I had a $70 steak that was gristly. I've had better steak from Trader Joe's. We had to ask multiple times for things from our server. Both are unacceptable for the cost. This was not my first visit but will be my last.

Steak dinner is a treat. Daniel's has very high quality steaks cooked beautifully. It's quite expensive, but worth an occasional splurge. I usually don't have high expectations for wines by the glass, but since my dining partner doesn't drink wine, I thoroughly enjoyed the Abeja cab. Super expensive for a glass of wine, but a generous pour and really great wine for beef. I rate the experience a bit low for ambience. Our table was next to the kitchen and we heard (not trying to eavesdrop) a lot of chatter, co-workers visiting. It felt a little cave-like and I'm sure other tables closer to the view would be more enjoyable. I didn't ask to be re-seated, so that's perhaps on me. The consistently high-quality steak is what brings me back, coupled with professional, efficient service.
Finally a night out with out the kiddos and we had fabulous time. The wait staff was awesome the food incredible can’t wait to go back!!!

Serving frozen Salmon from New Zealand when fresh local is available is not your style. Not serving Oysters seems ridiculous when Elliot’s serves 12 varieties! The restaurant felt dirty and the service was ok. The outdoor area looked poorly put together.
I’ve been a Daniels customer for 30 plus years! Seemed like a lazy attempt at reopening. It will be a while before I am back.

The facility was tired looking, staff had no enthusiasm and while we selected some of the finest items on the menu the outcome was a very marginal dinner for two at a price of $400. A couple other things to note, reservations have a $25 per person cancellation.Fee and the place is at nowhere close to full, and there is an automatic 20% tip regardless of service or food quality. Go to the Met in Seattle, not Daniels!

I had dinner here with a friend, we ordered the lobster tail meal. The sautéed shrimp and king crab legs appetizer. All of the food was good.

I took my wife to dinner for our anniversary and we had a really good time and the food was amazing. We actually got seated in the same spot that I proposed😊 We will definitely be back in the future. Our waitress was outstanding as well. She was very helpful and and very professional.

What was advertised as wild king salmon, from Alaska according to our server, was actually farmed salmon. At $58 a plate we expected what was advertised. They apologized and compted one of the three plates ordered at our table. But this is inexcusable. We are fish folks and know our fish. They need to take what they advertise seriously. Our group has been coming to this restaurant for years. I doubt we will again.

Our server, Gregory, was super attentive yet respectful, quite knowledgeable with the menu, and made us feel quite comfortable from the moment we were seated.
We had reservations so we didn’t wait long. The host was friendly.
Really good clam chowder. Our ribeye entree was cooked to perfection. First great experience overall.

Overpriced and underwhelmed. Those are two words that come to mind when I think of Daniel’s broiler. Buyers beware. I ordered the lobster tail and filet mignon, was not impressed. Honestly nothing discernible between this establishment and a Long horn steak house. All I tasted was butter. I would save your money and go elsewhere. The service was fine no complaints there. There’s also a 20% service charge on top of the already overpriced menu items. The food is not worth your money. Ambiance is also very poor. For such an expensive place I would’ve at least expected table clothes. The patio is not cozy by any means. Ugly and dirty tiles.

We ordered a few appetizers and a couple of drinks. I paid over $200 which included gratuity. The food was average , at best. I don’t mind paying for an extraordinary meal; or even an ordinary meal. This was just blah.

We went here for the food and the view, which were both very good. As good as the food was, it didn’t merit the prices compared to many other fine restaurants we’ve tried.
Our waiter was not good. At this type of establishment you expect the waiter to know enough about the wine list to make a recommendation. Ours did not even know anything about the house wines. It was my wife’s birthday so he brought her a complimentary dessert, which was nice, and expected. But even though i was having dessert right there, he brought hers in a little box and stuck a birthday candle in the seam of the box. That was ridiculous to say the least. We probably wont go back here and i cant really recommend it as there are better option to have great food with a view.

Daniel's Broiler is my new favorite restaurant in Seattle. The New York strip was the best steak I have ever had before (as was my fiancés salmon). The service was outstanding (we had an outdoor reservation and due to the high winds it was miserable. Our server was able to get us a table inside even after the hostess stand told us they were booked for the night and we would be stuck outside). The dessert was also phenomenal. Prices reflect the quality of the food but hey, you pay for what you get! Cannot wait to spend future special occasions at the Daniel's.

Daniel's Broiler-Lake Union left me unsatisfied and underwhelmed. For the price I expect all aspects of the evening to be great. The host was blah and not excited or happy to see us. They had us waiting for a table despite having a reservation. Sat us at a booth near the door where it constantly opened and the cold air hitting us all night (they really should fix this). Waited quite a while for our server once seated. Our server George once he did get to us was great. I think there are other great steak houses for less price where you can get the same great food but with better experience.

The Ahi dish needs much more sides and a better selection at that. It came on a bed of wet, oily French fries and was all mushy. It was an imbalanced meal considering the size of the Ahi; I would have loved to see it with fresh greens/vegetables or mashed potatoes. If fries are the way to go, they should have been separated or deep fried crispy instead of soaked in oil.

6 of us. All loved it! Ordered 3 appetizers to please all pallets. My favorite was the artichoke one. Our entrees were fantastic! I don’t eat steak often. I only want the best when I do. Having been to Daniel’s before, I knew what I was getting. Filet Mignon. Makes me want to make satisfied noises like I did as a child. Great safety. Great service.
