Small plates, big prices… very long wait for food and had to ask bartender for next drinks and utensils…. Forget asking for salt and pepper. I wanted to just serve myself. Yes food is good …. As it should be but nothing special.

However there’s great room for improvement. With 6pm reservations we didn’t leave until after 9. Luckily we had a great group & enjoyed each other’s company. While apps came out right away, our entrees took an hour to appear. On top of that, we were extremely surprised & disappointed that lamb chop entree(4) was $60. Shame on us for not asking, shame on the server for not mentioning the entree was 2-3 times more than all of our other entrees.
The service was horrible. I had to get my own utensils. Then the waitress lied about adding an automatic 20% tip as if I didn’t know how to properly tip for GOOD service. I’ll never go back again.
Despite a very busy Friday night, our service was very good and the food excellent as usual. Two successively large and noisy parties were in the rear of the restaurant and it got sooo loud one could hardly converse. Even the wait staff was wincing. Not sure what the management could have done- but it was unfortunate.
Always impressed with the quality and looks of our food. Our waitress was very very nice, genuine and helpful. As we entered, we were wondering about the staff's lack of face masks, but the restaurant was large and not crowded at that time, so we felt comfortable. We'll definitely return and recommend Cypriana to friends!

My wife and I had the opportunity to dine at Cyprianas last night. I can say the food and service were amazing! I remember when they had a location in Baltimore, early 90’s! It was great then and still today! We highly recommend!

We were there for Mezze Monday. We enjoyed being able to try many different dishes. Our server told us that each dish ordered would be portioned so that each person in our party (4) would be able to try each dish - this was not accurate and messed up our first round of ordering. We are all regulars at Cypriana - most of the dishes that we ordered were basically the same preparation as when we go on a regular night. Some though, specifically the Greek salad and the hummus, were really a disappointment compared to their outstanding presentation regularly. We enjoyed the Mezze menu - and will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend!
Amazing! My new favorite restaurant in Baltimore
Delicious food, very friendly and helpful servers! They allowed us to select a table away from others -addressing our desire to keep social distance and were responsive to our request to lower music volume (we were sitting in the general bar area). Our dinner companions were eager to return!
When we arrived the hostess told us that the dining room was closed because of staffing shortages. We had travelled 75 miles and were not happy that neither the restaurant staff or Open Table advised of the situation. After some amount of fussing, we were seated at a barebones table and the cheerful bartender became our server.The evening was saved by a superb dinner -- kudos to Chef Maria! Open Table needs a mechanism to monitor what is becoming a widespread issue of staffing shortages.

We enjoyed our meal. There were some glitches with service like us getting our appetizers but not having plates or serving pieces. This was quickly addressed amd in a pleasant manner. There seems to be a lot of new, younger servers and I know this restaurant will work to get them trained. One server mentioned that they lost many of their staff after the summer return to school so that may be some of it. As always great food, lovely atmosphere and lots of nice wines.
I cannot recommend this place enough! I took my family here for a celebration, and I was mesmerized at just how perfect everything was. The food was extraordinary-- it was so unbelievably fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned as well. The outdoor seating was beautiful (especially once it got dark and the turned on the umbrella lights). And, most importantly, our waitress Kenya was not only remarkable, but also extremely kind and attentive even while dealing with many other tables. We will definitely come again!!
Kenya was our server and even though she had the entire patio to wait on she took her time with us and her recommendations were spot on.
Took over an hour to get appetizers, while everyone else around us had gotten their food and another 45 minutes to get entrees. Waitress kept saying she would check on our order, but she had so many tables, she never got into the kitchen to find out what had happened to our food. Ticket apparently got messed up. Been to the restaurant before and always had a good experience. If they don't have staff, don't just keep seating people.

We had an exquisite meal for 4. Our first course was a shared hummus plate made from fresh chickpeas, the best olive oil, just the right amount of garlic, and artistically presented with piping hot brick oven flat bread brushed with fresh melted butter. As wonderful as that was, each course was even better than the last. Our main course was Fresh branzoni, and veal steak- both dressed in fresh herbs from the garden, and both of which came with famously delicious tabouli and lemon potatoes. The dessert was fabulous as well, and we were very satisfied for having had a special evening with great friends and fabulous food. I highly recommend Cypriana for a special occasion where you wish to create memories.
Enrique, our server, was amazing. Very knowledgable, great suggestions & very personable. We sat outside on a cold evening and when we asked the hostess to move inside she said that wasn't possible & that she'd have to speak to the manager. She said they were short staffed, which we understood. However, we saw another table move inside. Since it's getting cooler, maybe investing in heat lamps would make it more comfortable to sit outdoors. Aside from that, the food is always very fresh and delicious. A bit pricey overall, but definitely great quality and tasty.
The food was amazing and the entire experience lifted me spiritually. Sometimes the right nourishment helps cleanse the soul. The food though…AMAZING!

Disappointed that they wouldn’t seat me without entire party, while rest were parking. Delicious cocktails. Wonderful food. Superior server. Owner came over, recognizing that we must be from out of town. Looking forward to next visit!
It was our first time at Cypriana, and it was fantastic. We got a large Greek salad, a salad sampler and these little meatballs that were fried, it starts with a K. We were kinda full after that, but I want to go back to try the grilled octopus and the kbob and the hummus… basically the whole menu. Today I had a reservation somewhere else and I almost switched it so I could go back; it was that good.
Also the martini was good! It was the lavender & tequila

They were short staffed. There was only one waiter serving multiple tables. He was not knowledgeable about the wines and not very attentive. Our meal was almost done by the time he came out to check on us. We have been to this restaurant before and had a really good experience but this time around it was very disappointing. Not sure if we will go back.

Disfunnctional restrooms. 1. Off terrace No water to toilet. Toilet. Wouldn’t flush. 2. Men’s room off the bar. No water to wash hands. Send in a plumber.
