   They were able to get us in and everything went so smooth. The food came out super hot, and was really good, the drinks were pretty good also. I can see why people love this place. Can’t wait to go back.

   People are very pleasant, absolutely love the set up in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food is just ok. Not anything to rave over. The service was at times, made me feel rushed to leave. Even though they were not busy and it was not close to closing time. I will say the desserts are a 5 star though. My dish was curry goat, rice and peas, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese isn't the way I like it. But to each its own. Again the food was good, just not great for the price point. Not a fan of putting an automatic 20% gratuity on ALL dine-in parties no matter the party size. It really doesn't set a precedent for your servers to provide 20% service. They can provide 10 or 15 % service knowing at a baseline they will still receive 20%. If you do something like this, I would recommend doing 15%, this may be a bit more palatable with your consumers and make them tip more than the automatic, especially for outstanding service, which hopefully also incentivizes the servers to provide better service. I want to make it clear, my service was NOT bad, just not worth 20% tip.

   My favorite restaurant anywhere. Only get to go a couple times a year since we live in Pennsylvania! Always our first stop when we go to Virginia to visit family.

    Impressed with the new location. Not a fancy place but, I love the island vibes. Way more inviting than their original Battlefield location, the staff is friendly and customer focused. The food is flavorful and nicely presented. There is an 18% service charge which is an understandable industry standard…enjoy.

    Unfortunately we were seated and waited 20 -25 minutes and no one came to our table to wait in us. Others came in after us and were greeted And brought drinks while we sat there. We ended up walking out and will never be back!

    We waited 45 minutes to receive our food with a party of 3. There were only 3 other tables with larger parties and people sitting at the bar so i’m not sure what took so long. We didn’t get any updates on the reason for delay and we had two small children in our party so after waiting 45 minutes to eat they were over it and we had to leave without being able to eat the food in the restaurant.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our time and appreciated being allowed to be noisy (we were laughing so loudly… sorry) We were celebrating our friend’s historical position as 1st Black and 1st woman in such an executive position, Founding Dean of Asbury Seminary’s School of Counseling! We nearly closed out the Resturant 😊 The food was excellent! I definitely will return!

    Cutlass Grille never disappoints. I know that if I want oxtails, this is the place to go. Portions are moderate and dishes are a little pricy. But it’s worth it. The live band made for a very energetic atmosphere and I’d definitely say to make reservations on those nights. Definitely will visit again.

    The Cutlass Grill has amazing delicious West Indian dishes If you’re looking for that island vibe with tropical drinks, music and delicious food, they have it all! Owner Shaun is an excellent chef serving our favorite meals and never disappoints !

    I’m from out of state. Was very disappointed to not be able to find the restaurant after I had reservations confirmed. There were 2 different addresses online and no one answered the phone when I called. We were excited to go after we checked into our hotel so this was very disappointing after seeing the menu a week prior.
