While the food was very good the service was fair, the restaurant was busy but not bustling. we had a party of 6 - not a demanding group by any means, they forgot two peoples first courses and had to be prompted to bring them at least 8 minutes after everyone else had received theirs also one was wrong. Waitress was not attentive at all and it took us 20 minutes to get our check after we asked - we had 10 minutes to spare for an 8:00 PM show time, lucky it is so close to the venue or we would have been in trouble. Still a nice experience just lacking some fine tuning and attention. Great location to the theater.

Went to Cuisine before seeing Chicago at the Fisher. We've visited the restaurant before the theater on at least three other occasions. The restaurant was short staffed. Not only was Chicago playing at the Fisher but it was Valentine's Day weekend. We had to ask for bread and a refill. Asked for additional butter but it never arrived. Asked that our water glasses be refilled - never happened. My wife received the wrong entrée. The server has so many tables he never engaged us as to the quality of our food. Not likely to return for a while.

Overall our party of six was disappointed. The duck was very good according to my dining companions. The risotto wrapped in phyllo pastry was disappointing for my main course. Just wasn't very good. But the service was substandard. We could see the servers working hard but there weren't enough of them to service the number of tables. They served everyone else main course and forgot to bring mine. I finally had to flag someone down to ask for it. We had to flag someone down to get more water. We will not be returning any time soon.

Beautiful setting (Villeroy and Koch dishes!), cozy, welcoming, perfect service (would you like your dessert served now or do you prefer to relax a bit first?) and wonderful food! Could not have been better!

My girlfriend and I went to Cuisine for dinner before seeing Chicago at the Fisher Theater. That night they offered a special pre-show, three course, prix fixe menu that provided great options for appetizers, entrees, and desserts. This was in addition to also offering the standard a la carte menu. We both elected to order from the prix fixe menu and we both thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. We also enjoyed the wine. They have a rather extensive wine list which can be intimidating for wine novices like us but we discussed our tastes with the waitress and she made an excellent recommendation - we both ordered a second glass. The restaurant is located right across from the Fisher Building and affordable parking is located just a few steps down the street so it is the perfect spot to have dinner before a show. I would highly recommend Cuisine for the first half of a dinner and a show night out.

Chose this place to eat before a show at the Fisher. The food was delicious. Everyone was attentive and kept our drinks fresh. Will defiently came back here again. The price was defiently worth the food. So pleased that we chose this place!

We had never been to Cuisine before & were more than pleasantly surprised. From the greeting at the door to the service to the great food, we had a memorable evening.

Some friends and I often go to the Fisher Theater to see the show. Cuisine is directly across the street and makes things very simple for a meeting place, for dinner before the show. I have probably been to cuisine about 8-10 times in the last 3 years. The food is decent, but they really need to start expanding their selections. They offer a Prix Fix menu for show goers, which is smart because it helps them stay effecient and get people out in time for the show. However, if I see two shows between September and December, I guarantee the Prix Fix menu is almost exactly the same. That part, is a bit disappointing, I would really like to see them change it up more, it really doesn't seem to me like they do.

It was a late reservation and the dinner rush was all gone to the theater. This meant nice, quiet setting and food was meticulously prepared and delicious. Only minor downside was our server had been directed to do close up jobs for the evening, and forgot a few things for our table (water, a fresh utensil). But she was otherwise fantastic. Great dinner!
