The food and service was outstanding! The restaurant is beautiful
This is one of the best restaurant in Mountain view. I really enjoy this place the food is fantastic.
Second time here and it was delightful. Good food. Although the outer location in a strip mall is not enticing, the interior makes up for it with a warm, inviting feeling. Good food. Wine menu was a bit lacking since several they were out of several choices. We wanted to take our time and were not rushed at all. Will be back.
We had a wonderful meal. The pastas were flavorful and beautifully presented. The salad was wonderful and the zucchini appetizer was outstanding.
The Host was so bad he ruined the dinner for us. He was rude, did not seat us properly at the table. Was not polite to the lady in the group. He then took the menu from us as we were enjoying our appetizer, before he had a chance to order our entree. Then he had a huge attitude and mocked us when we told him we still needed the menus to order. The waiter had to step in and showed him away while apologized on his behalf.
Love the ambiance, music track, atmosphere, food and service so we made a second visit in a week. But tonight was disappointing. I ordered the chicken and sausage patella. The menu didn't mention the sausage was spicy hot. It was so HOT that I couldn't enjoy it at all. The sausage made the rest of the dish spicy hot as well and the chicken was a bit dry. I just couldn't eat it. Mentioned it to our waiter, he said that's how it is. We were going to a movie right after so I ended up having their pizza bread for dinner. Wished I had ordered another dish. We still like the restaurant and will return on our next visits but will avoid that dish.
We had a wonderful dinner here. Everything and everyone was wonderful. It is now one of our favorite restaurants in Mountain View. Thanks to Open Table reviews! We will visit each trip we make here in the future.
Excellent service from the minute we walked thru the door. Warm reception, attentive servers, excellent wine choices, tasty and colorful meals, and many comfortable nooks for private conversations.
Very good service. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Food was excellent and wine choices varied enough for all palates.
Highly recommend fettuccini with duck confit. Great ambiance. Romantic setting. Perfect except wines by the glass way overpriced.
The food was delicious as always and the service was great! Couldn't ask for more.
One of my favorite restaurants in the SF Bay Area (and that’s saying a lot as there are so many great restaurants).
Today I tried a new dish (Fettuccine with Duck Confit) and it was amazing! My “go to dish” is paella but almost everything on the menu is delicious. My only disappointment over the many years I e been going to the restaurant is the Bocce Balls ( IMO the are the same consistency as real bocce balls).
Service is always attentive and friendly.
A real find!
The drink menu was fun! A lot of unusual ones. We were going to see a movie so let our waiter know. He was great about getting completed in a timely manner. The only thing that was a little disappointing was I ordered the scallops, which were amazing, BUT they were tiny and there were only 4. If it had been the larger ones, 4 would have been good. But since they were smaller, it should have been 6 of them.
Yummy food. Good service. Great place for pre- or post-movie deliciousness.
Went for lunch before a matinee at the Pear nearby....great luncheon!
This is my go to place for Dinner when I go for a movie & dinner and I go to the Century 16/Cinemark theater in Mountain View. Great food, not noisey, great service, nice ambiance. Great location for this combo.
A very good dining experience, overall. Large selection of appetizers, flatbreads, and entrees, including several seafood options. Service was adequate, but could have been more attentive (e.g., we had to ask twice to have our water glasses refilled).
The saffron sea bass was amazing, and the service was supportive.
Simply the best restaurant in Mountain View. I highly recommend this place.
Delicious and romantic date night! We were celebrating our last date as a couple before the birth of our first child. Everything was absolutely delicious, and they gave us a free dessert for the occasion!
Cucina Venti is a great neighborhood restaurant near the Mountain View theaters. It's great when you want a very good dinner before a movie and you don't want theater food. Flatbread with arugula and prosciutto was delish! We'll definitely come back to Cucina Venti.
What kept me from rating a 5 star was that the fish, for all who ordered, was over cooked-too bad because everything else was outstanding -we had a party of 6 and 3 ordered a fish entree-sea bass and halibut-it was almost too dry to enjoy. All of the other dishes were enjoyed and dessert/cappuccinos were excellent!! All dishes were presented nicely and were a feast for the eyes.
Food was excellent, service was very good
Gourmet food, quiet environment, good service but very expensive. We would do it again in a year for our next anniversary.
Excellent, fresh, food. Great service! We went before concert at Shoreline down the street and asked to be served fast. they certainly complied. Ordered full entrees, salad etc., had everything within 15 minutes. Fresh fish, good salads, cant say enough....will be back!
Great food great service. We liked everything including the desert
My husband and I had reservations prior to a concert at Shoreline. Our server was great. Food was fantastic. Cocktails were refreshing. We will definitely be back.
Bread is $$
Nice food, quite ambience, helpful severs and front desk
Our waiter had a thick italian accent. He was very hurried, pushy, and he didnt listen when we ordered. We ended up with the wrong appetizer, but ate it without saying anything.
A great find, family friendly, great food, and ambiance.
When we go to a concert at Shoreline, we love to eat here. Food is excellent, this time we had lamb chops and saffron sea bass. CV did not disappoint! However, when it's packed with diners inside and on the patio, there are ALWAYS lines at the bathrooms. There are two total, but each has ONLY one toilet. I felt so sorry for the diners whose table is closest to the line of anxious guests. Somehow VC must enlarge their restrooms! Otherwise, food was excellent, timely, with great service.
Overall great experience except the noise and discombobulated table arrangement the annoyed us enough to move inside
Great waiter though and great food
The wait service was very professional. The ambience was tasteful. The environment was quiet. Most importantly, the food was delicious. My filet had a wood-fired tasting char on the outside and medium-rare on the inside as I ordered. My wife's short ribs were excellent tasting, although slightly on the fatty side, and the polenta accompanying it was good. Our dinner companions enjoyed their seafood paella and saffron sea bass. For dessert, we shared Affogato, which was clearly made with real espresso and was an excellent finish. We lingered for a long time afterward talking and were never made to feel like we had to leave. They easily accommodated our guide dog. Reservations were easy to come by , probably because it is not located in the downtown area of Mountain View. The only drawback is that the prices are a bit steep, but with the experience we had that's not a big drawback.
Not memorable, unfortunately the bar tender wasn't available during the lunch hour.
We have come to Cucina Venti for years and it seems to get better as time goes by. They have recently really upped their game in the food presentation. Their flavors and good sized portions are awesome. They serve really tasty food. We have never had a bad dish and they happily adapt dishes to your dietary needs or preferences. Service excellent. The ambience is great in the interior - lush and comfortable. Strip-mall, parking lot-facing "improvised" seating outdoors, so not really a feature. This place is arranged so larger groups can be seated together. They serve quickly so if you have to run to the movie theatres nearby, no problem. Arrive at 5:30pm and still make the 7pm show.
Excellent Italian restaurant. The food is always good. Pasta is great. Love the bread. Unpreposessing location in a strip mall but cute inside.
I think our waiters name was Luke and he was fantastic. He was great at his job...just friendly enough, but not disruptive; no mistakes, brought us everything in a timely manner. Remembered all the orders without writing them down. Overall excellent. We ordered pasta dishes and they were incredible. The wine was excellent, if a bit pricey.
Made my stomach hurt/made me feel ill for the rest of the afternoon. The food itself was decent but not worth the issues afterward.
This is our go-to restaurant before the movies, but also a nice elegant but unstuffy place for a dinner date. The food is always delicious and it has a happy vibe while still being sufficiently quiet to carry on a conversation.
