Located in the beautiful uptown area of Bay City, Michigan, Costela Brazilian Steak House is the place to go if you’re looking to experience something out of the ordinary. We opened our doors in 2018 and has since been honing our skills in representing the best in mesquite-grilling top grade meats known as churrasco (choo-rahs-ko). Experience how our gauchos expertly carve the juiciest beef, chicken, pork, lamb and sausage, all at your table side. Churrasco Experience is available on Fridays & Saturdays only. Tuesday through Thursday, you can choose from our CAB (certified Angus Beef) steak selections a la carte. Come on in, the wood-fired grill is on and the mesquite is burning.

A lot of the meats were overly salty and pretty bland during their churrasco dining experience. Wish there was an option to have the full al a carte menu on the weekends instead. Waiter wasn’t very knowledgeable about the wine. The buffet portion was better in our opinion, but we didn’t really pay $50 per person for a salad bar/buffet line. The restaurant had a nice interior. Overall I would only go back for the a la carte menu.

The food was excellent and was brought out in small bites, which was good for my husband and myself since we filled up fast. The salad bar contained unique items and that along with the hot bar would have been plenty. We wanted the full experience though which included caipirinhas. We will be back!

Costela Brazilian Steak House is so much more than a meal. With all sorts of extraordinary flavors and the endless meat rolling out, it was an experience that will mark this fathers day as a family favorite. We were stuffed with great food and remarkable service.

Excellent food & service but too expensive, since you can not take any food home with you. Also the charge for using a card was exorbitant. Bad decision by the owners to let one party keep other patrons from being able to take the food they paid for home with them.
