   Really disappointed in Crawdads tonight. Was excited to take out of town company to one of my favorite spots. The service was terrible, the food was slow coming out, looked messy and thrown together, and only tasted so-so. Our waitress basically forgot us halfway through our meal, it appeared that she had been reassigned to the bar and no one took over her table. Then she was suddenly off for the night and leaving her shift, which she never told us, and I had to flag her down just to pay, which annoyed her. Lots of socializing among the staff while people waited for food and drinks.The kitchen was supposedly "backed up"...on a Tuesday night? If it weren't for the great view it would have been a wasted evening. Not sure I will go back for a while. I really had high hopes for this place. I grew up in the area and was excited to see the renovation and reinvigorating the place. The managers really need to get their act together, hire better people and retrain the ones they have. Word is spreading around the community that they have problems. This is a special location, and the restaurant is beautiful. Hope they don't screw it up.

   The service was great, but most of the food left a lot to be desired and took forever to get to us. One of us had the blackened cod which was decent, but the green beans were overcooked and about 50% bacon (not sure if it was real bacon but definitely not healthy). We had ceviche, it was not good, very salty and fishy smelling. $15 small bloody mary that was overdone with pickle juice. We just felt the quality was low overall (except for the service). It might be for some but 6 TVs on one wall is just not our idea of a great atmosphere for dining.

   Our experience at Crawdads on the Lake was exceptional. Outstanding service, amazing drinks, and bang for your buck. 10/10 would come back again.

   It was such a lovely evening and wonderful to have a place to sit outside and enjoy the weather and the view along with excellent service and good food. Definitely will be back.

   Easter Brunch buffet at $55 per person. A glass of champagne at the door. Lots of food. Nice day to sit outdoors.

   Absolutely incredible view! We went for Easter brunch and the food was amazing! Everything I ate was wonderful! Champagne was included with the price of brunch which was fabulous! Beautiful building, decor, and (like I said) view! We will definitely be back to try their amazing-looking regular menu!

   We had Easter brunch buffet today. It was absolutely perfect! The food was delicious, there were tons of variety and different choices and our server was awesome! We had a fantastic experience and we're definitely coming back for the mother's Day brunch!

    Table ready when we arived. Sat outside at dusk with nice view of Lake Natoma. Great updates since it was Cliff House before. Country bands at 9pm on weekends and we were there at 7:15. Music a little loud for enjoying dinner and conversation outside, louder inside though. Lots of people milling around, not sure if they were there early for band or if maybe there is a cover charge later. Denim and cowboy boots for most EE and manyguests. I had the Creole burrito, excellent. Fresh tortilla chips warm and tasty. But some queso or something to dip them in would be nice, especially at $23. Wife had surf and turf skewers. Meat and shrimp cooked properly. Forgot to bring blue cheese dressing requested w order. Salad wS spring mix. Need Chardonay wine at more reasonable price points. CA house wine we had never heard of and from CA, no particular region. 5 oz poir $9. Next was Frank Family at $19 and Rombauer at $22. Guinees on draft $10, but 2 inchs of foam in a 16 oz glass??? And server didn't tell battender to fill it before delivery or even say anything??? Did not try house wine and had Frank at $19 plus tip for a glass of wine makes for a 1 drink there night. Servuce was spotty and they were doing a good businers but not super busy and plenty of EE working. And our server was training as she had a blond manager with her during entire time we were there. Likely go back on a weeknight as great view and location. Other good things on menu worth trying. Maybe for happy hour M to TH 3 to 5 PM. No hurry on weekendsas we are not country music fans and dinner dollars better spent elsewhere in Folsom.
