Good was great and the atmosphere was awesome. A m bit pricy but with it. Portions on appetizers were small but they were delicious. Service was excellent and courteous
Arrived early to reservation, took us immediately. Enjoyed the caesar saland and warm rolls. Clam chowder was tasty. We had the 8 oz filet and the rib eye both steaks were good as ordered. Creme brulee was excellent.
The food, service and ambiance was incredible. We sat at a window which overlooked the property, which is just gorgeous. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Atmosphere was fantastic. Drinks, food and service were on point. Cant wait to go back!
Very nice dining area with Great view. Had the Mussels which were very good and a ribeye steak and shrimp which I also enjoyed.
The staff made my friend’s birthday celebration very special. They brought out her dessert with a candle and even sang happy birthday. It was so sweet of them. Thank you!
Food was cold. Prime Rib was like shoeleather and no flavor. Not worth the price.
It was a wonderful meal and the service was so good . Everything was perfect . All three of us had outstanding meals .
quiet afternoon lunch,. beautiful view by the water
Not a bad restaurant if you don't care much about food or value. Service could have been better
Food was outstanding so was the ocean view. The staff and the drinks were on point!
Hostess did not honor request shared in reservation or again when asked an hour before the reservation for an intimate table with a view to celebrate a special occasion. Menu advertised half bottle of champagne and was not available. Waiter said they were out, manager said the menu was wrong and was only offered in the summer season, and then proceeded to share “back of the house” information about the manager recently leaving and is the reason for the inaccuracy of the menu. Pictures of restaurant make it look much larger and a more beautiful ambiance than it actually offers. Food was good but not exceptional.
Not many food choices, nothing special and over priced. It took way too long to even have someone come over and wait on us.
The chicken Amalfi had absolutely no taste. A limited menu. Service was slow and left something to be desired. Not very impressed on our first visit. Probably won’t be a second one
I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. However, last night I decided to bring my boyfriend (who’s never been before) and the service was poor. My waiter never checked on us. When he came by I asked for water and he walked away from me and ignored me. My boyfriend had to uncomfortably ask another waiter to refill water and order more drinks. For a $250 tab I expect better service.
My wife and I were there for our 50 th anniversary we made the reservation and told them about our anniversary. Not one person acknowledged our anniversary during our dinner. Someone could have wished us well
Waiter would not allow us to swap risotto for macaroni (even when we offered to pay for it), rushed our drinks and appetizer and then told us “We’d better order soon because we just got in a big group.” Risotto was room temperature. Portions were not large. We’ve eaten here many times before but were extremely disappointed this time.
unfortunately another business hit with lack of help. The food was good, a bit over priced since it the same menu as the other restaurants at this resort. There was just one server for the entire room, and although she was very good, the service did lack a bit. The a/c was much too high as everyone was complaining it was too cold. The maître de was giving out 2 different menu's to the tables with different items on each, much confusion to all in this " Fine Dining" restaurant.
The view is amazing. A beautiful day to sit outside. Make reservations if you want to sit outside.
Service was OK...we waited a long time to place a drink order and just as long to get them. Waiter seemed overwhelmed as was not one to check in with you often, hence my drink I never really drank as 2 bee's landed in it, showed it to the waiter and still was charged, nor was I offered a replacement.
Lunch choices are very good, something for everyone. However, 18 for 1 crab cake I though was a little high. I anticipated 2 to share with my guest and got 1. The ceasar salad was good, but not too sure if 14 dollars worthy with no protein. I have eaten at many high-rated restaurants as well as Michelin rated ones and I am not too sure this was comparable for the price.
I will come back, as I am a owner of 2 units at Water's edge. I do believe though there is room for improvement on the wait staff and service.
Food was blah. Nothing special about it. High prices. Excellent view.
Food was delicious. We got the spa/dinner package which was great. They didn’t limit you on the menu. Plenty of food, including apps, entree’s, dessert and coffee/tea. They’re a little short staffed but I think everyone is currently. The food was delicious! Raw oysters were yummy and our filets were perfectly cooked. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Live music which was fun! Would definitely recommend.
Great service, fiid was delicious, best atmosphere atound.
