Cork & Gabel, a restaurant fusion of Irish, Italian, and German cuisine, opened in 2018 in Detroit's Corktown district. We are known for our use of modern techniques on old school classics. European comfort food is a staple at Cork & Gabel. We pride ourselves on being a scratch kitchen, sourcing and using Michigan vendors including farmers and small business. Fresh is key when it comes to providing a great experience and we make everything we can fresh and in house.

We went to Cork & Gabel for my daughter’s graduation brunch, and the entire experience was fantastic! From start to finish, the service was excellent—our waiter Dan truly went above and beyond. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. A big shoutout to the cooks and attendees as well—the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. I would highly recommend Cork & Gabel to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Again, Dan is the man—absolutely outstanding service!

Everything was great, except one entree, which was corned beef, tasted badly like fish. Not sure how they accomplished that.

Server could have been a little bit more attentive. It seemed like he was just trying to get side work done. And I understand cause I’m a server too. So it’s not an issue for me. But yea.

There were 12 of us for brunch, 3 were visiting from Connecticut. Everyone loved their food and half of us took home leftovers. It was great.

Went there for our first time on Easter, everything was so great, we made a reservation for mother's Day on our way home from there that day! And now we're getting ready to make a reservation, for Father's Day. Great environment, awesome food, great value, and great drinks! I've been bragging about this place to so many people!

Went for a Mother’s Day brunch and was not disappointed. The biscuits and gravy were delish and the biscuits tasted homemade. My niece got the ranchero bowl and it had so much flavor! Great seasonal cocktails too. I would definitely go back
