The waitress said there was a change in ownership. They were out of everything. Service not great. Waitress clearly unhappy with the situation - must have put her in a bad position.

These were the first words our of our server's mouth. The 6 beers we don't have and a list of all the appetizers we don't have today. We have reservations on a Monday for dinner and got there early to enjoy some happy hour specials. It wasn't busy at all during our visit. When we ordered the meat and cheese plate and told you were out of meat. Overall, I don't think I will be headed back.

In town for a wedding and looking for something walking distance from our hotel. Found way above average pub food (no grease) and a nice cozy dark wood pub atmosphere. Nicely priced and friendly competent service.

The food, atmosphere, noise level, and speed of service were fantastic. The service from our server was cold and withdrawn, as if they had too many tables. Yet, there weren't many tables full. In fact, the host/manager was more friendly.

Great spot, great food, at a great price. Nice atmosphere. You can actually have good conversation, even in a group setting. Staff is very friendly.

We went downtown for dinner and a show on 2/13. Not even thinking about it being the night before Valentine's Day, we didn't make reservations. We went to the normal places on Hennepin and they all had waits that were too long for us to make it to the show. We checked out Open Table for available seating and Dan Kelly's popped up. It was a pleasant surprise, great drinks, great food and great service! Well worth the walk in the freezing cold!

The turkey burger was excellent, chicken wild rice soup was very very good and the apples radish salad was delightful

We have been going to Dan Kelly's for 7 years. It's been a favorite neighborhood spot that is always welcoming and comfortable. This past year they shut down to remodel and developed a new menu. We've had the Colcannon - supurb; the fish and chips - always a favorite; the steak salad - a real treat that's tasty but not heavy; the Bangers and mash - reliable; the wild rice soup - exceptional and more recetnly the chicken pot pie - comfort food at it's best! And the drinks are well made. Great selection of whiskey to boot. All at reasonable prices for a downtown establishment.

In town on business and wanted something close to our hotel. We decide on Dan Kelly's as it was within walking distance. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu is decent comfort food. The Poutine alone was worth the trip!
