The owners of Crave have completed a renovation that highlights the beauty of the circa 1930 building including exposed brick walls, custom handmade furniture using reclaimed pallets, and a refreshed layout to enhance the dining experience. The menu will feature fresh items supplied from local farms. Feature signature items include Crave chips, Zucchini and Squash chips, sizzling pasta dishes, and fresh new desserts. Crave will begin serving new menu items during the transitional period Monday, July 13th and will continue to add specialty items up to grand opening in August. Customer experience will be enhanced with table service. Crave also invites you to use the new community table to meet neighbors, friends, or co-workers for a meal or drink. Crave will offer window seating with perfect views of uptown Greenville as well as a new coffee and tea bar, where you may sit and enjoy your favorite cup of java or hot tea. Charging stations and free Wi-Fi will be provided throughout.

I had the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant last weekend when I ate at Crave. 5 of us went to dinner after the football game. We had seen such a nice online menu we decided to give it a try. We walked up and the restaurant didn't look as appealing as their online menu but tried to try it anyway. It took over an hour to get our food. 3/5 orders were wrong, the Caesar Salad looked like it had canned chicken instead of grilled on the top and the $21 steak that was suppose to be medium rare was extra well done. We were already turned off by not receiving drinks quickly (we were 1 of 2 groups inside) and food taking so long after we had 2 bites we asked for the check. We were told the computers were not working and it took almost another hour to even get our checks. It didn't seem as if anyone knew how to wait tables or use the computer system. The manager did take some money off of our bill but I would never go back and eat at Crave and I would never suggest it to anyone.

Crave is a fabulous restaurant with outstanding food!! Save room for dessert - the homemade apple crisp and ice cream is the best I have ever had!!

The ONLY LGBT eatery/nightclub in Eastern NC is hip, friendly, diverse, and has an awesome menu. From appetizers to drinks and desserts, CRAVE rocks. Try the black bean sliders or the fried zucchini appetizers...YUM! After 10pm a great DJ brings the club side to life! The crowd is an LGBT rainbow of community and friends. I will definitely be back often!

We went to Crave with high hopes since Greenville doesn't have much in the way of top notch dining. Typically OpenTable doesn't offer mediocre restaurants, but this unfortunately is an exception. To start with, I had put avoiding seating us near a service area in the reservation, but that's exactly where she put us even those there were plenty of options. We could hear the noisy banging of plates being rinses and could even smell the dirty dish water. We ordered a bottle from their tiny wine list. The very nice server opened it for us but just left it there for us to pour ourselves. We ordered the artichoke spinach dip appetizer and it was very good. For entrees 3 of us got the shrimp and grits and one got the cedar plank salmon. The salmon was overdone and small, but tasted good. The grits on the other plates was gummy and bland tasting. There were a few small shrimp but most of protein on plate was sausage and bacon. Ambiance was lacking so didn't help redeem a forgettable meal.
