Crispin is an all day restaurant & wine bar in Spitalfields serving seasonal sharing plates, low intervention wines & cocktails.

Our chefs are led by the talented Lewis de Haas (ex Petersham Nurseries & The Shed). They deliver a European inspired menu, using locally & sustainably sourced ingredients from independent growers, small-scale farms & producers (think seasonal croquettes, organic British vegetables, sustainable seafood, classic cuts). We also have a natural wine list, bottle shop & wine club curated by our Head of Wine Alexandra Price, where we focus on natural wines using indigenous & rare grape varieties.

The glass & zinc pavilion is located on White’s Row, Spitalfields, on the junction with Crispin Street. We have seating for 40 inside in view of our open-kitchen & 20 on our garden terrace.

I’ve been here before and loved it, so I brought a friend who hadn’t been—and she loved it too. The food never disappoints, and the staff are always really friendly. The only downside is there’s just one toilet, which can be a bit of a wait during busy times.

Lovely meal, the food was delicious, so many enticing choices on the menu, the cocktails were fab, service great, and the outside seating was calm and comfortable. Will definitely return.

The staff were friendly however it felt like they really wanted to upsell what was already an expensive meal. Portion size was disappointing. We also didn’t realise that the wine menu was oddly priced with glass and carafe as opposed to bottle so we ended up with a £68 bottle of wine that wasn’t even that special.

Nice but overpriced for the food. We were sat beside the bathroom and there was only one so there was a queue all night. Our waiter knew the menu but wasn’t super helpful with ordering. We had to ask multiple times to order more - he was clearly busy busy with other tables. Quite shocked with the size of the plates given the price. Over 250 for 3 people definitely felt like poor value for the experience and the size of the food. Everything was fine but food didn’t feel particularly good for the price. Wouldn’t return. Pretty building though. Very loud in there.

It was perfect! Super nice ambience and very attentive and nice service! :) The food was a 12/10 - we shared lots of dishes for 4 and every single dish had incredibly great flavor + there was really fresh delicious bread. We ate for £200 (for 4) - multiple starters, mains, desserts and drinks- was the best restaurant we've been to in London. Do yourself a favor and go there. :)
