Great food and Jamie is an awesome waiter!
We loved our experience along with our waiter was wonderful, Jamie! He was so welcoming and a fun personality to chat with throughout the evening. His helpful tips with sharing different choices depending on how we were feeling that evening was appreciated and we can’t wait to go back and try more dishes again!
Went here for our 10th wedding anniversary and wanted to try a new experience. It was excellent and I highly recommend it! The food was superb, the service (Craig) was top notch! He was knowledgeable, cordial but a lot of fun as well. If you can request him... do! The ambiance was beautiful. The only downside to this (if there was any) was it was a bit small in there, so you could hear other diners and their conversations. It wasn’t all that bad though. It wasn’t a deal breaker by any means. If your wanting to try a new place with amazing food and fantastic service in a cozy setting, try Courchevel Bistro! I plan on going back for sure! Remember, ask for Craig, he will truly take your experience to the next level! Enjoy!
The building is beautiful and it’s a great atmosphere inside. The service throughout instead of feeling natural felt forced. The server was just awkward. Some courses like the mushrooms and trout were excellent but the duck was a complete failure. I suspect this may be known as the server tried to direct us to the trout and pork chop. For wine the server was unaware and got help, but they literally googled the name of the bottle to give us more info. I wouldn’t come back. There are much better restaurants in Park City.
I don’t generally love French food, but Courchevel served elevated bistro food and was the best meal we had in park city. The service and food was both exceptional. This restaurant was a stand out on the strip of expensive and sometimes overpriced restaurants in historic Main Street.
Best dinner restaurant and food in Park City. We tried about 8 places and this one was the best. French inspired, fresh ingredients.
The setting is wonderful. After dining at another Main St restaurant 3 days earlier with noise in the 85db level (think household blender) this was a visit to civilization.
Started with cocktails and the old fashioned was wonderful standing out in a town where everyone is offering the drink.
The food was wonderful. The duck pasta had duck confit mixed with roasted tomatoes and linguini on a bed of puréed butternut squash. A perfectly cooked duck breast was served on the other side of the plate. The double bone-on pork chop was a generous portion, cooked to perfect temperature with great accompaniments. And the sea bass was generous in portion cooked perfectly.
Appetizers are definitely for sharing.
The sommelier was very helpful recommending wines and desert wines.
Service was attentive and good not great- just little things that other high end Main St restaurants don’t miss.
We will definitely go back.
We had to ask for both bread and water. Food took forever. Had to ask waiter to check on our order. Same with the table behind us.
Overall, we were a bit disappointed with the food at this restaurant. While the onion soup is awesome, everything else was a bit underwhelming. We had the pork chop and chicken and both were not very flavorful. The bread, while good, was slightly undercooked. We did love the ambiance and our server was fantastic. While a little noisy, it was not that bad at all and we could easily communicate
The food was too salty. I had the Beef Burgundy. The meat was not tender and the sauce too salty. I also had the French Onion soup and is was very average. I have had better onion soup at chain restaurants.
Cindy, thank you for your feedback and patronage. We're sorry to hear that and we will absolutely be looking in this.
Very noisy. Took more than 1 1/2 to be serve a seabass and a dessert. Dessert I cancelled because it neither came up. The check was $75 for te seabass and two glasses of wine.
I would avoid this place
Mr. Jean-Louis, we appreciate your patronage and feedback. We sincerely apologize about your recent experience and assure you that these concerns will be addressed.
It was a disappointing dinner. The food was just average. We were seated in the main dining room. After awhile a huge party came in that were going to be seated at 3 tables. They all stood around before sitting which was a huge distraction for the rest of us seated and eating dinner. I said something to the waitress and her answer was they were full tonight. They should have the huge parties separated into their own area. All I wanted to do was finish quick and leave.
Diane, we absolutely agree that situation was not ideal. Courchevel does strive to put large parties in a different space, we always appreciate feedback from all of our guests. We apologize for your experience and hope you return another time.
Jamie was an excellent waiter and his suggestions were spot on. I've been going to Park city for almost 20 years and this might have been my best dining experience there yet.
Thank you for coming in, we're so glad you enjoyed everything!
Unfortunately overpriced mediocre food which was way too Salty.
Fabulous French food, great service and conducive ambience. What’s not to like? We had beef burgundy and the sea bass which were both delicious and nutritious followed by an amazing apple beignet (plenty to share) and a chocolate concoction. Meal was fairly expensive but about standard for main st Park City. Perfect for a special occasion.
We ate at Courchevel on a quiet Sunday evening. There were five of us and three of our meals were really poor. The duck pasta, Burgundy beef and chicken were seriously underwhelming. It was if the ingredients in these dishes didn't work well together and resulted in a mash up of tastes that didn't work. We also had a very nice bottle of wine that we would up pouring ourselves due to the inattentiveness of the server. Overall a really disappointing experience, particularly for the price tag. I would not recommend.
