I usually don’t bother with critiquing things. But I was quite disappointed in our Thanksgiving dinner. Most of the food came out cold. And Service was subpar. For example when I ordered an herbal tea, I didn’t ever get that fulfilled. If you wish to talk to me further, email me back. Tom
Staff was amazing and the food was great.
The chefs at this restaurant are excellent and creative. The octopus salad was very special if you like octopus or squid. Salmon done to perfection, asked for medium and received nice moist/juicy medium 7-8 oz. portion. Wife had sesame chicken breast and that was fabulous as well. The final perfect piece was the Creme Brulet cheese cake, magnificent.
This was my first time here, looking forward to another trip soon. The dining area is unfortunately a typical hotel facility, but more than made up by the quality of the food and outstanding chef.

Not good for a Mother’s Day occasion. No ambiance, no flowers for a $40 buffet, I would have expected a lot more. A number of years ago, this same venue had a special set up including decorations, flowers, carved ice and a large selection.
Service was very poor and unprofessional. Much better options in Greenville.
Food was ok; however, was a little shocked at the $40 pp price tag. There was zero advertising about the price point for Mother’s Day. Felt like they were taking advantage of the holiday. Food was average at best & not worth the $40 pp. I won’t make this mistake again.

Mother's Day brunch buffet. The food was all delicious, a nice amount of options and the food was refreshed regular. My only real downsize was the amount t of time it took to get people seated. Otherwise the staff interacted with us where all very pleasant and attentive.

What a hidden gem! Color me highly surprised to find such excellent food in a restaurant attached to a hotel outside of Downtown Greenville.
Located in the burgeoning Verdae Blvd area, Craft 670 is an unprepossessing restaurant located within the Embassy Suites. It does however, boast a lovely outdoor area, which is where we asked to be seated.
The service was top-notch and swift. Our entrees were simply great. My grilled salmon (moist and NOT crunchy!) could not have been produced any better at the finest restaurants Downtown. Heavenly! Spouse had ribs, which he pronounced "excellent". Each item was cooked EXACTLY to our specifications, to include the french fries, lol. Picky diners like ourselves test the mettle of most kitchens. ;-)
Good wine selections as well.
Here's the kicker: this marvelous repast was enjoyed for just under $50 including a glass of wine (!!).
You can't touch that Downtown. Add to that the outdoor dining and easy parking, and Craft 670 is a new favorite.
We were a party of eight, and the food took longer than what we anticipated for the amount of people that was in the restaurant. I had the chicken and waffles which was relatively good except my chicken was a little overcooked. I believe three people at the table had the same thing and all of the chicken was overcooked. The scones were absolutely delicious. The mimosas were great. The service was excellent. And I did enjoy myself.

Came for Restaurant week menu. Appreciated that the House Salad is more than just lettuce & tomato. Waitress was friendly. A large crowd attending a meeting in one of the ballrooms descended all at once, which added a delay in getting our food. Didn't bother us. Reasonably priced and good quality.
We went for the brunch with Santa and got so much more then we ever expected! The food was amazing! There was so many different options we never got to the dessert table. The decorations were perfect. We had a great Christmas family dinner!

Great restaurant! Thanksgiving dinner was exceptional. Loved it so much had dinner here also. Service fabulous and friendly. Great menu choices and presentation was beautiful.
After we were seated, several other tables were served well before we were. My sister's prime rib was ordered medium rare. It came out well done and not hot. The best thing was the crab dip with melba toast.
Our reservation was at 11:30. When we ordered we were told that the food for a large group of 25 (whose reservation was at noon) was being prepared before ours because they preordered. That's not cool. What's the purpose of having a reservation? Although the food didn't take as long as we thought it would, there were several meals incorrect and several items missing.
Aside from that, the food was delicious and our servers were really good.
I would go back again, but would have to specifically ask if there are any other groups who would take precedence over ours
The meal was outstanding. Robert our server recommended the salmon salad and the lamb. Wow! very impressed. We were celebration our 44th wedding anniversary.
Our party of 4 truly enjoyed the food, the variety of selections, the ambiance, and the hospitality of the entire staff. We each had our favorite dish. Mine was the strawberry/blueberry cake.
We were there for the Mother's Day brunch. The first issue was that my wife and I were assigned a cocktail size table for our meal. It was not appropriate for a $100.00 meal.
Service was okay, not great, but not particularly bad either. I did take exception to the waitress filling in a tip amount ( 18% ) on the initial bill presented. I normally leave a 20% tip if the service is good, but since we had to ask for drink refills, I thought her suggestion was a bit presumptuous.
The food was mostly very good. The prime rib was terrific, as was the lamb. The breadth of selection was very good. Unfortunately, the stone crab claws, while impressive on display, were not very good. One could tell by the color ( brown ) which ones were really dry, but even the light colored claws were still not great. If you've had really good stone crab claws, then you know the difference. I didn't have any of the breakfast items, but my wife did and said they were very good. The deserts were varied and very good.
I have eaten at the Embassy Suites many times over the years, usually for lunch when the lunch buffet was available. We have even come for breakfast a few times over the years because the breakfast buffet is usually really good - especially with the made to order omelets. We had attended the Mother's Day and Easter brunches several times, when they were offered in the past, and had been pleased. We noticed the attempts to upgrade the general appearance and functionality of the hotel. This past Sunday was the first time we have eaten here in several years. Glad to see that you are re-establishing the special occasion brunch. Had we not had to sit at the little cocktail table, if the crab claws had not been disappointing, and the waitress didn't try to goad me into meeting her expectations of her service, then I wouldn't have minded the $40.00/person price.

The food was great. Most buffets are lack luster, but this was high quality. But it was hot in the restaurant, uncomfortably so.
The food was delicious and very flavorful. Because it was our first time, we took a long time to order our food but the wait staff were very patient. My only complaint is it is basically a corner of the lobby, not an actual restaurant separate from the lobby/pool area. The steady line of pool-goers going to the bar was distracting to me. Overall, I enjoyed my experience.
Awesome Pre-Prom dinner with 10 friends. Restaurant set us up in a private area and the chef surprised us with a special treat to start our dinner. We received a warm welcome and Dana did a great job taking care of us. The food was great and it was the perfect start to a memorable evening.
The Valentine's special was exceptional. The restaurant was set up with beautiful flowers. We received a warm welcome. The food and service were outstanding and we will return.

This was our first experience at Craft 670. Our server was very friendly and pleasant. The restaurant is exactly what you would expect of hotel dining. The meal wasn’t particularly memorable though everything tasted fine. The only complaint about the food was the steak was rare when it was ordered medium. Overall I wasn’t disappointed, but my expectations weren’t exceeded.
We went there for Restaurant Week and Craft 670 outdid itself. The mussels were delicious, the hot chicken was tender and the bread pudding was outstanding. Congrats to the Chef. This was definitely not "hotel food".

My husband and I tried this during Restaurant week. The Embassy Suites is very nice with convenient parking. We were seated in an attractive location which was very quiet. The food was wonderful. My salmon was outstanding; I would order it again. The waitress, Dana, was very nice and professional. The three course meal was timed very well with each course being cleared before the next arrived. Why is that so rare? The food presentation was attractive with beautiful plates. The chef paid attention is my one food allergy and made a substitution. We will definitely go to this restaurant again.
