   We were a bit early and were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Very friendly staff. We ordered wine and awaited our friends. After their arrival we wee given menus to peruse and asked if we had any questions, which were quickly answered. The Calimari Fritti was rather rubbery. My Fromaggio was excellent. The pasta was fresh and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We were not rushed or constantly bothered by wait staff. It was a pleasure to dine there.

   As always, it was wonderful! The mushroom parpadelle was exceptional. I hope we see that on the menu more often!! Love that pastas are made fresh each day and that they have a gluten-free and whole wheat option most of the time. I typically dislike wheat and their’s is excellent. We are not gluten intolerant but sometimes order that one just because of how tasty it is!

   My husband and I have driven past this restaurant several times wondering if it would be a new "go to" restaurant in La Mesa. It absolutely was beyond our expectations. Service was good, my pesto lasagna with homemade pasta was outstanding, my husbands Bolognese was equally enjoyed. We will definitely return. Reasonably priced.

   Loved the fresh pasta and the arancini. Our party sampled almost all of the desserts available and we were not disappointed - the panacotta was velvety and the berry sauce was not overly sweet. It was a bit noisy on a Thursday night, but the wait staff were patient with our party and accommodated us when some of our party members were later than expected and brought an additional person. Will definitely be back.

   This is a great restaurant, owned by very nice people! Most weekday evenings it's been less busy, but this Sunday evening it was bustling! In spite of the crowd, the server did a superb job tending to our needs in a timely manner. Ours was a group of 10 people; they seated us in the back, making it easier for us to converse. Go for the fresh pasta!! Yet, all the food is deliziso!

    We love this restaurant! The service is great, prompt and the food comes out quick which is great when you have kids.
