Craft & Commerce
Fresno chili relish, toasted sourdough. Major pro tip: ask about making it a bone luge
Onion confit, white cheddar, secret sauce, kosher dill, brioche bun. Suggested Pairing: Maui Bikini Blonde and A Shot of Bourbon - cold pilsner and cheeseburger. Dessert is bourbon. Like the steak, beef char and bourbon go together like peas and carrots. You get a washdown and killer pairing all in the same
Confit Duck Leg "Tacos"
Crispy duck legs, bone marrow, pickled radish, queso fresco, salsa verde, cilantro, corn tortillas. Suggested Pairing: All Things Must Pass - a hint of umeboshi compliments salty confit cure. passionfruit/bright citrus cuts richness of duck and complements the accoutrements. Tequila makes a lot of sense for mexican inspired cuisine
Location is good. We were seated quickly. Server was attentive. Drinks were great. Food? Meh.
Menu was short and succinct. Wasn't inundated with options. Had the mussels they were exquisite. Bone marrow was a bit fatty but overall 5 stars. Service was excellent; our server has the memory of an elephant 🐘 she took the orders of 5 people without writing anything down and didn't skip a beat. Will be back soon
Upon arrival, we were greeted nicely by the host and hostess and helped with a table to accommodate our party of four plus small dog. The seating was probably the best seating we’ve had at any restaurant.
We were looking forward to a couple of popular items on the menu. Unfortunately, the restaurant mentioned that they were already sold out of it. (Bone marrow, biscuits). Since we are visitors to San Diego, we will sadly have to miss the opportunity to try these.
The food that arrived on time tasted excellent! We only wished that they had served the sides/vegetables at the same time as our entrees. The timing of our entrees was strangely abnormal. We each got ours at different times. By the time our last entree was served, the first one was already cold.
Despite our note in OpenTable that we were celebrating a special occasion, it was never mentioned by staff and never addressed that they would like to help us celebrate at their restaurant. Attention like this matters.
Lastly, the attention by staff throughout the meal was lackluster. Despite their kind smiles, they lacked in paying attention to the needs of our table. We felt that we had to chase down someone to inquire about getting us more water, to order another round of cocktails, to notify us when our entrees would be coming out. We loved the ambiance and the food tasted excellent. Their service is nothing to rave about as we’ve had much better service elsewhere. We would not recommend this restaurant because of just this factor.
such an amazing experience with amazing food, drinks, & decore
It was Sunday brunch and the drinks and food were delicious
Grabbed some drinks and apps with friends! The drinks were delicious and food was on point. Love this place!
Been coming here since the beginning, location, ambiance, food and cocktails are still great after all these years. Definitely a go-to in my neighborhood.
Food and our server were on point as always. I was a little bummed out though in my reservation I had out that we’re celebrating a special birthday and we wanted to surprise her with false idol after. I even let the hostess know that as well when we checked in so that we could go to false idol after dinner(which they said would be no problem), they did not take that into consideration and after dinner when I told the server I was told it would be an hour wait. It was kind of the main reason we even came there for her birthday.
Brunch isn’t so good here; it’s a limited menu and none of the savory faves are on there. Lunch and dinner, and drinks, are amazing!
Red chairs are uncomfortable if you have a booty 🤷🏽♀️
Everything was great thank you
Great unique atmosphere with great food. Very different and delicious. Enjoyed the atmosphere, good service and good food.
Came for a late brunch/early dinner just to try something new and man were we blown away. Staff was amazing and food was shockingly good! Spent almost 3 hours enjoying our meal and have a few drink, never felt like we where holding up a table. Enjoyed every moment at this location and can’t wait to return
Always good never disappointed
Great menu with delicious options but limited fresh vegetable options, most of the menu is very high in fat, cream or butter, which is fine overall, of course, but I was really craving something fresh like a green salad. We shared a few apps and had some yummy craft cocktails so overall the meal was great, portions were large and flavorful, we’d go back for sure and recommend this restaurant to others. Don’t miss out on the bone marrow, which is a house specialty.
We got there right before they closed the kitchen and our food came out within minutes of being ordered. Loved the decor of the place and the drinks were strong and tasty. I will definitely be back as our server was very pleasant and friendly. Prices were within reason of food portions.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere, fire pit was really nice! Staff was great, loved our server Austin!!
Love this place. Brunch menu could be better and offer a better selection of actual brunch dishes with the CHC spin. But overall always a good time here.
It was great! A perfect San Diego experience
I love this place. It’s adorable. The drinks were a little sweet. There is a fireplace at each table. The ambiance is amazing. I have tried some food like shishito peppers, fries and deserts - all delicious
Amazing amazing amazing! Unique drinks and food. Everything was so fantastic! Would definitely go back.
Awesome place with the awesome vibe very cool atmosphere food was incredible would go back again service was awesome
Great environment! Such good food and drinks. Perfect girls night!
Had a great experience here. The food was all delicious. They drinks were creative and very good!
It has a nice ambience with great decor and friendly service.
We love visiting when we're in the area. This time we dropped in for Happy Hour and grabbed a drink and tried the Dirty Fries - WOW, so good!! If you're here and see that on the menu, order it!
My friend and I went here for the first time for her birthday. The food was good, the drinks were good, and the service was great. The noise was super loud so you’ll have to yell over each other but it’s a cool spot for dinner. Might be better for lunch due to the noise.
Had a great experience with the staff and food. Great ambiance and overall exceptional time. Will return
Great vibe and great craft cocktails and food was outstanding!! Loved it!!!
I always, always love C&C.
Very cute decor and awesome staff, food and drinks were delicious!
A little bit on the loud side, but not a big deterrent. Food was good and different.
Waitress was very accommodating.
We celebrated my graduation at Craft and Commerce and had an amazing brunch. First, the staff was extremely accommodating and was flexible with some changes I made. The hostess was super helpful and server was very attentive. I even received a call from the owner confirming my reservations. The only critique I have is that the menu for brunch was very limited and I’m not sure if that’s a covid thing but the ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant made up for it. They don’t serve Vodka which is interesting but all the drinks were great. The bone marrow was delicious (chefs kiss). Would definitely come back for just for the taxidermy and sarcastic quotes on the walls. Very enjoyable brunch!
Great location. Server Kim is absolutely the best
Our server was wonderful, attentive and made great recommendations. The cocktails were amazing and the food was soo delicious! Can't wait to come back. :)
Great menu, great service, awesome atmosphere!!! High recommend!!!
Our short ribs were stone cold, not even lukewarm - Cold
This place is really cool. Unique decor makes for an ambiance that transports you to another place. Cocktails and food were excellent. We'll be back.
Our waitress must have been really occupied because she would check in with the tables around us but not our table. The table next to us kept spewing water onto the fire on the table top and in turn putting out the fire, they did this several times. The air smelled of propane gas. There was a very kind tall slim blond gentleman who would check in on us, I was happy for him.
We prefer the old brunch menu.
Service was slow and menu was much more limited than in the past, not as good as usual for this brunch experience
