Been several times in the past. But this time they sit us down in the party room! Never again will that happen! Seems once the party was finished they stopped coming by with the meat. Had to ask twice for the waiters to come by. Was supposed to be 18 different types of meat served Saturday night. Believe we was served maybe 6?
For the price, I was disappointed. We were seated in in ‘niche’ or alcove. This seemed to cause most of the servers to skip us. We found ourselves waiting for food constantly. Eventually, over an hour into the experience we had to stop servers and ask for specific items. Only got Ribeye once, got lamb shanks at the end of the two hours as well as the pineapple. If I hadn’t known about those last two I never would have gotten them because I had to ask. The filet was way over cooked- I asked if I could get medium done and was told no. Our waiter only came by a couple times during the whole time.
We were not explained how our Groupon worked (the document said we could get a bottle wine or two deserts with it - we are not wine drinkers). At the end we found out we could have had $25 towards any drinks! Would have rather had drinks than deserts. So if you have Groupon, beware! We were hoping to have found a restaurant we could revisit for special occasion - we will keep looking.
The servers were all good, and our personal server, Miquel, was very good. He was friendly and attentive.
The salad bar is terrific with a wide variety of choices.
Weirdly, you need to request lamb if you want it, as a leg or chop.
The quality of the meats was fine and they were, for the most part, cooked correctly, but the problem was that none of the meat had been seasoned. The best of meat, when not seasoned, is just boring. It was such a shame. The only Brazilian dipping sauce was chimichurri. This, sadly, had no flavor.
We were checked at the door with thermometer and greeted warmly. If you enjoy some special time out with friends and family, this hits the spot. The setup was placed for safely getting salads etc. With disposable gloves. Food and service was top notch. I recommend highly. A+
The cold and hot bars were great. The brisket was excellent. Ribeye a little tough. Would try again.
We celebrated our anniversary here. This was our first visit, and although much more expensive than what we would typically spend on a dinner even for a special occasion, we loved the atmosphere and the food! The selections at the salad bar were amazing!
Oustanding service and delicious food. 31st Wedding Anniversay was memoriable moments.
This is one of our favorite places for a special dinner. We brought some friends here for their first time this past weekend. The Covid measures were great, masks required at salad bar and anytime away from the table as well as a temp check at the door. The food was good as always. Our personal server was not very attentive, it took quite a long time to get drinks initially and refilled. Other servers started helping out towards the end (I think our server was new) so that helped. We used the Groupon deal as we have before and I always appreciate how they will give you a choice on what to use your wine credit for if you don't want wine (we've used it for bar drinks, desserts or to cover our smaller child's meal). Overall, great as always!
Dinner was great. I place on reservation that I was celebrating a birthday and my guest was not recognized. I really didn’t like that. If you sing happy birthday songs would think you would acknowledge customers request.
All the entrée were good. The hot bar was excellent. The salad bar had a great variety.
Very nice restaurant all the staff really make you feel welcome and appreciated. Food selection was amazing
The experience was amazing. The meat was awful....no taste. It was more like chewing air
BRING ON THE MEAT! Awesome selection of not only meat, but sides. Everything was prepared perfectly. Our server was a little slow to refill our cups, however it wasn’t so bad as to raise an issue. Also wish the flow of meat would have been more consistent, seems as if it came in spurts. Other than those trivial qualms, I think everything was great. Best flank steak I have ever had, and the pineapple was a surprising favorite.
All around excellent experience! I can’t wait until I can go again!
everything was hot and tasty. service was great. clean
Great ambiance. We took out parents who had not been before. They loved it! It’s great to get a good variety of meats. The salad/pasta bar as well as the hot bar are always appropriate temperatures and delicious! Parking is very easy and close to the entrance!
As one who has had the privilege of dining at churrascarias across the US but more importantly actually in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this was literally a terrible experience.
Taking into consideration the pandemic state when dining out, Cowboys was simply way off the mark. I should have followed my instincts and left prior to being seated, however, I had my wife and 16-year-old daughter with me and this was going to be our daughter's first churrascaria experience.
The host was not personable, the table service was poor and I actually had to request that the gauchos bring meat skewers to the table. The salad bar was a pittance compared to say Fogo de Chao and the selections of meat were extremely limited compared to what was listed on the menu.
So disappointing for our family, certainly not worth anywhere even close to the $200 tab. Do yourself a favor, go to Charlotte, Atlanta, or anywhere but Cowboys for a Brazillian steakhouse experience.
