    Had seats at the bar which we love. Restaurant was full and lively. Service was good. We enjoyed our meals….shared the Polpette to start. Great flavor. My husband had the vongale and I the spicy vodka rigatoni. Flavor of both really good. Only complaint is that while my husbands meal was steaming hot, mine was like warm so a bit disappointing

    My wife ordered the special of the day which was pan seared Halibut. The halibut portion was good but it was over cooked, very tough and dry. Halibut can be difficult to cook but we just cooked it a week ago at home and it turned out very good. The dish that we were served actually looked like it spent some time in the oven. A pan seared would have had a crust and been moist. The wait staff asked if we wanted it replaced and at that time my wife said no. When the bill come out only 20% of the $46 dollar dish was discounted. Most high-end restaurants would not have billed us, think of The Bear. We have eaten here in the past and have enjoyed it tremendously. However, we will be hard pressed to return anytime soon. I would recommend sticking to the pasta dishes and not the fish dishes as the pasta that I had was very good.

    Absolutely the best restaurant in Durham! Food is incredible and service is unparalleled! Karl the bartender is beyond amazing and helpful , Betsy's so professional and awesome with service and suggestions! The host at the front door always remembers us and greets us in such a kind, positive way We live in a France now but anytime we are in North Carolina , no matter how far away, we will be here
