The service was super slow - food was pretty good - staff was really nice. Just be prepared to be there for a while. It’s the summer and they were probably understaffed. Probably could step up their game a bit.

You're right, it is summer and I do staff accordingly and though I recommend our guests to make a reservation that is not always the case. Mostly, our guests do appreciate that I source only the best ingredients to serve a menu made from scratch and to order while they dine here without being rushed. If you are a foodie, this would be a great place. We were a bit set back when our server told us the cupons we had were going to be accepted, but only because he thought that is what brought us in. It was! And we did expect them to be accepted. I now have two other coupons, bought in good faith, wondering what I should do with them. That in mind, if you are a foodie, you will like this place.
The mushroom cassoulet was VERY good, the fig flatbread was over toasted and the the biason ribs overdone, but that is my taste - other members of my group enjoyed what they had - albeit leaving most of the meal on their plate. Also a bit on the $$$$ side for the ambiance and meal. Our sever Michael was awesome, the other servier (a women) seemed a bit distracted???? I think, I would give it a 2nd chance.........................
Hi Jay, thank you for making a reservation with us. Though your coupons brought you in and we are grateful, the coupons are not valid with any other promotions including our summer offer. However, we honored your coupons. Some distraction was caused by numerous walk in guests back to back and my wife ran in to help at the last minute. Good food and wonderfully different selection on menu. Worth a visit.
This experience is like having dinner at the home of a good friend. Every dish that came to our table was splendid! Great flavors, the most amazing combinations of spices, just delicious!
Chef Daniel creates delicious and original dishes out of a small but well organized kitchen. Menu changes with the availability of fresh, from the farm ingredients and Chef Daniels inspiration. We will return to check out what new creations will be served. Worth a series of visits.
We enjoyed a special evening at Daniel’s Table. The hostess and server were welcoming and friendly, going to great lengths to make sure we understood nuances of the innovative dishes, and that we were satisfied at every stage of the meal.
Of course, the food was the evening’s star, the artistry of Chef Daniel who could be seen in the open kitchen bringing his delicious creations to fruition. From a spicy crisp greens and sweet melon salad to an unusual take on cassoulet to bison ribs to venison meatballs—all were delicious and unlike anything we’d ever tasted.
Chef Daniel really knocked it out of the park with his flourless chocolate cake, the most amazing one I’ve eaten in 40 years of sampling them wherever I can.
A charming ambiance added to the experience. We’ll definitely be back.

WOW! What a find in the CV! Make a reservation & go to Daniel’s Table. Fresh,organic fare with a Mediterranean flare & weekly menu changes. Our server, Bruce, was the BEST we’ve experienced in the CV. We went for Restaurant Week and enjoyed the special menu with wine parings. Bruce selected a wine for each dish - each person was served ($30 per person). Like the food, wines are all organic. We (4 people) were particularly impressed with the food & wine paring experience. Bruce was extremely wine knowledge & his selections for each individual were spot-on. We tried a variety of menu items - wild boar ribs, fresh tomato stack, salmon, vegan casserole, & duck meatballs. The space is small - make a reservation. We’ll be back!
What a find! We tried it during restaurant week and definitely plan to go back. A bit pricy but it’s worth it. Plan to have a long leisurely dinner as the chef uses all organic items and makes everything from scratch.
Our one week vacation came to an end and we wanted our “Last Supper” to be memorable, romantic and delicious. It was ALL that PLUS!
Firstly, coming from San Francisco, where parking is a premium, there is plenty at DT. His restaurant is in a strip mall. We parked right in front. A good omen. Secondly, we were greeted and seated by an energetic woman, who we got to know later as Feli. Bruce our server was tops and added entertainment and laughs. The appetizer arrived and our mouths were literally super happy. The second course came and our dining experience heightened. The main entree arrived and it was masterful and smelled delicious.... AND IT WAS!
We arrived late so Feli (Daniel’s lovely wife) took the time to chat with us. The night was complete when we had the pleasure of meeting top chef and owner.... Daniel!!! We were charmed and admire his respect for healthy and clean eating. Our hats off to you. We will be back in September for round two

The white tablecloth service was great at this restaurant in an unlikely, unassuming location in a strip mall in Cathedral City. Bruce. our waiter, took an interest in our experience. Chef Daniel is very personable and makes you feel welcome. And his food is delicious! All the customers were local that evening. It's tempting to order too many rich dishes in the same meal: bison, salmon, duck meatballs. The salmon was outstanding. The duck meatballs with greek tubular pasta were very rich and very tasty. All the portions were generous. We will definitely return. Since Chef Daniel was the only one visible in the kitchen, how could he prepare food if his small (approximately 15 tables) restaurant is full? I guess we'll find out on our return visit.
I have already recommended Daniel's Table to several friends. I brought part of my entree home and enjoyed it the next night. Good menu choices that change each week. Wish I could afford go each week. Greens are all local and bison that I had was wonderful. 🙂
People in the Coachella Valley are fortunate to have Daniel's Table as one of their dining options. The chef-centered restaurant would stand out in any community, but it is particularly attractive in a market with few non-chain options. The food is exceptional, service friendly and informative, and the setting is elegant but comfortable. The menu is varied, and the fish is exceptional. The chef works hard to source the best possible ingredients (our microgreens arrived at the restaurant shortly before we did!), and the kitchen uses a wood-fired oven to cook everything to perfection.
Warmly greeted upon arrival. First time at this restaurant. We went for restaurant week. Delicious food/ nice wine selection. . Interesting menu. Enthusiastic wait staff.

A very enjoyable dining experience. Beautifully prepared food with a varied menu. Try the stuffed dates and 1/2 rack lamb. Delicious! We will be back.
The waiter gave us to much information.
I never heard of a restaurant only offering one side dish (rice), really rice with lamb.
The halibut was fishy smelling, fish should never smell.
Daniel’s concept is a wonderful way to cook. Just didn’t do it for us, we canceled our reservations for Spencer’s and afterwards wished we had not.
We had such a wonderful evening at Daniel’s Table. We enjoyed each course we had, the Caesar salad, Tomato and Mushroom Flatbread, Salmon and Scallops. And when we thought it couldn’t get any better.....we were even blown away by the desserts!! Flourless Chocolate Cake and the Baklava were amazing! You have to try this place!!! And did I mention that it is all organic, gmo free and made fresh to order. Enjoy!
This is the 3rd time that I have eaten in this small gem, conveniently located across from the Mary Pickford and CVRep in Cathedral City.
Every ingredient in the scrumptious selections, including the wine are organic- and the light, flourless chocolate dessert was the best I’ve ever had!
Daniel, the owner/chef is hands on and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable about everything served that day.
The food and service was excellent. Daniel came out of the kitchen and greeted us, asked if our needs were being met. We’d definitely return and recommend this restaurant to family and friends.
