt they took him down memory lane from an experience in Florida decades ago. We shared the farro salad. I had hoped there would be a bit more of the avocado, cauliflower, and pepper toppings, that would have lightened this ‘salad’ as needed, and a bit more dressing, since it came across more like a bowl full of a heavy grain. We ordered the double cut pork chops, they were perfectly done, and tender, but lacked some flavor that usually comes from fat (maybe they trimmed too much off). The gnocchi were the sublime little pillows they should be, and came as a very generous portion (actually everything did, I think we took home even more than we ate), but they were floating in butter, next time I’ll request less. The mash potato side with horseradish tasted wonderful, but we’re way to runny/wet. Although we never order cheesecake since it’s usually way too big and also to heavy, this one looked lighter (you get to see all the desserts on a cart), it did not disappoint with its creamy texture and hint of lemon. White wine by the glass selection is superior to the reds, in length and depth of offering. We’d go again, but would ask for some changes as noted above.
We had a fabulous dinner on the patio. William was our waiter and he was fabulous!
We can't wait to come back!
I had forgotten about this great restaurant. They placed our group of 7 in a side room which was so nice for business discussions. The service was wonderful and the food was excellent. I will definitely be back for personal and business meals.
The service was just excellent and there isn't anything else I could say at the moment.
I just ate here again on 8/28. Everything was just excellent this time. The bread they served to tables was not burnt this time, and just really really good. The appetizers were all excellent. The entrees were excellent. Everything was perfect. The server, Jalal, was extremely good. Very nice, very friendly and upbeat, very knowledgeable, very attentive. Perfect experience this time. Love this place! ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
We love the restaurant and have been here several times. Ambience always very nice. Service always excellent. Most food usually excellent. This time a few things were just slightly less than great. Crabcake (had it before), was fishy tasting and diner could not even finish it. 2 others tried it and said same thing. Gnocchi a little too soft, 2 diners didn't like it. Veal tenderloin in marsala was excellent, but very small portion and too many inedible chewy parts, only able to eat about 3/4 of it. Shrimp pasta dish truly excellent. Spring rolls great as always. Scallops very excellent as always. All the bread for the table was a little burnt with a bad taste. Should not have been served. Noticed the same burnt bread going to every table.
Love the menus, love the food, love the wine list, love the bar, love the popovers.
Davio’s was a wonderful experience. The cocktails and food were so good. A great place for a celebration or date night.
Good food and service. They do an excellent job of making you feel special.
We go to this spot especially for the spicy broccoli rabe and the sautéed mushrooms. The broccoli was terrible this time - overcooked, bland, and missing garlic and the peppers. We sent it back to the kitchen and it came out the same way. Yuck. The server was great about it and may have taken it off our bill (forgot to check) but bless his heart, he spit a lot when he was talking and made me lose my appetite. :-(
Think the manager stopped by to ask about our experience so perhaps they will make sure this item goes back to it's delicious glory!
UPDATE: The restaurant GM called for a chance to redo our experience and they were really great. The food we ordered was delicious and they worked on getting the spicy broccoli rabe the way it used to be and almost got it. Somehow the recipe changed he thinks. :-) Regardless we had a marvelous experience and really appreciate the extra attention to our pickiness! Thank you Davio's! We'll continue to go as part of our date nights.
This restaurant has always been my favorite, but I took my (at the beginning of the night) girlfriend here for a beautiful night. I notified the hostess that I had a special surprise for my lady and was going to propose to her. Her and the rest of the staff did such a great job keeping the secret and aiding in the execution of the surprise. Aside from my stuff, the food was amazing! It was my fiancé's first time here and she enjoyed every bite!
Very expensive but food is cooked well and the ambiance is killer.
Everything outstanding! My son from Dallas, TX was with me and agrees 100 percent.
Very nice and peaceful. Would definitely return. Amazing wine.
It’s always a special occasion when we take my 88 year old mother to lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, service was excellent, ambiance was beautiful! Overall, it was a wonderful experience! We’ll be back and will recommend to friends/family. Thank you for a memorable experience! 👍👍
Always wonderful food and service. Best gluten free bread too!
