   Our server was great and understanding. It may have been the owner, but he was very loud and easily interrupted conversation. The food was just ok. I had to send back my appetizer and my main dish for other dishes. Some items they really missed the mark on. I would recommend taste testing the food before sending it out. I wish this was better, because the potential is there.

   Service was very slow, our server kept forgetting drinks we ordered, steak & eggs came out but eggs nowhere to be found, some pieces of steak were completely raw and not edible. Maybe it was the holiday (Mother’s Day) but it was not a good dining experience at all. I won’t be returning. Not every restaurant should offer a Mother’s Day brunch, and this is probably one of them, which is totally okay.

   Went for Mother’s Day brunch. To be fair not their normal menu. Food was horrible. Seemed like food was sitting around. Had to ask for salt and pepper shakers since avocado toast was bland. Poached eggs served on most dishes and were hard. Servers were standing around staring instead of helping tables. Bar tenders kept touching their hair, playing around with cups while bored then made drinks with same glasses they were playing with. Won’t be going back for a special occasion.

   I hate to write a negative review but this visit was overall poor. Food and ambience were outstanding but service was poor. They must have been short staffed but likely won’t visit there again anytime Soon.

   I'm disappointed that I have to write this review, but our experience at Cru this weekend was horrible. We had a reservation and when we checked in numerous tables were open, but we were told there would be a wait, when we were finally sat down it took 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. After we ordered drinks and appetizers we waited another 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive - some of the appetizers actually showed up first. We were told that new ownership had taken over 40 days ago due to poor service, but that they also had poor service - really bizarre. I ordered a white wine flight and all of the wine was warm, no one came over to check on us so I was never able to give feedback. It seemed that they are very under staffed, but when you look around the restaurant, the servers and managers that were there were still not trying to provide good service/were hardly ever visible - numerous tables sat for 20-30 minutes without being greeted or given drinks, but no servers were in sight. The bartender had a full bar, but barely paid attention to the majority of the guests. We ended up not ordering dinner and went to Superica instead who were short staffed as well, but had much better service. It would be a very hard sell to get me to go back to Cru again which is disappointing because they have a great wine menu.

   We had a great experience on a very packed night. Devin and his team took very attentive care of us and made sure they found space for us even when they were slammed. Great wines, amazing appetizers. We’ll be back again very soon!

   Portions were small…. Beet salad should have had some arugula. Calamari portion small

   We had a reservation but when we arrived they told us they didn't have any tables. When I told them we had a reservation, the hostess reiterated that they didn't have anywhere to seat us, said "I don't know what to tell you", and indicated we could sit at the bar or leave. There was actually a table set and ready to be used. When I pointed it out, she sat us there. Service was slow. Wine was good. Food was okay.

    Food was great. Love the cheese options and the goat cheese beignets were very unique (we had them as a desert), made the night. You could tell they are still trying to figure out service. We were there early enough that it wasn’t too slow, until the end, but I could see frustration building in some of patrons that came in later. Wine selection is ok, not fantastic, but I love the idea of flights. We had a lot of fun trying 9 different bottles.
