Dining at Daniels on Lake Union was very special, lovely views of the lake, boats, city lights, impeccable steaks and service. We hadn’t been there in several years and was a treat to go back. Top notch!!!
We loved the food, and the service was excellent. We started with bacon wrapped scallops and deep fried artichoke hearts. I had the jidori chicken dinner, which, I think is the best chicken in the world. My spouse had the pork chop, which was delicious. My daughter had the Alaska crab legs, which were very meaty. And her boyfriend had a trio of three steaks, including Waygu steak, served black and blue, which was very tasty. The price was high, but it was worth it. We were very satisfied and will go back.
Everything was amazing! Every part of it! John was our server and he was phenomenal. Yeh good was great . The drinks were amazing . Not too noisy and they had it set up to that tables aren’t too close so you have to squeeze past other people . It was great!
Amazing steaks and wonderful service! Everything was so good and our waitress was very fun. She knew when we needed something left us alone when we wanted it. I would go back for date nights or any occasion.
My husband ordered a rib eye and garlic mashed potatoes and said that it was delicious but a little salty. I ordered the bacon wrapped scallops and they were very salty, and it was not the bacon. They came on little crostini's and that was also very salty. I ordered a 1/2 order of the mushrooms marsala and was very excited to taste it. The sauce was very good however there were only a couple of button mushrooms and the remaining were stems and pieces.I only ate a few bites of it. Our server was great and took very good care of us.
We've always loved Daniel's, but the last two visits are a little disappointing. You're putting a gravy on your high-end steaks that ruin the flavor. And coupled with the price increases -- not sure we'll be back soon.
Steaks were good as expected but everything else was just ok. Cocktails were terrible, I suspect they had an inexperienced bartender. For the price you pay, I expected much better.
First time going to Daniel's broiler, the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. Terrific food and outstanding customer service! Highly recommend anyone who's wanting a romantic dining experience.

We had a steak and lamb, both were amazing. Perfectly cooked, the waitress was superb, I highly recommend.
We had an amazing time, the service was top tier from the moment we walked in the door. The manager checked in with us twice, making us feel welcomed. This was in fact a 5 star experience from start to finish. We'll always come back!
We were a party of two & ordered one appetizer each, two of the more moderately priced entree’s, one cocktail each, one glass of wine each, and dessert. I wish there had been at least one memorable dish. One thing that made the nearly $400 bill seem worth it. There really wasn’t.
The service was truly exceptional, and there was nothing blatantly wrong with any of the food. It was all just sorta, “meh”.
At those prices I’ll stick to Canlis, thank you very much.
It was a great evening with friends and my spouse. The server was simply outstanding! She was knowledgeable about the menu items, wine and cocktail selections. Also she had a good knowledge of the various cuts of meats and answered all our questions. This is my second time in one month. It is definitely my go to restaurant for special occasions.
Daniel׳s Broiler has always been our favorite places to treat our selves to something special. We had a wonderful evening though a few things didn’t seem up to the previous standard we have received in the past.
The Seared Ahi Tuna was cut very thin, was barely seared and somewhat chewy. This is an appetizer we have ordered in the past and loved that we felt fell short this time around.
I ordered an 8oz filet mignon. Though it was still very delicious I don’t feel it was the same melt in your mouth delicious steak I have had in the past.
Some of these short coming may be due to COVID-19 and the quality of items the restaurant is able to get and serve. We have every intention to remain loyal patrons of Daniel׳s Broiler and look forward to visiting again.
The place was lovely, service was great and so was the atmosphere. The food lost a star because of the baked potato. Didn’t have much favor added it was something you could have made at home. Would have been nice to add seasoning on the potato skin or something. The vegetables that I got was soaked in butter or oil. Other than that the main course was worth every penny!
We went there on New Year’s Day. Their parking lot was covered with ice. They didn’t clean their parking lot for the safety of their customers. Our car lost control and slipped on the icy slope. We saw a couple of other cars slip on the icy parking lot too. Luckily we didn’t bumped into other cars.
We told the front desk and the manager about the condition and asked them to put a sign on the parking lot to warn their customers. Their attitude was indifferent and they were unapologetic. They should take responsibility for the safety of their customers if they choose to open their restaurant under icy conditions.
I loved how easy it was to book my reservation the restaurant was amazing. Will definitely book again.

Our waiter Jordan was incredible! Enjoyed him, his knowledge of the menu was extraordinary.
We will definitely be back and asking for Jordan's table.

Delicious steak and King Crab Legs! 5 Star View of Lake Union, the marina, University district and Wallingford! Outstanding ambiance on New Year's Eve! Relaxing 2 hour dinner. Patrons were appropriately spaced for Covid protection. Wait staff was friendly, not snobby, but professional. Looking forward our next special occasion at Daniel's on Lake Union!
The service was absolutely wonderful. However, I've had a better Ribeye for 1/4 the price.
Beautiful view and ambience. Outside of steak, however, food was not to our liking. Also, they precharge 20% gratuity. Don't believe its worth the very high cost of meal.
The scallops were amazing. We will be back for those for sure.
Daniel’s never disappoints. This was my 1st time at South Lake Union location typically go to Leschi location. Ambiance and decor was very nice. Service was top notch as always and the food… what can I say it speaks for it itself every bite was just as good as the first.
Daniels has been our go to for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversary's or just happy hour. I realize covid has put a strain on a lot of businesses in many ways but the last few times at Daniels we haven't had the experience that we love. The menu has been shorten and our favorites are gone but the prices have defiantly increased. We took my son for his bday and for 6 people, $1200+. We had a lovely time yes, but for a steak and mashed potatoes ~ no. The apps are just "meh" now, there's only 3 shareable side items and again with the price hike. Sadly after 10+ years, we might have to look for a new "celebration/happy hour" spot.

Had an 8pm reservation, but didn't get seated till almost 9pm. Frustrating to wait that long after reserving (and confirming!) our time.

They do a good job at Daniels. Covid protocols are properly enforced. Food is good. Prices are high, as is the case in all "Steak Houses". Warm bacon dressing on salad was a highlight of the meal. I was not particularly impressed with the filet, the porterhouse was better.
Daniel׳s doesn’t disappoint. Prices are high but you can’t compare it to other restaurant. Highly recommend it if money isn’t an option.

Quality is just not even close to what it used to be 10 years ago. $650 for 4 people to have dinner that is mediocre is not good for return business. I won’t be going back nor recommending Daniels to any friends. Leschi is a tad bit better but still not worth the price.
