Food and ambiance are great! Beautiful decor and architecture and just a lovely place to dine and linger. Our server was a bit pushy and off-putting. The lovely Persian music was excessively loud for part of the time but they eventually lowered it to a tolerable level.

If you love Persian food, you need to go to Darvish! With the warm, delicious bread served with honey butter and an olive spread (so good), I knew I was in for a wonderful dinner. The eggplant appetizer with garlic, mint, and egg was amazing. The lamb and split pea stew had an outstanding depth of flavor and the tajin rice was excellent with a perfect crust.

What an unexpected haven from the hustle and bustle of the city! I cannot say enough, good things about this restaurant. The food, the staff, the beverages, the owners, simply delightful. I have dined with friends and I have dine with myself, I’m not sure which experience was the best. They can also accommodate large parties, as well as create private dining experiences. There is a lounge on the third floor that I know is exceptional, but have yet to spend much time in. The Interiors welcome and envelop you, every little detail has been thought of and executed to perfection. Your eyes will wander around the interior constantly, but not so much that you are distracted from your conversation. There is a lounge on the third floor that I know is exceptional, but have yet to spend much time in (next time!). This has quickly become my favorite place to eat and lounge in DC, and I cannot wait until the next time. if you are lucky enough to be staying somewhere with at least a small kitchen, I highly recommend you take your leftovers home with you, because there will be leftovers - they make an excellent breakfast/brunch before you hit the streets again the next day.

Food was amazing but large portions do we couldn’t finish it all . We had lamb shank , lamb kebab and sultan beef kebabs . I think we could have shared a rice and potentially entrees if you have apps and bread you could share 2 entrees betweeen 3 people . Service was excellent and we loved the Persian music playing in the background. Space is cute and funky . Highly recommend
