    Incredible ambiance in a beautiful old bank building. Food was excellent.... Innovative Italian fare with very unique and tasty versions of familiar dishes. Great value for such a high-end restaurant experience

    We had a pleasant greeting and were seated promptly, at a nice table for 2. Our server came quickly and made us comfortable to be there. He introduced himself as Ishmael, and he was one of the best servers I recall ever having help us. He was informative and respectful and described the dishes as if he was tasting them as he spoke. He attended to my husband's dietary restrictions with grace. The food, as always at Dante's, was exceptional. The asparagus salad, sporting a robust grating of Pecorino over a surprising rise of foam, was fabulous, and easily shared. The red fish and swordfish dishes had been perfectly described, but still tasted delightfully unexpected. We were less thrilled with dessert, but that was probably because our hunger had been well sated by dinner, so I won't mention what that was. Thank you so much for an unforgettable evening!

    We celebrated our 46 wedding anniversary there and they were outstanding in terms of recognizing our special day. The host and hostess , our server and the chef who came out to our table were amazing. I would recommend it to anyone.

    Last night we went to Dante’s to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and service was exceptional. Thank you Phil and Ishmael for making it a special evening for us. Dante remains one of our favorite places to dine!

    We have dined here over a dozen times. The service wasn’t what we had received in the past. Unfortunate when you spend $400 on a party of 2.

    Our experience is always great at Dante. Last night, we sat outside in beautiful weather and took advantage of excellent service and wonderful food. My wife and I split the baby scallops as a starter and loved the preparation. She had the duo pork (chop and braised cheek) and the portion was enormous, allowing her to make a second meal out of it. I had the swordfish, which was tender (cut with a fork), prepared with heart of palm and shiitake fritters, a really creative side to the main portion. Our daughter's coming into town in a couple of weeks and we plan to take her to this neighborhood jewel.

    What a joy to have this caliber of food 20 minutes from my home in the hippest little city. Food was exceptional and our waiter Brian made sure our experience was exceptional as well. Homemade pasta and dessert trio + wines were my favorites.
