Unfortunately our anniversary celebration was spoiled with sub par service. Our drink order was not taken 30minutes into us sitting, and it went downhill from there :(

Just a heads-up, don't try to cancel your reservations here. They will charge your card. We had a health issue arise with a family member, we were hoping to cancel our reservation, but we were informed they would fine us -- we made reservations for 3 people the night before at the bar -- so we weren't taking up critical table space. I won't make reservations here moving forward. Food was fine and service was good, but our experience was soured a bit.

We came here to celebrate a birthday. We had a couple of appetizers and two delicious entrées, although I felt that both of them were just a little bit too salty for my taste. Our waitress Shay was really wonderful and patiently answered a lot of questions. She also gave a really good overview of the truffle pasta. We gave it a try and loved it! And a surprise at the end of our meal was a panacotta with a birthday candle. I would definitely go back!

Cucciolo Osteria in Durham truly blew me away! The shrimp pasta was absolutely amazing—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and rich without being too heavy. Every bite was a dream! The service was just as impressive—impeccable from start to finish, with a team that was attentive, warm, and made us feel so welcomed. And let’s not forget the cocktails—so refreshing and well-balanced. This place knows how to deliver an exceptional dining experience. Can’t wait to come back!

The pastas and the steak are phenomenal. Love that I can nearly always get a seat at the bar. Also really enjoyed the beet salad!

Kitchen didn’t keep up with the order, meal for both of us arrived piecemeal. The salad was way over dressed - more dressing than lettuce. The bread was stale. My pasta dish was bland, and I was never offered grated cheese for the top. Prices were high. Probably would not go back.