The food was outstanding. The presentation was beautiful too. I just wish we weren't seated by the noisy kitchen doors.
The staff was very accommodating when we arrived as I was on crutches and had asked for a table for two with a view. Downside was the elevator to the lower dining area has to pass thru the kitchen and bussing area the swordfish was very thin <1/2 “ and one side was over cooked while the other side was moist.?? . Service was excellent!! however the menu really was very scarce. You would think that a high end restaurant on the water would at least offer lobster. NOpe. Maybe prices were too high but interesting. I ordered the surf and turf and the strip steak was so thin it was over cooked and the tuna was as really not sushi grade tuna a f was tough when asked for it to be “rare”. The oyster were excellent as was the shrimp cocktail however. Granted this is was a Saturday night and they had two weddings at the same going but the kitchen staff was definitely not on the game. They did provide a wonderful complimentary anniversary dessert for after dinner which was asked for and came out classy. Overall I would go back for the beach side music and bar scene but head a different direction for the food.
The restaurant was lively, but servers very slow. Took 20 minutes to get the bill. Also, a male worker would run down the stairs from the bar area, through the edge of the dining room to God only knows where every 10 minutes or so. The thumping on the stairs detracted from the beautiful surroundings and was not what I expected in a fine dining experience. I have enjoyed brunch here many times, but my one and only dinner experience was not at all what I anticipated.
We had Jackie as a server. She was wonderful. We ordered oysters, shrimp cocktail, a crab cake, clam chowder, filet mignon and a limoncello cake. All of the courses were delicious as well as the drinks. The view outside was beautiful. It did get buggy later in the evening so we moved inside but overall we really enjoyed ourselves
Service was very good and the ocean front setting and live music were excellent! We found the food to be fresh and cooked to order, but somewhat bland.
They gave us a lovely table outside and sang happy birthday. The server was very nice.
Based on my experience, it was my 38th wedding anniversary dinner and it ruined the evening. I have been there many times and never have I experienced something so bad. I left my number with the receptionist for a manager to call me and almost 24 hours later I have yet to receive a call back. I would never recommend to anyone ever again.
Beautiful restaurant, but the food was just okay.
The food at Water's Edge is marginal. They might be overwhelmed by summer crowds? The Bistro in same establishment also not up to standard.
I love the idea of fine waterfront dining and Water's Edge checks a lot of the boxes. We were able to reserve an outside table for two overlooking the water -- and two other terraced bar type eateries (one with a band), and it was a wonderful relaxing dinner atmosphere for a small celebration. If you are looking for a quiet evening, get a table inside, as after 7pm, the band plays. We didn't mind as we were just about done then.
As for the food, the selections are as described in the menu, but seem to lack the flavor and presentation that we have come to expect from our other local favorite restaurants in the same price range (and less). Maybe we are just lucky to have so many fine eating place choices to pick from. We will more than likely try them again in the future.
Outside dining was delightfully noisy. Bar noise, crowd chatter, music and dancing. Lovely setting for the perfect summer night.
Waitress basically ignored us, very disappointing. Took over 45 minutes to get drinks after calling over multiple people ti grab our waitress. We could see her at the table next to us but she always walked right by us. Food was fine but did not merit the price. Sunset was pretty. Music was too loud to have a conversation.
Lunch menu did not reflect the variety of choices listed on the online menu. Disappointing.
The brunch selection and quality were excellent. Service was slow. We actually had to get up twice to find help with water and soda. The view is beautiful but the sitting area was not clean, our table was wobbly, the noise level very high, competing with soothing, beautiful piano music and the "restaurant'' seems to be a passthrough for swarms of people on their way to the beach. For the price I expected a better ambiance. But the food was superb!
Food was very uneven one dish was very good and the second was poor. Also the drinks were very poor being that one was basically tasteless and the other was very boozy.
Excellent experience -- food was great. Great service by our waiter Milton. He was excellent!!
The view from the restaurant is fabulous depending on where you sit and the food is delicious. I found the restaurant itself to be dirty. There were sugar packets on the side of one chair, food and crumbs on the floor and my chair was so dirty they had to switch it out. The service was a bit slow in terms of refilling water and bringing everything you need (coffee without a spoon, crea, sweetener).
