   Wsitress was helpful it didntvseem busy but getting our food wad slow We had breakfast my toast was cold. Didnt feel was that hot warm not hot when served Its nice for a visit but not someplace that would be a place i would want to go back to freq

   Das Bevo is a unique restaurant that is exprcually fun to visit for beer or Sunday brunch. I would recommend Das Bevo for the excellent atmosphere, wonderful food and fair prices. The brunch burgers are the best I have ever had. Good to bring your out of city friends to visit or for a romantic brunch.

   Sadly I had booked because we wanted to also see the Christmas market. When we arrived there were fliers taped up that said it had moved locations. While we may get past that, we had a horrible experience with the actual meal. We waited over an hour between ordering and actually receiving our food. There was a bigger group ahead of us, but half the restaurant was empty - so seemed those should offset. The waitress was kind and tried to give updates - but she had limited information. Once we received the food, only 3 of the 4 meals came out and the other was delayed even further. An extra side one of us ordered never arrived. Sadly the food was mediocre at best and in some cases cold (which made no sense). Unfortunately 2 hours of my Sunday that I can’t get back.

   Loved everything about the restaurant, included the heavy accent on German foods. The only drawbacks were the sound level of the Muzak and the lack of flavor, or spiciness in the food.

   We were a bit disappointed in the buffet. The turkey was good. The dressing was terrible. There was only one hot vegetable, brussel sprouts, not my favorite and the pumpkin pie was still a bit frozen and there wasn't any whip cream! Was expecting better.

   Great atmosphere and live music space! Overall, our experience was a good one thanks to the cozy atmosphere and great music space downstairs. It was my first time to go to Das Bevo. The service was terrible and the food was mediocre, but the space was great and the live music experience with Kim Massie was fantastic. I would recommend appetizers and drinks here rather than a full meal. I was disappointed in the food, but I will be back for Kim Massie's next show!
