    We dined for a friend’s birthday and from the first hello to the goodbye, Thomas was exquisite and very human in is service. We had a great experience and he was always ready to give his propositions and advices. The quality of the dishes was up there and was well complemented by the his savoir-faire. Hard Recommandation !

    We visited Daphne for brunch on Sunday. The restaurant was very accommodating and the server was helpful and attentive. We tried a few brunch dishes from the menu, which were well-prepared and enjoyable. However, the menu was quite limited on the day of our visit. The coffee machine was broken, and both the pancakes and French toast—two items we were particularly looking forward to—were sold out or unavailable. We were especially excited about the sweet brunch options, so it was a bit disappointing that they weren’t offered that day.

    Arrived at 9 PM and were promptly shown to our seats in the speakeasy section which has an absolutely stunning aesthetic, perfect for photos and a unique night out. Our waiter was attentive and offered fantastic drink suggestions. I tried The Botanist mocktail, and it was easily one of the best I’ve had so highly recommend! For mains, I ordered the salmon, which, unfortunately, was quite bland and underwhelming. The New York strip loin, requested medium to well, came out inconsistently cooked (half well, half burnt). However, the manager handled the issue gracefully, which really showcased the restaurant’s commitment to top-tier service. The star of the night was the lemon meringue; hands down the best I’ve had in Toronto. I’ve also heard great things about their pasta and pizza, so that might be the better route next time. Overall: Exceptional service, amazing drinks and desserts, but the main courses need some serious refinement. Worth a visit for the ambiance and cocktails alone.

    Decor was really nice. Huge restaurant with a patio. But, I didn’t find the food to be exceptional. I had the lobster pasta but it was mediocre.

    They provide amazing service and they have the most respectful workers ever and they are just the sweetest human beings alive I loved my dinner, service, everything about that place. I will definitely be going back a million times and maybe next time I’ll try going for brunch as I went for dinner. I got their steak and as I’m Muslim and asked them to cook it without the wine, it wasnt even dry it was so good and they even provided herb butter which was so delicious so even if you get your steak cooked with wine I really recommend you asking for their butter to go with the steak its soooo good. Ugh I will never shutup about this place after yesterday. They’re so great :) Also their truffle fries are a must have!

    Absolutely fantastic experience! From the elegant ambiance to the beautifully crafted dishes, everything was top notch. Our server Sarah was outstanding—attentive, warm, and professional. The entire staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. Highly recommend for a special night out!

    For such a hyped up place it's odd to have no options for gluten free alternatives. When I asked waiter for assistance she just responded with "good questions.. I don't know" and then proceeded to tell me that my only option for brunch is the steak. So I had ONE option of food to order and it was somehow the most expensive one of the menu. Also the waiter disappeared after we got our food, so there was no way to share feedback and it took us two hours to get the bill after looking for someone to assist us multiple times. The restaurant is beautiful, ambiance is beautiful, food was merely okay, and service was definitely not good.

    Such a beautiful setting and delicious, thoughtfully-presented dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our brunch and Brianna helped to make it extra-special for us. We can’t wait to return for dinner, perhaps outdoors in the lovely courtyard if the weather is on our side. Thank you, Daphne Team!
