Great for kid’s! Delicious food and laid back atmosphere with super friendly staff. We brought out pup and sat on the patio and had a great time.

Food was great, service was great. Had some people around us that were loud and using foul language...was not family friendly for my kids.

Great hot dogs! The back open patio is super cozy and decorated in bright hue colors. Definitely a must do place!

I have been trying to get to one of Dat Dog every time I was in NOLA, but this time was a charm. Got there soon after they opened, and the service was fast and the food wonderful - we all got different things and all were good from all beef hot dogs to their Vegan dog. Love the people, music and the outdoor patio!

Reservations were made for a larger party but no table was reserved and told it was a first come first serve situation so there was no point of making the reservation. The food was good but took above average time to come out and it did not seem too busy.

First off, the food was fantastic! The dogs were ridiculously delicious. Secondly, The gentleman taking orders at the front door was as cold as an Alaskan winter. He was rude and very short with us. It was as if he was mad that there were any customers in the restaurant. We were so rushed to make our order we didn’t even get time to absorb the menu. The rest of the staff were very kind and helpful! As small business owners it pains us to see a business that is fighting for their financial survival have someone working that gives off the “why are you bothering me vibe”. My words, not his. If he was helpful we would have easily ordered another $50 in food and drinks. I’m addition if you don’t take reservations why are you on open table and have reservations available? We hope these crazy rules your business is living under are over soon!

When I tried to check in, Bartender said Dat Dog does not take reservations on Opentable. So if you make a reservation, do not attempt to check in, at least at this location.
