   The first restaurant I went to when I moved to San Diego from NY & it’s been a staple for me. Everyone down to the other tables are just amazing. My only complaint is having to leave the whole entire restaurant to go to the bathroom. I feel restaurant guest should be able to go from the inside the same way their employees are and if you go the the speakeasy in the back then you go outside. The whole leaving the establishment - in downtown San Diego where homeless roam around especially near a parking lot - just isn’t really my vibe or even safe to be honest because there’s no one out there making sure we get in and out of there safe. It’s something I really believe management should consider because even thought it’s a short distance - God forbid something happen on that short walk it will be on there hands. Other then that I truly really do love this place, the food is amazing and the staff is literally TOP TIER!!

   Food and drinks were great, we had the gnoochi, carrots, mussels and the buttermilk biscuits. The waitress was attentative as possible but the restaurant in general seemed a bit understaffed as she had way too many tables, not her fault. May of just caught it on an understaffed night. Absolutely recommend.

   This was by far one of my favorite restaurant visits. The food is delicious. The staff is attentive. The environment is immersive and friendly. I loved the greens and tiny biscuits. The drinks are so fragrant with the fresh spices. Highly recommended!

   Not my first time here. But we brough some friends with us when traveling here in town. The place always shows really well. The atmostphere is really cool, the drings are unique, and the overall location is great for checking out little italy. Super cool ambience and interesting menu. Priced a little high, but for the location and uniqueness of the venue it's understandable. Definitely cominng back when we return to san diego.

    Food was phenomenal. Our server Gio was really helpful in letting us know portion sizes as well as what we might enjoy. Very family friendly- our toddler loved her fries and corn dogs.

    Was so excited to come here!!! It was on my bucket list. Well disappointed is the first word that comes to mind. I came here for the bone marrow since not a lot of restaurants carry it on their menu. Let me just say it was so salty I couldn't even enjoy it and sent it back. My dad ordered the steak and eggs a little overpriced for what we got. I also ordered the garden breakfast but I didn't feel like eating at that point so got it to go. The service was HORRIBLE!!! The palce had a few customers and the waitress hardly came to our table to check on us her name was Amy. The only person that suprassed service was the bartender. He was very kind and attentive. I don't think I will be coming to Craft and Commerce again.

    My husband & I brought our friend here to celebrate her birthday 🎂 From seating to drinks, dinner, & dessert- C&C consistently delivers a delicious & fun experience.     Pretty disappointing experience overall. We waited for over five minutes to be acknowledged by any staff member upon arrival. The man who did end up greeting us was a bar tender who thanked us for our patience, which I did appreciate, but ultimately had to have us continue to wait until a hostess became available to seat us. Upon being sat and attempting to order a cocktail, we were abruptly informed this bar does not have vodka. That’s fine, to each their own. Our waitress gave us some time to look over the bar menu but eventually I ended up informing our her that I wouldn’t be ordering an alternative cocktail, and that was the last we saw of her. Someone else finished the remainder of our experience from there. Our food was decent. Fries and aioli were tasty, sliders were decent. We left in under an hour, and even made eye contact with our server as we left and she did not acknowledge us. We won’t be back to dine here, which is a bummer because the atmosphere is pretty cool.

    So I wanted to experience the food and dining at CnC. Previously attended the Tiki lounge and thought this might be a good, fun date night place. I made a reservation early Monday morning and there were plenty of time slots open on Open Table. I did request a quieter table away from the bar as it was a date night and stated so in the request. We arrived 15 minutes early on a Monday night for a 6:45 reservation for dinner. We were seated around 6:45, no issue there at all. The visible dining area was full with the exception of our table. We were seated next to the bar walkway where many people were gathered and the conversations overpowered ours, and a large party as our neighbor. I had sat with my date on the same side of the table as the noise made it unrealistic that we would be able to talk across the short distance of the table. The hostess brought us water and then we waited for about 15 minutes to put in a drink order. A glass of wine and a gingerale. Our drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive. About 15 more minutes passed, and after nearly 45 minutes seated, we finally got our dinner order in. The food was served about another 15 minutes later, which seemed reasonable. So I ordered the Short Rib Gnocchi and my date ordered the burger. The food was very mediocre. The burger was absolutely boring and nothing better than a large In n Out flavored disappointment. After eating, we had zero reason to linger and quickly tabbed out. In short, not a Michelin worthy suggestion at all, being this is where I found them while looking for a new place for our date. The food, although priced reasonably, was a let down. The service and the lack of space between the tables and the bar made it difficult to feel any kind of ambience. You're eating in a bar with everyone on top of each other. The service was pretty bad. No real excuse that I could see being valid lest they had bar and kitchen issues causing the delays. Not worth a second try.

    The atmosphere and food were phenomenal. However, one of the utensils given to us had a crusty food stuck on it. I asked the hostess for a new one and she came back holding the fork with her bare hand. When I held it to pick up a piece of the appetizer, the fork handle was so sticky it felt gross, we had to ask a another girl and made sure she’d give us a clean one. Luckily, that girl came back holding the utensil the proper way - not holding it with the bare hand. We’d still be back cuz the food was great, just gotta make sure utensils are clean.

    Always a great time! Just a little chilly due to the restaurant being open on all sides to the outdoors, but otherwise great ambience, amazing food, and friendly service! We had the oysters, muscles, and roasted tomato and Romain salad. I will literally be ordering the exact same thing when I go back because everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection!

    The cocktails were good, it just took a really long time to get them. So we were sitting there with our ice for a long time waiting to order the next one, and then it took another 20 minutes to get the drink. The food was yummy, they serve toast with a lot of the dishes would have been nice to have a butter or like some aioli to accompany the dryness of the bread. We were able to seat quickly (we had a reservation), which was nice and would recommend having a reservation as there were ppl waiting outside. I actually enjoyed my experience overall. The music was good and the ambiance was nice and dim how I like it, the only issue was the amount of time it took to be served. Which could have been due to staffing so I’m not upset about it just wish the server was a bit more attentive and on it for our group.

    Definitely in for a treat here.
