   Found this place on social media and ended up taking a 2 hour road trip to try it out, and it was worth it! The entire staff was so nice, including the owners who came and spoke to us several times. I had their Blackberry Gin cocktail and they made my wife specialized mock-tails. The food was delicious, I had the Atlantic char, and the CAB strip which made the short list for my top steaks. My wife had 2 different pasta dishes and she loved em both, I preferred the lemon pasta dish but the other was delicious too. The atmosphere here was so fun and unique, i don’t have anything negative to say, I definitely recommend this place!

   Was expecting an Italian delight! Very small menu and not very good. Best was the bread...which you had to pay for. Chicken dish was horrible..salty and low grade. Meatball were ok. Brussel sprouts ok. pesto gnocci was decent. Risotto very bland. Overall it was no improvement from Lila Rose. Fine dining prices with low quality food. Definitely not worth it.

   What service! The owners and partners as well as wait staff were knowledgeable and charming and I love the speakeasy vibe and old school cocktails! It is a perfect spot for every generation. And THE FOOD IS DIVINE! New favorite spot in Stamford. I will be back weekly at least!

   The food was fantastic, as was the service. Loved the ambiance as well as the music. It was a little loud but cozy and comfortable. The owner was super helpful and the staff was above and beyond. Great new spot!

   Loved it; our own little Carbone in Stamford. John and Morgan are gracious hosts and the food was very good. Cocktails were interesting. Focaccia from Flour Water Salt was top notch. Pastas well executed. Will return.

   The speakeasy aesthetic was very cool but extremely dark. Food was disappointing overall, the meatball starter was good along with the bread but I wouldn't come back for the pasta. The wild boar had a fishy taste and the pesto cavatelli was extremely thick, more like a gnocchi. Drinks are wildly expensive so I wouldnt return for that either. The service was great and very accommodating so I wish I could give a better food review.

    Well worth the challenge of finding this hideaway venue to transport you to a speakeasy cocktail bar. Exceptional experience of inventive cocktails and great food topped off with attentive service. Very accommodating of multiple food allergies without compromising bold flavors. Will return.

    John and Morgan have created another must visit in Stamford. A speakeasy with a spectacular cocktail list and delicious food. Its loud and raucous but absolutely the right vibe.

    Cugine’s just opened and we were excited to try it. It’s very cool that it’s a speakeasy but also extremely dark inside. The walls are very plain and it needs some more decor. The food was really good, I had the Branzino, but my drink was not good at all. My friends enjoyed their dinner as well but also didn’t love the drinks. The drink menu was definitely different.

    A bit of a rough start, slow to take drink orders and food orders, my entree didn't come out well but they comped it and brought a new entree quickly and it was delicious. All the food was incredible. Cocktails were fantastic. Went the first night they opened, so I don't really take any of their mistakes seriously it always takes a few months to get their rhythm. I'm expecting great things from them in the future.

    Brunch was absolutely delicious. We got several plates and they all came out hot, flavors were so diverse and creative. Love this spot.
