The first thing you consume when you walk into the restaurant is the decor. It smartly blends a variety of mediums to create a speakeasy vibe—exposed brick, black-and-white patterned wallpaper, warm wood accents, and eclectic lighting. The space itself feels like a work of art. But let’s get to the food, which, in my opinion, plays second to the decor. I started with the grilled Caesar. The lettuce was perfectly cooked—crisp with just the right kiss of char. The brioche croutons and parmesan crisp added an elevated touch to the salad. The gumbo was flavorful, but as someone who’s had a lot of gumbo over the years, I missed that deep, dark brown color that a well-made roux should have. The Courthouse gumbo didn’t quite deliver on that front. My husband ordered the pork with sweet potatoes and green beans. The first thing we noticed was the pool of mustard cream sauce at the base of the dish, with the vegetables layered above it and the pork chop resting on top. While the pork chop itself was cooked beautifully and paired well with the green beans, it had the opposite effect on the sweet potatoes. They became oily from the pork and were overwhelmed by the mustard sauce. The competing flavors just didn’t work together. I went with the sea bass, which had wonderfully crispy edges and was cooked to perfection. It was topped with what I believe was a minimal orange slaw—light and refreshing but pooled in the orange blossom sauce. It was very good, but at $51? I can’t say it felt worth that price. I also tried the loaded mashed potatoes (without bacon or sour cream). There was an odd flavor I couldn’t quite place—not bad, but not particularly enjoyable either. But then came the coconut cake—wow, just wow! Layers of moist goodness, blanketed with toasted coconut, and paired with just enough chocolate nestled next to the slice. A sweet, memorable finish to the meal.

Anna our server was very attentive to our needs and was very knowledgeable of all the food and drink items! She is a keeper! The food was fantastic, our filets were delicious, you could cut them with a butter knife! We will be back!!

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambience! This was our third time dining here and every time it's very consistent. We loved the live music on Saturday night.

We went for the live music on a Friday night, and that was very well done. The decor and ambiance was very nice. Service was a little slow and there was no refilling of our water or requests for drinks other than when we first sat. Menu items were expensive for what was given and overall the flavors were average. We ordered the bacon wrapped dates, which were good but not worth the price. I ordered the sweet potato entree which was a vegetarian option- OK but odd with cous cous and goat cheese, and it needed more seasoning. Partner ordered the chicken wings with shishito peppers- probably the best tasting dish served but not worth the price. I probably would return for drinks and dessert, but not for apps or entrees. I had high hopes seeing this restaurant advertised on social media, but unfortunately the food and service didn’t live up to the hype. I would rate this place a 2.5/5.

Wow. Can’t believe it has taken us this long to try this place! Love the vibe, decor, service…and the food was superb. Filet sliders and Shrimp cocktail were perfect. Amazing battered fries. And we love the pork chop as well. Amazing date night experience. Amazing patio too, but we chose high top by the bar. Inside is so cool had to be in there. Highly recommend.

The coconut cake was the best. Lively bar with great ambiance. Lavender Gin Cocktail was really good. Porkchop was cooked to perfection. Would go back for drinks and apps.

Rose was a great waiter with excellent suggestions, and the Manager was very friendly. Apps and drinks were just as amazing as the main course!

Service was super slow. Our waitress was nice but just not on top of it and too chatty. We didn’t get an app until about 45 mins of being there and then another 45 until we ordered dinner. We had to ask for the check twice. Reservation was at 6:30 and we didn’t get out of there til 9. We had a lovely time with friends but everything just took forever.
