David's offer of various dishes are tempting enough to try them all. The Spanish Octopus starter was the best we have ever had. The food was delicious and the service was just right. We can always count on a wonderful meal at David's! The booths are very private which make it super Covid Friendly!!

We went to David's for an anniversary celebration and experienced a perfect evening of fine food and attentive service from Ryan our waiter. The interior of the restaurant is tastefully appointed, and the food from appetizers to dessert was delicious and well presented. The staff took special effort to highlight our celebration with tasteful gestures throughout the dinner. David's is an absolute gem of a restaurant.
Spent my birthday at David's - again!! The ambiance, food and service were excellent! Zack took great care of us. I highly recommend David's as a place for everything from casual dining to celebrations! You won't be sorry!

Simply divine! We went there for my wife’s birthday. She was made to feel so special. Vanessa was an outstanding server. And the food was just what you would expect from a five-star restaurant - outstanding! We will be back; that’s for sure. :)
The caviar service was impeccable and the food was all excellent especially the scallops, the steak very good as well.
Atmosphere was excellent. Patrons were spaced well due to Covid. Chilean Sea Bass was perfect, Filet Mignon was perfect, the special bone-in New York Strip was not quite as good as expected. Service was very good, server was knowledgeable and courteous.
The apps we ordered were good, but the (expensive) aged ribeye was unacceptable. Especially for a high end steak restaurant. Mine was tough, but edible, but my husband's was so grisly he had to send it back. We ended up just sharing mine. The waitress was nice enough to comp our dessert, but I feel the management should have addressed it. We won't be going back.
We have eaten here several times and are never disappointed.
We had reservations for 3 for New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately, our daughter was not feeling well. Not wanting to leave her alone, we decided to get dinner-to-go. The staff at David’s went out of their way to make the evening easy and enjoyable!

We have made this our go to place for close by celebrations and occasions. Just celebrated New Years Eve two nights ago. The carpaccio is great. Freshest seafood from Mayport shrimp To the grouper and Chilean sea bass. Foie gras and cold water lobster. All top notch!
Was spending a week on Amelia Island, and made dinner reservations at David's for New Year's Eve. What an absolute delight! It has a beautiful interior, the noise level was low, the meals were delicious, and our server (can't recall his name) was extremely cordial.
New Year’s eve dinner was delicious. Felt very COVID safe with well spaced tables and all servers in masks. Beautiful unpretentious setting. My only fault was that they charged a six dollar split plate fee for a $56 steak with an $18 lobster add on. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We always go to David’s since we had our rehearsal dinner there. Food and service are amazing.
Excellent evening! Great food, attentive service but not rushed in the slightest, good background music and chic decor. Turned out to be a super Christmas dinner.
They had a lot of customers for Christmas evening, so they actually did pretty well considering the volume on a holiday evening. The atmosphere was outstanding, even though we were seated in the bar (not AT the bar, but IN the bar), which we knew beforehand would be the case. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive; the only knock would be that things were a bit slow (probably because of the many customers being served).
The food was over-herbed and too "garlicky" (it repeated on both of us through most of the following day).
The price was way too high considering comparable dining experiences.

Everything was perfection, from the ambiance to the food. Our waiter Kendal was excellent. He has tge perfect demeanor. Knowledgeable and accommodating. We had the crab bisque, wedge sakad, filet oscar, salted caramel cake, creme brulee and flourless chocolate torte. Scrumptious. we stayed just next door at the Amelia Island Williams House B&B, which is one of the nicest establishments we've ever been fortunate enough to stay at. The combo made for a perfect holiday vacation. I highly recommend both!
I’ll blame COVID, but was nowhere near the same experience as last year, not even offered Coffee with desert. Set menu price was too high for the return...
Have been to David's several times and have never been disappointed.
I've never been disappointed in David's, and tonight was no exception. Great service from Kendall. Brie appetizer, beet salad, potato soup all wonderful. We each had different meals, all great (steak, chicken picatta, grouper special, sea bass). Portion sizes are adequate, but you're not going home with leftovers. Nice wine list, great bartender who does perfect cocktails. A go to on the island.
One of the steaks that we ordered was over done. The restaurant did remove it from the bill and redid the order. The service was not as good as previous visits.
Food was exceptional and presentation well done. Our server Shawn had excellent knowledge of the menu and was very helpful answering our questions or making suggestions. We will definitely be back especially to celebrate special occasions

We vacation regularly on the island and always have at least one meal at David’s which we consider our favorite.

We were expecting a good meal, but our food and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations! The food was very well prepared and delicious, we had a very nice wine, and the service was on point. We will definitely be back in the future!

Consistently great food and service. Fish dishes are excellent, especially the king crab. Husband loves the filet. Large drink menu with many wines to choose from.
