Made my stomach hurt/made me feel ill for the rest of the afternoon. The food itself was decent but not worth the issues afterward.
This is our go-to restaurant before the movies, but also a nice elegant but unstuffy place for a dinner date. The food is always delicious and it has a happy vibe while still being sufficiently quiet to carry on a conversation.
Food was delicious!! If you have not been, you need to go!!
I wasn’t expecting much although the menu spoke to me. We just wanted to grab a quick bite before a movie at the Mountain View cinemark. It worked perfectly Re: proximity. But the traffic at this time of day, & with a show at Shoreline, was horrendous. Would return if in the area again. Good service!
The manager opened the wine and visited . The wine was very good
The food and ambiance were fantastic. This was our first time here. We will be back.
Menu was delightful. Fish tasted fishy. Carpaccio salad a bit salty. Delicious seafood linguine pasta (spicy). Great ambiance. Great service.
Overpriced food with a staff clearly overwhelmed. Mushroom ravioli for $30? And dime store bread.
The service was wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable & professional.
The wine prices were the only thing that stopped you from a 5 star. They are an Outrage!
Santa Marg. Pinot Grigio at that price, as soon as I saw that I knew any decent wine would be beyond redic!
Arturo, our server was great and very attentive. Having a great server can make or break a great experience and Arturo did not disappoint.
We had a wonderful time with a group of 6 for a mid-week lunch. The roasted octopus appetizer was simple and delicious! We will definitely return!
It is an awesome place to enjoy some food before a concert at Shoreline and then walk to the venue
loved the food and wine selection. It was nice and quite on Saturday evening without any loud groups so ideal for date night.
They’ve upped their food game since we were here a few years ago. All the apps and entrees were top notch. But the service was spotty. We didn’t get plates for our appetizers and ate the burrata and calamari off the platter. We would have loved to stay for coffee and dessert but our server vanished and eventually I had to go to the hostess to get our check so we could move in to our next event. A little more attention to details and this place would be awesome. I love the warm, elegant space they’ve created in an unassuming strip mall.
Cucina Venti is one of our “go to” restaurants in Mountain View. The food is always good and the service is friendly and attentive.
We felt the prices were too high for what you got. The procuitto flatbread was really good though. The cheese plate was terrible, bad selection of cheeses;-(
Friendly service. Good food quality. We sat outside as the indoor area seemed a bit loud. But it was not too bad. If outdoor seating was not available we would have been able to handle the indoor noise easily. It is pricy but comparable to similar restaurants in the Bay Area.
Loved the salmon ciabatta sandwich! Excellent, would recommend it.
My team said that the dinner was amazing. They very much appreciated the short distance from the Googleplex to the restaurant, the outside seating opportunity, the meal, service, a real nice place to go.
I've been to Cucina Venti several times, at night and during the day. I particularly enjoy having lunch outside on their pretty patio - the inside is a little dark for daytime to my taste. The food is very good and the service excellent. Excellent choice to dine/have lunch before or after a movie!
Excellent Cuisine! Just delicious! The only thing that was a shame was there was a hair in my husband’s food and all they did was bring him another one, no discount, no comped dessert or wine.....We did not make a fuss, as we are classy people. To be fair, they did quickly bring another hair free dish. We do think that, if there is a hair in someone’s food, some type of compensation should be in order.
When we first pulled up, I was a little disappointed that the restaurant was in a strip-mall. Then, when we walked inside, it was like we were in a different world! Beautiful walnut wood EVERYWHERE and a beautiful garden patio which we enjoyed on a wonderfully warm late afternoon/evening before going to a concert at Shoreline. The food was wonderful and the service was great. The only thing I would complain about would be that the server was a bit over loaded with too many tables to be able to accommodate. Luckily, we weren't in a rush so it was no problem for us but it would have been if we were running late. Delightful overall and such a nice surprise on the decor!!
Early dinner prior to a movie. Service was fabulous and very thoughtful. Delicious food!
Went with my whole family, pre-movie. Loved iT! Great food! Great waiter!
We always feel so special dining here. We have been here 3 times, and it is a favorite! The grilled calamari is fantastic. We order multiple entrees because the flavors are so spectacular. Their scallops and paella are off the hook.
Great atmosphere and good food!
My caprese panini was delicious, as was the calamari appetizer and aioli sauce. The Chilean sauvignon blanc was an excellent pairing.
The service was annoying. I appreciate a discreet server who is there when you need him, not in your face interrupting our conversation 15 times asking you if you need anything!
The food was ok. “Sizzling” shrimps were kind of room temperature. The beets salad was ok. The entrees (scallops and sea bass) were good.
Let’s say the previous experience a few months back was much better.
This was our first visit at Cucina Vinti and we came with the wife and daughter for a Mother's Day dinner. We made the reservation through Open Table and arrived a few minutes early. Had a nice table and our Waiter was Danny. He was friendly and made us feel like old time customers. We started with a few appetizers of the Calamari and Crispy Zucchini Cakes. For Entrees we had the Seafood Paella, Braised Short Ribs and the Grilled Lamb Chops. For Dessert we had the Creme Brulee, Tiramisu and Affogato. Overall the food was outstanding not heavy on the flavoring and portions were good. Perfect without any waste or feeling hungry afterwards. Danny was very attentive to our needs even though there were other parties going on.
Overall a great dining experience and we will definitely be back to try a few of the other menu items.
I enjoy sharing the dining experience and have told others of this restaurant.
Outstanding wine list, great waiter who knew his movies, spectacular Chicken Masala, nice beet sald, cramy mushroom soup
Always good food and quick service.
Went to celebrate 2 work peeps lunch. Food and service was awesome... We had a great time.
Cucina Venti is a little piece of Italy for my family and I. I had a great time and so did both of my children, so much so that both my 14 and 12 year old along with their many friends had their birthday dinner party at Cucina Venti in October & December of 2017 respectively. The service was wonderful, very professional staff, teenage friendly and great food choices. Thank you for giving us a great experience and I will continue to dine at your restaurant.
Muy buena atención y la comida deliciosa
I came here for lunch and it was really good. I came again with my husband for a dinner date since it's near the movie theatre. The service is very good, the server was likeable and the food came quick. There was a good selection of cocktails, wine and beer. We sat on the back patio where there was sun, when it chilled off there were heaters.
The food was not the greatest this time. We had the sizzling shrimp for an app and it was tasteless, even with the hunks of garlic on top. We ate it fairly quick because we were hungry and we felt bad saying anything to the server because he was so nice. The shrimp did not come sizzling either. I am used to the sizzling shrimp at Cascal, full of flavor and comes hot and sizzling.
My husband got the scallops and he enjoyed them, although he did have to add salt. I got the lasagna in a hot cast iron pan with tons of sauce. I'm not sure that much sauce was really needed but it was good anyway. the lasagna was very hot on the edges and tasted great. However, when I got to the middle, the lasagna was cool and the cheese was barely melted. Not heated equally at all, I am wondering if it went into the microwave first?
Overall, I may try again if I am in the area. It is a very clean, well kept establishment with awesome service. However, I would not recommend this place to my friends atm based on my recent experience with the food.
Poor service. Great food.
The ambience was very appealing. The service was really nice and I really appreciate the effort the employees took to make sure that we were having a great time. The receptionist was welcoming and the food was great. I would surely recommend this to my friends. The only downside was the price.
Food was good, service was very good and it has a cozy, elegant ambiance, but it was way overpriced for the quality and portions. I didn't expect to leave hungry after paying $20+ for a simple pasta dish but I did. Not a good value overall.