Olivia, we sincerely apologize about your recent experience at Courchevel. We always appreciate feedback from all of our guests and will address these concerns. If you're still in the area we would appreciate the opportunity to have you back and give you an experience that would be more in line with both of our expectations.
Wonderful French Savoie food!
Our table was not free so we choose to sit at the bar
One dish was yum and the other traditional French was meh
They need to figure out the HVAC too was too hot then too cold
Dinner was very good in a nice environment. The issue was the restruant was very hot and the temperature could not be regulated. We would have stayed for desert but were so uncomfortable we decided to leave.
Beautiful space, they gave us a wonderful seat with a view of the city for my birthday. Service was topnotch! Really wonderful waiter with great advice on the menu choices and picked the best dessert for us :). Happy we chose this and would come again next time we are in Park City!
This is our third time here and it seems to get better each time we go! We brought friends with us this evening who also loved it! The food was amazing, I had the sea bass and so did one of our friends it was outstanding as was my husbands duck /pasta dish and my girl friend had the pork chop that she also said was amazing. We all shared the brautwurst appetizer and it was really a creative spin on pigs in a blanket, a must have.
We asked our server to recommend a wine for us and her choice was outstanding! We had a couple of foodies and wine "snobs" and all loved this place! The onion tart and beet salad were terrific as was the Idaho trout! We will definitely go back:)
Stellar service, amazing food
Great setting.. great food.. great staff.. top 3 best places in Park City..
Wonderful meal and great ambiance.
Great experience - great waitress
We were treated to dining seats along the "bar" that looks in upon the glass enclosed kitchen, where we were able to watch Chef Gelas and his expert staff prepare a wide variety of dishes with beautifully choreographed flair. We began with the French onion soup (best I've ever tasted) and the baked crozets. Mains were the beef Burgundy and the pan seared Mediterranean sea bass (branzino). All dishes were simply delicious (as they were again as leftovers the next day - portions are generous). I suspect everything coming out of this kitchen would be superb, and I cannot wait to repeat the experience.
Great new place on the Main Street dining scene...clearly one of the top, for both food and vibe. Been twice this season with consistent results
Highly recommend !
It is not kid friendly although the have a kid menu.
Generally you try serving the kid first or with the appetizers, if you are going to offer pasta don’t do spaghetti is it very difficult for a toddler to it it by themselves, is better short pasta. My plate had an extra ingredient that was not in the menu, it was acidic and did not pair well with rest of the plate not even the manager knew what it was he had to ask the chef. The server was slow and not very knowledgeable of the menu. My husband venison was very good.
Overall, the food wasn’t great. Very bland and nothing that I would want to go back and try again. Staff was pleasant. Decor was forced and lacked execution. Overall, not sure how this concept survives.
Came with a party of 8, including 2 with allergies. Everyone loved all of our food, and the service was amazing! Constantly refilling water glasses and checking how we liked our food. The restaurant looks really nice with a cool open kitchen behind a wall of glass.
A lovely place. Tasty food and nice people. BUT wayyyyy too expensive.
Bistro 412 closed a few years ago and PC had no French restaurant until Courchevel opened up, We took mu son and his new bride there and we all really enjoyed the food and wine, and crafted cocktails as well. Thanks for bringing French food back to PC.
WARNING : This restaurant only wants you as a customer if you are there to drink.
Overall, the experience was okay. Rose, the general manager was amazing went out of her way to make use feel comfortable and welcome. Most of the food was amazing and we generally loved our experience.
The rest of the experience was complete garbage.
At first, our waiter was attentive and called us by name. He was welcoming and engaging, until we passed on ordering alcohol. At that point he made us feel like complete trash that didn't deserve to be graced by his presence.
His attitude turned on a dime and he went from warm and engaging to cold and hostile. The only words he said from that point on "What do you want?" and "I water good enough for you?". Seriously, that is all he said. He never checked on us the rest of the night. We had to flag down another waiter to get our water glasses refilled.
Thankfully, Rose, the general manager came by to ask how our meal was and finished his job for him. She personally brought water to us, made us feel welcome and genuinely ensured that we were taken care of.
The bottom line is that no one wants to go to a restaurant and be ignored and dismissed. The only reason I am not leaving 1 star reviews is because the General Manager went out of her way on one of the busiest nights of the year to make it right.
Just because I am not going to be your biggest table of the night does not mean that I don't expect to be taken care of. If I wanted to be ignored and rudely dismissed, I would have stayed home with my children.
Excellent service and food was outstanding, The Chef came to our table and served our main course to make sure everting was to our satisfaction.
Food was excellent. Delicious and served beautifully.
Outstanding French Bistro. Every aspect of the meal was outstanding. The Hunters Chicken and the Pork Chop both were great. A newer restaurant in PC, but I put it at the top of the list. Nice addition to the PC restaurant scene.
This was our first visit and we will definitely go back
Olivia & the staff were very Accommodating & Personable. Food was excellent!
Excellent salad and ordeuvre - coq au vin wasn’t great. Vegetarian pasta amazing
