Toasted breads and crackers from The Baker's Table
Very slow. It took 45 minutes from ordering to our meals arriving at our table. It was Brunch!
Four of us went to Cork and Cap for lunch. We sat outside band were the only ones there the entire time. Had a great Bloody Mary and an awesome Crab Dip. Tommy, our bartender/waiter, was wonderful. Made four ladies feel like queens. We will definitely return.
Great service, delicious food & wonderful ambiance.
From start to finish, everything was great. Simple Menu with options for all diets.
Always the best!!! We enjoy the food and the service every time we step foot in this place!
Great service and lunch. Hope to revisit this restaurant upon our return to Lancaster.
Loved the ambiance and food. Great place for friends to share time.
Amazing dinner celebrating our 16th Anniversary
We had an excellent server as well as service. The food was very good. Overall great experience and we will be back.
Drinks were horrible!
Great meal great service!
Waited 20 minutes for a waiter and the place was empty. Service slow. Wife ordered filet med well came out med rare. A place dying for people just blew it. Won't be back again.
Everything was excellent!! We loved the staff and the food. And the staff was gracious enough to accommodate us for a few extra minutes of time with our friends, as we closed the place down. We are grateful you are open. It would be awesome to see the smiles of staff and to see you go back to full capacity. Here's hoping that ALL PA restaurants will reopen at full capacity and with no masks, asap. We will be back soon!
Server was wonderful as was the hostess, food was probably the best we’ve ever had in a restaurant. Celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and the staff was as happy for us and we were! Will definitely be returning.
My husband and I went for our wedding anniversary! They brought us complimentary glasses of champagne unexpectedly! The food was amazing and the decor was warming, welcoming and rustic. The patio was beautiful! I cannot say enough good things!
The food is very good, however, no bread, no salad, nothing but the entrees.
Use to be my favorite place, but not so much anymore.
Wait staff was wonderful!
food took a long time to come out. my daughters eggs were cold. my crab benedict was lukewarm and had no eggs. they offered us a brownie for the issue!
The food was amazing! The service was a little slow and it was WAY too dark. It felt like we were in a cave. Could do with some more lighting.
Food was not good. Like at all. Just looked pretty.
Amazing filet. One of the most interesting buildings anywhere. The renovation of the old cork factory into a fine dining and historic inn is brilliant. The service was first rate.
We had Sunday brunch with family. Food was excellent. Lighting was a little dark but we really enjoyed the food and space.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Delightful atmosphere. Love this place!
First time here and the social distancing was implemented. The food was amazing. The waiter was very attentive. Nice, quiet place for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely return!
A birthday lunch that we all enjoyed. Everything was all we could ask for lunch.
The hostess and server were very gracious. Good cocktails as well
All COVID compliant. Food was excellent. Our server Dylan was very attentive. Very nice experience.
The staff was very accommodating, and the food was amazing from starters to main courses to desserts.
Charming restaurant in nice location.
Ask for specials. Our waitress did not give them and when I heard another waiter tell his table, there was food that I'd have rather have ordered.
That's why we gave her 3 stars. She could have been a bit more friendly too.
Well. I mean the waiter brought our food out to the wrong table, placed it. Went to get another order. And then realized it was wrong. Then just brought it over to us. Which is a little gross in this time of corona.
And also a family brought their 194858 loud and obnoxious children which ruined the vibe.
The food was great though!
My first post covid lock down eat in on 07-03-2020 was a glorious success... cork and cap has one of the tastiest duck dishes in Lancaster... crispy and succulent sweet, tart and sanguine.. delicious executive Manhattan.. excellent service.. screening and social distancing...Returned 07-10-2020 for a reprise to find the prior ordering patron snagged the last duck breast... I was flummoxed... eventually settled on the crab cakes... Three petite tender cakes deliciously browned, all crab laid atop three sweet corn fritters more pancake than corn but non the less tasty.... the salmon ordered by my friend for the second time was prepared accurately to request with piquant sides.. I shall return soon for that elusive quacker... thank you cork and cap
Glorious to return and have the scallops, beet salad and seared duck breast...service excellent
Our first time to dine there, but server was knowledgeable about the food and drink options. He also wore his mask correctly and consistently, covering his nose and mouth.
I had to cancel my reservation due to a family emergency; decided to place an order for pick up instead. I called and scheduled 2 meat loaf entrees at for 7:00 pm. I was advised it would be ready in 1/2 hr. or 7:30 pm. I was greeted by a young man who seemed totally unaware of what to do. He went away and returned with no answers. A second man spoke to me saying my entrees were close to being ready. Eventually the female manager came to the podium/hostess area and advised me the kitchen was swamped due to a wedding rehearsal just before my order. The original man who knew nothing was the bus boy and it was his first night on the job, but he was the person sent to help me. I finally got my 2 entrees at 7:50 pm. The manager claims I called at 7:08pm and I totally disagree. Lesson learned. Ask the exact time your food will be ready, so they can't pull this trick on you. My meat loaf was grilled not baked like previous times. Very disappointed and I will not return.
Staff was great and the food was the best I have had.
I took my wife for her birthday and I can honestly say that after my dinning experience it felt like it was mine. The food was fantastic, with locally sourced southern style cuisine. I was blown away by the atmosphere. Don’t be fooled this is no ordinary hotel restaurant and bar. It’s worth the trip.
Great food and excellent service. Charming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be going back.
Wonderful staff, food, and ambiance. Could be very romantic, or just a very comfortable and unique dining experience.
Wonderful lunch with dear friends. The menu selections were wonderful and the staff friendly
very nice atmosphere and food was delish. we go everytime we are out in PA
