   The food is fantastic especially their steaks. Their mozzarella sticks are satisfyingly the right size and wonderfully ooey gooey; however, as much as i like that the batter is crispy but not rock hard, i wish they would put more seasoning in the batter. Their salads are fresh, and my husband says they have the best blue cheese dressing. He’s right it’s not heavy handed with the blue cheese. I want a slight flavor of blue cheese so that i enjoy the splash of the greens! Tht roll is wonderful and so is the baked potatoe. The servers are great; sometimes they seem to be working as a team. Matteo was terrific bringing whatever we requested!! And we celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary ( do we got the roman candle sparkler chocolate cakew/ ice cream and whipped cream and snappy happy b’day song! Cripple Creek is an awesome place to celebrate! Great evening!!

   We were seated promptly and got our drinks and appetizers in a timely manner. The food was really good overall. The wait time for the main course was a bit on the longer time. The waiter was very good but it tends to get pretty busy there and so the wait staff have too many customers to tend to better.

    For its price, the bone-in ribeye was a huge letdown. My wife’s Mahi Mahi was over cooked and tough to the point she needed a knife to cut it. The salads looked like they came from a Pizza Hut salad bar. If you want a good steak in Del Rio, you’re SOL. If you want an okay steak, go to Chilis and not to this disgrace.

    Was in town for the weekend and made reservations here to celebrate with our son for his birthday. The steaks were great, cooked perfectly and my sweet potato was so good. They had some cute decorations for NYE too!

    This reservation I made to celebrate my wife’s 70th birthday. Excellent service, very quick to receive before dinner drinks, meals served in a very timely manner, very well prepared meals. Our server was extremely attentive. We frequent Cripple Creek. Superb service and meals are things that can be expected from Cripple Creek and their staff.

    My meal was great, for a hamburger, but I do feel cheese should not be extra. My husband’s meal was gluten free due to an allergy and I felt bad for him because his one pound burger was not char grilled, (he thinks it was probably baked or microwaved as it was very dry and wouldn’t hold together. He said it tasted like meatloaf instead of a burger). The waiter was not very knowledgeable about gluten allergies, but was very kind. We were also set in a space under the air conditioner that leaks water every so many minutes! I’m sure we couldn’t have been the first ones to request a change of table! I probably would have given a higher review if not for these things. At least provide a gluten free bun for a burger! They did find some gluten free fries and fried them separately though, so not all bad.

    The oysters on the half shell were cold, fresh and tasty. The Prime Rib was excellent. The one pound burgers were HUGE and delighted the young men who ordered them.

    I took some associates for a business dinner. The table was ready at the reserved time, the host took to the table. The server gave us waters, which was VERY hard, and took our drink orders. The drinks flowed and our food order was taken. The food came out and was as good as I have had in Del Rio. Other than the hard water, the dining experience was a great one.

    Goed ontvangen, wiebelen van tafel werd keurig verholpen maar de soep was op en we kregen het gevoel dat we ‘vergeten’ waren doordat er ruim 30 minuten tussen weghalen borden voorgerecht en ontvangen hoofdgerecht zat. Dit zijn we niet gewend in the states

    This is in my top two for steak experience! It has a unique Smokey grilled flavor on the steak unlike anything else I have had. Excellence ! The staff were friendly welcoming and very attentive to the dinner experience.

    Very small room with a whole lotta people at a whole lotta tables which it makes it a loud crowd no matter where you sit. Food different than my 1st visit from the seasoning to the actual taste of the food. When you order your appetizers and eat them along with your dinner salad your have to wait quite a while before getting your main entree. I would recommend to a friend but say the truth of what I experienced when I went for the 3rd time
