   From the moment we stepped into Daphne, we were transported — this place is elegant, warm, and effortlessly chic. But what truly elevated our evening was the impeccable service from our server, Terran, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and made fantastic recommendations that turned our meal into something unforgettable. We started with the grilled octopus, and wow — it was tender with the perfect char, dressed with a vibrant herbaceous topping and paired beautifully with a silky puree and a touch of citrus. Every bite was a delight, and the presentation (pictured!) was stunning. Next came the clam pasta, and it was pure perfection. The pasta was al dente, the clams were fresh and juicy, and the broth was so flavorful we nearly asked for bread just to soak up every last drop. And let’s not forget the black truffle pizza — an absolute showstopper. The aroma alone was intoxicating, and the rich, earthy truffle flavor paired with the crisp, wood-fired crust made it one of the best pizzas we’ve had in Toronto. Terran’s warmth, timing, and genuine enthusiasm for the menu made us feel like VIPs. We’ll be back soon, and we’ll definitely be asking for Terran again. Highly recommend Daphne for anyone looking for elevated food, thoughtful service, and an unforgettable night out!

   This is a super spot. Beautifully laid out with a simple and clear menu. My only issue was the seating with unmovable cushions--a bit annoying and uncomfortable seating with such short backs on the chairs. Lovely staff and dishes that were not overdone. We were so grateful to not have had the waiter standing at our table side explaining in excruciating detail of 500 words about where the salt came from while your entree is getting cold. Well done, Daphne team. We'll be back.

   This is my first review but had a great time here and most recommend. Went with some girlfriends when in town celebrating my engagement. Food and cocktails were excellent and Mike our sever was incredible all night! Attentive but not annoying, funny, and really thoughtful. What a great spot, fab service, and very chic vibe. I def recommend!

   Enjoyed our dinner very much. Service was impeccable. Our server Luis was excellent. Wine selection is great. We would definitely go back there.

   I took my mother and daughter out for a Mother’s Day dinner and had a wonderful dining experience. Our server Michael was superb! Michael had extensive knowledge of the menu and recommended the perfect glass of wine for every course. The food was outstanding!

   We had an unforgettable Mother’s Day experience, thanks in large part to our fantastic server, Sarah. The tuna carpaccio, pancakes, and jamón Ibérico were absolutely delicious. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable making the day truly special.

   Our recent family visit to this restaurant was truly exceptional. From the moment we stepped inside, we were met with a level of care and attentiveness from the staff that went above and beyond. Food and drinks including the desert were all very delicious and beautifully plated.
