Daniel's Broiler is my new favorite restaurant in Seattle. The New York strip was the best steak I have ever had before (as was my fiancés salmon). The service was outstanding (we had an outdoor reservation and due to the high winds it was miserable. Our server was able to get us a table inside even after the hostess stand told us they were booked for the night and we would be stuck outside). The dessert was also phenomenal. Prices reflect the quality of the food but hey, you pay for what you get! Cannot wait to spend future special occasions at the Daniel's.

Daniel's Broiler-Lake Union left me unsatisfied and underwhelmed. For the price I expect all aspects of the evening to be great. The host was blah and not excited or happy to see us. They had us waiting for a table despite having a reservation. Sat us at a booth near the door where it constantly opened and the cold air hitting us all night (they really should fix this). Waited quite a while for our server once seated. Our server George once he did get to us was great. I think there are other great steak houses for less price where you can get the same great food but with better experience.

Doing a pretty good job given covid restrictions. Weak dessert selection
The Ahi dish needs much more sides and a better selection at that. It came on a bed of wet, oily French fries and was all mushy. It was an imbalanced meal considering the size of the Ahi; I would have loved to see it with fresh greens/vegetables or mashed potatoes. If fries are the way to go, they should have been separated or deep fried crispy instead of soaked in oil.

Daniels is always great and I've never had a bad experience here. Its probably due to covid regulations but the service felt very impersonal during this visit.

6 of us. All loved it! Ordered 3 appetizers to please all pallets. My favorite was the artichoke one. Our entrees were fantastic! I don’t eat steak often. I only want the best when I do. Having been to Daniel’s before, I knew what I was getting. Filet Mignon. Makes me want to make satisfied noises like I did as a child. Great safety. Great service.
Spending just shy of $700 on dinner for 4, you have an expectation about service. While the service was “average” for this caliber of restaurant, it didn’t make the experience over the top. Food was good, view was good... but not $700 for dinner good.

Excellent food, drinks and service all around. Certainly a rare night out for the average person cost wise, but no complaints with high expectations met perfectly. Daniel's Broiler certainly delivers on their reputation.

We have been going to Daniels for years. In the last 3 times we went there, the first time the steak was really bad (sinewy and could not be cut) and we sent it back and got another. Next time, it was fine. This time, we got steak, the Piedmont, for $80. Another fatty, sinewy steak that could not be cut and tasted gross. We have decided not to ever get steak at Daniels, just fish.

As a nurse, I am very covid conscious. For my 30th birthday, my husband and I went to Daniels to treat ourselves after not going out to eat for over a year. We sat on the patio and it was spectacular! It was warm with great cozy lighting, plenty of space and a beautiful view.
The food was excellent, as always. The La Poire cocktail was delicious and recommended by our server, Richard. Richard was personable and very accommodating. Thank you Daniels Broiler for making our night our comfortable and delicious.

All of our food was cooked to perfection - steaks, prawns, AND all the veg sides. Only slight issue was the waiter forgot to bring my wedge salad until the meal was almost over, but it's okay. It was delicious!!

Our 8 year-old loved her birthday dinner. The deep dish cookie is absolutely delicious. I think our server's name was Jordan. He is fantastic.

While the food was good and the ambiance was nice. The prices are pretty high considering the company adds on an additional 20% (not a tip) to the bill with no advanced warning. And those additional funds are kept by the company to be "an employer of choice" not given to the workers as a tip. So my bill had an additional 40% once the fee and tip were added. I am not interested in making the owner's richer for an already wildly expensive meal and the wait staff sees none of it. Our server was nice in explaining it to us, but I will not be taking clients here anymore because this practice is disrespectful to the clientele (mandatory 20% fee that is not communicated). No thanks.

Our dining experience was very pleasant. The waiter was wonderful, attentive without being overbearing. Our meals were perfectly prepared and the portions were generous. The view of the lake was a nice touch.

I took my boyfriend there for his birthday. It was our first time and it did not disappoint us. We had the calamari and popcorn shrimp, which was so so good! For our main course I had the Alaskan king crab legs, it was so juicy and sweet, with a filet Mignon cooked perfectly. It also came with garlic mashed potatoes too. I loved how fluffy and creamy it was. my boyfriend had the lobster tail and filet mignon as well. He said the steak was nice but the lobster tail was a bit over cooked and didn’t really meet what he was expecting. It was a great experience overall and our server Austin was the best part. Very nice, attentive and gave us great recommendations. Will definitely be back soon!

Party of (4) crammed into an extremely small booth. Service wasn’t as good as it always has been. Seemed slow on drink deliveries. Steak was under cooked, but was my fault for not thoroughly checking. I have never had to really check. Desert center “cookie” was under cooked couldn’t eat.

We almost left when the hostess was extremely unfriendly and rude, but our server was fantastic. He made the experience! The food was okay—nothing inspired. The view was lovely. We will come back.

The dinner it self was amazing and the atmosphere is prefect. But divert for two was over 350 so i thought it was a little over priced but it's amazing.

the waitress was unfriendly. I had to ask another waiter and busboy for assistance at our table .the waitress made a comment when she served my glass of wine "here is your second glass of Riesling" , which was embarrassing.
