This traditional Italian restaurant, reputed as 'a village restaurant in the heart of London', prides itself on its 'family run' feel yet maintains an air of professionalism when it comes to the service and the authenticity of the food. The décor creates an intimate ambience with antique furniture and pictures making it an ideal business venue at lunch and perfect for a romantic dinner a deux by night. Patrons who can be found here are a host of regulars, celebrities, tourists on the trail to and from the nearby British Museum and theatre luvvies. Menu highlights include châteaubriand, pappardelle with duck breast sauce, and linguine with seafood. I booked this for my colleagues to treat our guest speaker to a nice lunch at a nearby venue to our Charlotte Street office. They all really enjoyed the food, said it was a buzzy atmosphere and they had great service. We would highly recommend for a group work lunch or dinner.

Although the setting is absolutely charming and peaceful (far from the shouts of kids and the hubbub of the city) and the staff are very friendly, the food is not good. The cuisine is not at all refined, the proportions are enormous, made for German or American tourists, and the tastes are not there. It's a shame, because the neighborhood is great, but the Italian cuisine is not highlighted at all.

We enjoyed our evening at Da Paolo very much. The intimate atmosphere and delicious, generous portions were much appreciated after a day of walking and sightseeing around London/Soho neighborhoods.

We enjoyed our meal at Da Paolo. The cosy restaurant is warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were excellent. When in London again this will be our first stop.

We went for a meal before going to the theatre The food was lovely but expensive So were the cocktails and wine Friendly staff but can’t say I’d rush back

Popped in for a few drinks,bit expensive but that’s London,nice place very stylish ,quiet on a Sunday but nice feel

Great food just felt little bit claustrophobic due to restaurant being busy. Imagine better in summer as you can sit outside. Not ideal for business meetings but still excellent food.
