Good food, great service. One of our favorite local spots.
Fresh food. Nice portions - not too big, not too small. Lovely decor. It is crowded - no social distancing if that is of concern for you. I will go again.
Always enjoy this place.
Great place great food!
Great atmosphere and food
Arrived at 7:24 pm for out 7:30 reservation. Hostess rudely advised us that we would not be seated until our reservation time and was dismissive. We probably should have gone with our first impression and left. Once we were seated, the waiter informed us that he would put our drink order in but that it would take a long time to get our drinks. He was right, it took 30 minutes to get our drink. Two different excuses were given - the computer was running slow and they were out of glasses. Appetizer (deviled eggs) were bland and unimpressive. Entrees were tasty but food was cold. They seemed to be completely overwhelmed, and we left feeling underwhelmed!
We went right the weekend after the big snow/ice storm & we expected there to be issues with food availability & being packed (the place was swamped) but there really wasn't any major issues...they were doing the best they could & it showed...love this place...the staff is always so great & friendly & the food is very good!
This is a great place for appetizers and drinks. Very classy ambience. Great selection of beers and wines.
It was great as always. The service is excellent and the food outstanding. This is our go to place.
Great server, great food.
Fantastic experience, pleasant view, nice drink specials, great food.
This is such a charming place. It sports modern decor with a cozy vibe; plus outdoor seating on a 3rd-story patio. The service is next-to-none and I can’t say enough about the food. I highly recommend. This place won’t disappoint.
Great experience! Wonderful food.
Very good Valentine’s dinner. Good drink list also
First time here - excellent service, tremendous flavor, huge beer and wine selection
Such a beautiful place! Ebony our server was awesome!! Can’t wait for Sunday brunch to start up!
Just slow bar service
Meal was fine. I thought the pricing was a little high for the quality of food but overall we enjoyed. We had a late reservation but it was still fairly crowded. I think beer selections are better than the wine selections (in my opinion).
We love Craft & Vine! Favorite local place to enjoy dinner out. We love everything we’ve had here. :) Jeremy was a warm, friendly & helpful server!
Always consistently great food. We were interested in how they flavored their bourbons and the head bartender came to our table and was so lovely. She explained how she did her infusions and how she creates new cocktails. It was overall an exceptional evening.
We love this place! Good selection of wine, nice ambiance and food is pretty good!
If I could give them more stars, I would click away all night! Craft & Vine was the best dining experience that I have had in my 3 years living in North Texas. Everything about this restaurant makes for the perfect night. It is tucked away on the 3rd floor in a downtown Roanoke building. The view at night is so pretty! We had a table next to a large window AND the fireplace. The decor, the music, the lighting...it was all perfect! I would highly recommend Craft & Vine for a much needed, intimate date night or anniversary dinner. The food menu wasn't huge, but the beverage menu seemed endless! I had the Forever Summer Martini and it was so juicy and flavorful! I would highly recommend it! For dinner, I chose the Brussels sprouts and the smoked brisket eggrolls. Both were delicious. I just wish that the eggrolls came with some type of slaw to pair with it. The brisket has such a Smokey flavor - it was perfect! For dessert, I had the chocolate raspberry decadence. YUM! I don't know what else to say...if you're a chocolate lover, then it will definitely hit the spot!
I've heard about Craft & Vine for quite some time and I am sure glad that I was finally able to experience it. What a wonderful establishment. It fits the vibe of Roanoke oh so well!
Birthday celebration... perfect night
Amazing food menu. Great urban restaurant vibe.
We couldn’t hear ourselves talk. They were out of their Happy Cab and “upgraded” to another. It was marginal. Very upscale, which was nice. The space is great, but hard to find parking and hard to get to. I was glad someone else had said it was upstairs so we knew where to go.
The short ribs were to die for! Overall the food was excellent and its a great place to go.
Tried the infused bourbon. I had the toasted pecan and my wife had the fig and toasted walnut. They were great.
HOWEVER....seriously $13 for 1 finger neat? It was barely a decent shot pour of bourbon. We are not cheap, but that pour was. Zero star rating for the bar, 5 star for the kitchen.
The atmosphere was nice, and we were seated by a large window with a view, but two of the chairs at our table were half-broken, which was weird. Our waitress was very sweet, but the food was the problem. The deviled eggs app was incredibly bland, and my cocktail Dizzy with a Dame was as well. They dropped my husband’s burger on the ground, and had to remake it. Last but not least, my flatbread had fig jam and there were tiny rocks in it, which I bit into and hurt my teeth. I was scared to eat the rest of it and gave it back, and instead of comping it they made me another one to go. The next day my husband tried to eat it and bit into another rock! Crazy. On the bright side, the second burger they made him was good, as were the truffle fries and Brussels sprouts. But we will never eat there again.
Decided on the Ribeye. At a 4-Star price I was expecting the quality to be premium. It WAS NOT. It was greasy and fatty with no flavor at all. Business dinner with others so I didn’t make a fuss. The others weren’t impressed with their food either. Very disappointing.
Delicious food and AMAZING $5 martinis for happy hour!
Great food and drinks, as always. The restaurant was almost empty and, yet, the hostess sat a table of two right on top of us .... just two feet away from my husband and I. We had to move our chairs and then left quickly. Social distancing was not responsibly followed ... even with a near-empty restaurant.
Excellent food, Great Atmosphere!
Great for a Date Night!
Date night with my wife. Service was awesome, food was great and ambience was nice. We love this place.
Our server was on it and super attentive, it seems the rest of the bar staff and kitchen were not reading the instructions. We were an edge case and perhaps a little custom in that we had one in our group with a nut allergy and diabetic in our group, so asked for soda water, mint and cucumber for our drink which came with sugar syrup in it because the barman thought it would taste better....(not great for a diabetic), and then the brussel sprouts were requested without caramel sauce....again forgotten. They were sharp in checking no nuts though...(+).
Its weird we really wanted to like this place as the beer selection was awesome, but the food standards were way below what we expected....the buffalo wings were more like what you would find overseas (certainly not Texas).
Have to say the lady waitress was awesome however and v apologetic and worked hard....but they were not even that busy....this place could be awesome if they up the game on their food quality and read the orders !
Great choices for beer and wine. We enjoyed several appetizers and an entree and it was all good. The service was good, and our server allowed us to take our time and enjoy.
First time to visit based on recommendation from my girlfriend. Great atmosphere, excellent wine choices, good food and service. We will return.
We really enjoyed our dinner. Food was great and the service was excellent.
New Years Eve 2020. The covid restrictions were followed and managed very well. We did not have the pre fixe, we ordered from the regular menu. Food was excellent.
2 suggestions: should have stayed open until midnight. Don’t have to stay open until 2am but seems strange to not be open til midnight. If they are giving people a glass of champagne if they had the pre fixe menu, then why not offer the same to everyone else for purchase by the glass? Why limit the rest of us to buying an expensive bottle?
We had such a great time! You can dress it up or dress it down. Our server was so knowledgable and they helped make a custom dish for me, being keto.
A fun, casual vibe. The meal was good. Martinis were great. Be careful when you are told that Wednesday is $5 Martini day - it’s not all Martinis. I assumed it was and blindly ordered one that was not part of the special. Be sure to look for those specifically that are for $5 on the menu.