We ate here for my husbands 30th Birthday and it was all around a good time. The service was great, everyone was smiling and friendly. The food and drinks were amazing. I wish the hot side selection was more but i will still be going back .
Very tasteful. Service was wonderful and everything exceeded expectations
Even though Covid19 caused operation issues within the restaurant, management and staff worked seamlessly through the required changes. The food and service did not falter. A very pleasant time was the result of our dining experience. Overall- Excellent!
Everything was fantastic! Our server was awesome! Decidedly going to be the new birthday spot!
Great food and fabulous service! Second time here and it is still as good as ever!
The food was outstanding as usual. It took a little longer than usual for the meats to make their way to our table than usual, but once they started, they rarely slowed down. The meats wer delicious! The house sirloin was my favorite!
Not worth the price. Food is no better than golden corral or places in that price range. Meats were overcooked and the only cooked vegetables available were collard greens.
Overall, the food was very good, but on too many occasions, we were waiting for meats to be served to our table and our plates were empty. The other parties in the restaurant were very large, whereas our table only had two guests. The larger tables were given preference over the smaller tabletops. I would have to suggest, in my opinion, that the "gauchos" should wait the smaller tables before the larger tables; in order to not run out of selected meats.
My wife and I came here for our anniversary without our kids. We were out next to a big group of 10-12 and it was extremely loud. We also only saw 8-9 of the different meats and they kept coming back around with nothing new. The server was the best part of the experience. For the price I am not sure if I will come back.
I have been to Cowboys before (prior to Covid-19) and the serves seemed better then. It took 15 minutes after being seated for a server to come by.
The food service came in waves; 3-4 servers within 5 minute period, then no one for 15 minutes. The meat selection as reasonable. The flank steak only came out twice in a 2 hour period and I had to request it the 2nd time.
The buffet was outstanding. The sizable shrimp was top notch. They provided latex gloves at the buffet so you need not worry about touching the tongs (post covid-19).
Overall the competitor in Greensboro was better.
Excellent location for a date night. We had the unfortunate luck of sitting beside the loudest guy in history. Other than that, which was in no way the restaurants fault, everything was amazing! Food, service, and value.
Salad and hot bar were nice. Drinks were delicious and had a good balance. Most meats were decent but a lot were very bland and under seasoned. Also I prefer a medium rare and do not like to cross the medium line. They cook everything medium. But half of what we ate was medium well or almost inedibly well done. Felt it wasn’t really quality enough to justify the price. Also, mentioned it was our anniversary on our reservation and I don’t really expect special treatment but we never had any form of acknowledgement, even a “happy anniversary, thanks for choosing us” type comment which was a bit disappointing.
Amazing food and amazing service. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. Thank you to all staff for making this a great first experience at a brazilian steakhouse!
It was excellent. Tasty amazing food. Great Service. Friendly Staff. I'll be back.
It was awesome food very good service was excellent
Very good food, the salad bar was amazing with lots of different things on it! The meats were wonderful
I have been here 6 times. Sometimes the experience is absolutely wonderful. Sometimes, not so much. I have a certain expectation when i am dining in a high end restaurant. There are times that the service is impeccable and the food is excellent and everything that i expect from the kitchen is available. Then there are the times that the service is terrible and the kitchen does not serve certain things that i have come to expect. The food is so good that i keep going back though.
Service was awesome and the food was very good. Will def go back .
They didn’t bring all the different meats around like usual! Keep on bringing same stuff!
It is a nice place. I have been to others. The sirloin and filet could have been offered more frequently. The garlic potato’s were toward the cold side, but the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice, not overboard. I never mind paying a little more, but I do want our food hot and to our liking. My wife loved the grilled pineapple.
I would return again. The food was great and the customer service as well!
Great food, and a unique experience. Ambiance was nice and calm - upscale environment. Safety precautions were clear and abundant - temp checks at the door, gloves and hand sanitizer at the buffets, masks required when not seated at your table.
I’m sure some of the changes are due to the Covid situation, however the menu listed is not the menu served. The prices on the website were also not the prices at the restaurant. We were required to wear masks and have temps taken upon entering and given a lecture about the use of the masks as we move around the restaurant. I assume the rules didn’t apply for everyone as there were groups that did not have to abide by this. We had to ask for the pineapple and it was like we annoyed the waiter, even though he asked what we would be interested in. It was okay overall, but I don’t see the hype and we probably won’t be returning.
