   Always a cozy evening at the Corner Wine bar. Atmosphere good to share a bottle of wine and have a conversation. Food flavorful and presented well. Like the French onion soup. Unusually cold outside and unfortunately inside the night we attended. Hope the furnace is up to par soon. Will return.

   It was NYE and was a Fixed menu. The choices were very limited and the portions small. For $65 per person, we got a very small bread bowl of beef stew. The restaurant was very cold due to the temperature. I’ve been there during warmer times and it was pretty good. Sadly, it failed NYE.

   The place did not honor the sign in front for a $14.95 filet special. Upon arrival, we were escorted to the basement and a draft from the upstairs forced me to wear my jacket the entire time. The menu for 65.00 included one small piece of salmon, cold mashed potatoes, small leafy salad, water, no bread, one- inch by one-inch piece of cheesecake and a glass of bubbly. When we made the reservation through Open Table, they did not say anything about a set menu. So after sitting down, and ruining my evening, we paid the bill for 140.00 plus tip. The server was nice and attentive, the floor was dirty and the restroom was deplorable. When I complained I was told they did not honor the special on this day. Why have the sign out in front? When we left the sign was down. I called and asked to talk to a manager, waited 8 minutes and told her about the situation, she said she knew the sign was up, but this was a special day and it was all over social media, like have time to check on social media everytime I go out. Well, when I asked her name she refused and hung up. A poor place to eat and do business with. I tried to call back and ask for the owner's name and got hung up on. What a lousy place and the poorest customer relations. I suggest going to any place but there if in Broad Ripple.

   We were hoping for a 7pm reservations for 6. OpenTable's availability only said 6:40 or 7:30. So we showed up at 7 to get some drinks and wait for our table. Nobody was in there. Not sure what info OpenTable had but we were seated right away. Not a big deal really. Everything else was really good. The lobster bisque was a little fishy and didn't have as silky of a texture as I would've liked, but it was good enough. Apps were great. Service was great.

   We had a nice dinner. It was a little bit loud in the dining room and sitting next to the door made it very cold. The waitress was very friendly, but it appeared she was the only person waiting on tables in the entire dining room (probably 8 tables), so service was a little slow. Luckily we were ok with that on this date. Food is a little pricey but the wine flights are very nice.

   The meal was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more attentive. It was my wife's birthday and everyone was very sweet and attentive. We had the filet mignon. It was excellent, with just a bit of heat to it. It also came with potatoes and a carrot souffle. Would never tried the carrot on its own, but was pleasantly surprised. It was delicious! Definitely going to make it one of our regular places to visit.

   Our food was very good and there was a nice selection on the menu. Our food unfortunately was given to another table beside us who had I ordered the same two dishes as my husband and I ordered. We waited over 40 minutes to get our food. If you improve your service, we would return. Bathrooms were down in the basement and definitely need to be "refreshed". We liked sitting outside and "people watching" the shoppers at Broadripple.

    Great experience: wonderful cheese plate, wines and dinner. Wait staff was attentive and the atmosphere cozy.
