Excellent service, we were greeted, felt welcome. The outside patio is gorgeous, warm and spaced out. We had amazing Branzino and the bread is to die for. Thanks for doing such a great job during Covid.
Great food, great service. Staffing was just a bit thin (not too many working) but that is understandable since we are still in shelter in place.
Great experience in the restaurant and the food wow excellent
Simply Awesome ! Food was great, Ambience was even better, service was good and fast. Overall highly recommended.
I’ve been to Cucina Venti several times and they always provide a high-quality experience. The food is tasty and fresh, elegant without being pretentious. The menu has a good variety of dishes without being overwhelming.
The cocktails are one of the more surprising upsides of this venue. Not a huge cocktail menu but they serve subtle riffs on the classics to perfection. Nothing like having a cool Bees Knees on a warm day out on their back patio.
And speaking of that patio, it received some major upgrades recently with a beautiful tent and stylish heaters for dining in less than ideal weather. It’s a good size open space with enough tables to feel like you are dining with a good crowd but not packed together.
Service is friendly and prompt, a nice middle ground where you aren’t left feeling like you are being rushed or forgotten about.
I’ll definitely being heading back to Cucina again soon.
Food and service was really good. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic. It was a night to remember!
We had an amazing time at your place, it was our first visit. The food was incredible, service was great.
The food and service was and service was amazing. The servers were really fast. Ambience is too good for both lunch and dinner. Bartender was really sweet with suggesting drinks.
Best Old Fashion and best service!!
We celebrate Valentine’s Day
Despite pandemic, Cucina Venti still offered the same kind of services. Food was great, outdoor dining was comfortable and the servers were very accommodating. I will definitely go back!
In this time of pandemic, I think Cucina Venti is one of the best adaptations of limited outdoor space into ambient and safe seating. Some places have tent pavilions setup in such a way as to be pointless: the enclosed tarp walls just trap germs. Cucina Venti has done sections to protect parties from each other with good quality tarp walls, while still allowing ventilation to prevent the spread of the virus. The tasteful ambience of the firepit and what amounts to "dining suites" is both creative and comforting.
My only "criticism" is that our section could have used more propane heaters for comfort. Although I'm not sure how the servers could walk by if so.
Another thing worth mentioning: The indoor dining is kept in "ready to serve" condition. Aside from people not being allowed to sit in it, it is clean and dusted and setup as if just waiting for indoor dining to be allowed. Lots of places have turned their indoor dining rooms into food prep and staging areas, which may be practical but certainly isn't inviting to nervous clientele who've been sheltering at home.
The staff was also in good spirits: pleasant and inviting.
I'm quite appreciative.
Despite the pandemic situation they did a very good job in arranging their back outdoor area for some very nice outdoor dining. The servers and the overall service was excellent! Unfortunately the food did not equal up to the level of service in the ambience of the restaurant.
My date loved it! The service was amazing and you must try the creme brûlée!
Get together with daughters. Great food. Respectful staff. A very pleasant experience.
Was very good
Good food, cordial staff.
Another solid meal with quality serving staff! Thank you
Good Ambience and service. Zucchini cakes were good. I ordered Seafood Paella which was little bland. Mushroom flatbread was okay.
Outdoor dining in the time of COVID. It’s different, of course, but simply a way to block out street noise, especially near the freeway is something that can be partially mitigated. Food was superb and although you missed out on trying to make the night extra special (it was our anniversary after all), the night out was worth it
Family favorite - we come here for our post-Sunday walk.
Fabulous restaurant...one of my favorites in the South Bay Area. Consistently excellent in both food quality and service. Also...the menu is varied and never boring. Highly recommend!
Delicious food, good service. I recommend the salads. I don't find salads so delicious anywhere in this area. The flatbreads are awesome.
Fettuccine duck confit is yummy. Seafood paella has abundant seafood but relatively little rice & too much sauce. Service is very attentive & restaurant decor is nice. Worth the money!
Loved the restaurant's ambiance and staff. The food was delicious. My only minor criticism was that they charge a $35 corkage fee which was not listed on the menu. I've never paid more than $25 for a corkage fee anywhere, so $35 was a bit of sticker shock. Other than that, no complaints.
We come to Cucina Venti every couple of weeks. The food is always excellent and the service exceptional. John is an amazing waiter! Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive (not smothering) and lots of fun!
Drinks are awesome! Natasha makes one of the best Old Fashioned cocktails in the Bay Area.
My wife and I always feel like family--and we love the patio area.
Only negative is that the coffee/espresso machine has not been working for the past two months!! What!?!? Very disappointing not to be able to have a nice cup of coffee or cappuccino to finish off an excellent meal.
5 stars for food, drinks and service. 0 stars for the lack of coffee. Make a reservation now! You'll be glad you did!!
Great food, service, and ambiance. I would give it 5 stars, if they had a better wine list :)
I'm happy to keep coming back here and find that the things I love about it are still intact! It has now become a Sunday ritual for my family.
Best everything, ambience, foods, service and value. We look forward to returning each time we visit the Bay Area in the future. Emma was a great server
Emma/Dominico paired as our excellent hosts. My guy had Duck confit with mushrooms - he ate every delicious bite. I had the lasagna, baked with just the right amount of cheese and spice. Well done! We’ll be back!
This is my 2nd meal at this restaurant and this time I had the shortrib lunch and it was fabulous
The food was excellent. Mushroom Raviolis were best we have ever eaten. The beat salad and pasta were great too.
This was our first time at this restaurant, and it was fantastic. John was our waiter. He was so nice and attentive. Our food was piping hot and delicious. I had the chocolate cake for dessert which was out of this world. We will definitely be coming back to this charming restaurant!
Absolutely lovely lunch experience. I had the Covina Mediterranean salad and it was outstanding
We shared a Mediterranean Sea bass dish and the Ceasar salad. The sea bass was fresh and the salad was no soggy but crunchy. They also have Illy coffee.
The food in general is pretty good. But the Tiramisu is really disappointing. It’s not authentic at all, and the flavor is not that good either. But other than the dessert, everything else that we ordered is great! The fried calamari is really tasty, and we also ordered duck confit pasta which is fantastic.
Lovely outdoor patio with little road noise and good social distancing. The food was very good, but a bit pricey for lunch. The service was excellent. I look forward to returning for the wonderful octopus salad!
My second time here was amazing! Easily one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Bay Area. Amazing service, great food.
Oct. 9, Friday, was my dad’s day of remembrance, his first death anniversary. Since the Covid 19 pandemic lockdown, last night was my first time to see my siblings, in laws, nephews and my mom and our family’s first time to dine together. Appreciate the staff of Cucina Venti and our server, Eduardo, for the excellent service and outdoor ambiance that my family experienced. Of course, the food were deliciously prepared. We adhered to CDC guidelines as well. Thank you very much and I give ten stars to Cucina Venti!
Fabulous! Beautiful place with delicious food. I fall in love with this restaurant from the first glance and already added to my list of the favorites restaurants. Only one problem - too far from my home. Looking forward to coming back again and bringh my family and friends.
