We were met by a very charming waiter who knew the menu and was informative however my starter of pasta and seafood was a little modest in terms of the seafood and it just didn’t taste all that nice, still I was looking forward to the polpo which I often have in Puglia and this was the next course. The pasta with my primo was delicious and very well cooked but the seafood and lack of any discernible seasoning / flavour let it down. The polpo came on two skewers and everyone knows you cook octopus briefly or long and slow otherwise you get rubber. I got rubber. There is no excuse for this and this should not have come out of the kitchen. When the waiter collected the plate he could see that I only had eaten one piece and attempted but abandoned another chewy piece. I told him it was chewy and hen did offer to give me something else but I didn’t want anything else by this stage. I was very surprised when the bill came and it was still on it despite him not offering to take it off anyway, surely an inedible plate of food which I could not actually eat and is charged at a bit inconsiderable £38 should have been removed from the bill. I understand they are an independent and have not been opened too long but this is very poor, poor cooking and poor customer service. I don’t often say this but I won’t be back, I’ll stick to Leo’s on Chatsworth Rd and Trullo.

The best Italian in London and generally one of the best restaurants in town. Everything from quality of food & drinks, interiors, service and ambience is just perfect. 2nd time and only gets better.

Amazing food, excellent recommendations from the staff. We had originally booked for earlier I. The evening but rang to cancel as our train had been seriously delayed so we would’ve missed the original time. The person we spoke too was excellent, cancelled the reservation without charge as they could see we were genuinely gutted about not being able to make it. Fortunately we managed to get a different train and there was one reservation for 9:15 available so we took it and it was well worth it. Not only was what we ordered incredible but the waiter also bought us out an extra dish to try. Could not praise it enough.

Great Italian restaurant that serves real Italian seasonal food in London. One of the best in London for me as the vibe and dishes make you feel you’re in Italy. Happy to see that the chef prepares also less-known dishes of the Italian cuisine.
