Cork & Cap Restaurant
An amazing venue. Service was quick and friendly. Food was excellent. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to enjoy.
Steak was fabulous!!! So was the service. Great evening for a birthday celebration. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Doni, our server, was great. She was pleasant, funny, and had a great grasp of the items on the menu. We will eat there again on our next trip.
Awesome place .. great food. Awesome waitress . Wish I remembered her name. Great selections
Lovely restaurant. It's a little noisy and a little pricey but worth it. The food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive.
-Had a very down-to-earth, pleasant and helpful waitress
-Great intimate moody lighting with a beautiful atmosphere perfectly displaying the historical building's past
-Food was well portioned and DELICIOUS
-Only complaint is that the pop music playing in the background did not tie in well with the vintage elegant atmosphere
Have been to the restaurant twice for lunch and it’s been good not great food. Maybe I need to try dinner
We love this place. Actually here to eat and I am doing a write up for the Lancaster Physician magazine. Food is excellent and this is the place to go for a relaxing dinner with no rush. Ambience is great. Menu is diverse.
Great place for a special meal “out on the town”
Wed. night prime rib was a hit for my mom!
My burger was perfectly cooked to my liking and served with mac and cheese; a welcome change to french fries!!
Slow service today forgot part of our order but the food we did get was excellent.
Service was excellent by a very pleasant helpful server. Main courses were slow coming , disappointing and not worth the price. Bread was excellent and deserts very good.
It was a great lunch with wonderful service
One of our favorite brunch places. Always excellent!
Our waitress was Casey. She was an amazing young lady and loved being served by her.
An evening out with friends
The food was good and the staff was friendly. Nice atmosphere. I was brought the wrong soup and I didn’t realize it until I had eaten some- it was seafood which I have allergy issues with (didn’t end up being a problem but it could have) Also, it seemed
as though the servers were having too many people to attend to and it was difficult to get their attention. Overall, we enjoyed the evening.
This is my new favorite restaurant! My Family and I loved and enjoyed every second! I cannot wait to come back for Sunday brunch!
Waiter was good! Enjoyed my chicken and my boyfriend enjoyed his meatloaf. Was a great night! Drinks were a little over priced...
Service was terrible. The side room we were in was like a banquet room the atmosphere not good. Other seating areas are great though, just not where we were told to sit. The waitress... we hardly saw and we had to ask for bread. The food was very good though.
Great food and great service. Scallops were great. Cheese board great. Pretzels great. Chicken and waffle soup great. Frank the server great.
Perfect surprise birthday dinner for my husband. Food was incredible, service fantastic & the setting very relaxing.
Loved the decor! Food vas very good, presentation was very nice and our waiter was great! Very nice place to eat in Lancaster!
Amazing as always. Fresh ingredients and great flavor. Their dessert is awesome!
My son was in town from Pittsburgh to celebrate his birthday. I asked him to go online and find a restaurant for brunch. Our waiter, Daniel, took our order and we waited and waited and waited for our meal. He brought us coffee but never came back to ask if we wanted a refill. He never brought our food out to our table. Someone else, assuming a manager and she apologized and said she’ll make it right. Daniel brought our bill out and no adjustments were made. As we left the restaurant Daniel wouldn’t bid us a goodbye or look anyone of us in the eye. Such poor service and OH our food was cold when it came out - 60 minutes after we ordered.
I would say our experience was pleasant. The only thing we encountered that we found inappropriate was that one of your male servers was frustrated with the hostess and chose to air that frustration in front of our party as well as others waiting for a table. We found it tactless and awkward for the hostess.
Overall, our experience was nice and we will be back.
Such a cool restaurant! Excellent food. Easy parking. Will definitely be back.
We purposely planned to eat here because we loved the duck last year. We were not disappointed. Once again the food was fantastic, the staff was great and the ambiance was perfect for our belated Valentine’s Day dinner. We will be back again!
The food was excellent! I got the swordfish and it melted in my mouth. My wife got the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The deserts were very good also. The service was top notch and the whole experience was perfect for my wife’s birthday.
Atmosphere was unique! Our service was not the best. Food was delicious.
My husband and I went for Valentine’s Day! Our waitress was the sweetest waitress we have ever had. The food tasted delicious. We will go back for a special occasion again. The prices were higher but worth it for a nice date night!!
We sat in the bar area and it was extremely noisy. It was 1 pm not happy hour. Would not sit in that area again. Food is always very good and service is excellent but noise level was horrible.
I chose this place to celebrate a friend's birthday, as a small group of us met for brunch. The pictures do not do the space justice. The remodel of the old cork factory is breathtaking, interesting and intimate. We all enjoyed our food, and our server was also tending bar that afternoon. She was great, managing everything and making delicious cocktails. Beautiful place for a great meal.
I always choose Cork & Cap when I want a quiet, comfortable place to meet with friends. The ambiance is the best feature. We were there for brunch this time and the meals were good, but not great. The waffles were a little limp and the scrambled eggs were dry. One guest very much enjoyed the quiche. The service was attentive and the overall experience was good -- we were not rushed at all, and we appreciated that very much.
Excellent table service. Super enthusiastic server.
The best part of the experience was the interior design of the restaurant and the service.
Least favorite parts were the noice level and the vey uncomfortable chair heights at the tables along the wall. Felt like I needed a booster seat.
The duck breast was below par and would not order again. It also was the smallest portion I have ever received when ordering duck breast over many years.
The pasta dish was excellent and was a nice size serving.
Delicious food/lovely employees. We were seated on top of everyone else in the restaurant. Made the noise a bit much at times. Turn up the lights.
Everything was fantastic!
The ambiance is very nice and good for a date night. Waitress was delightful.
My brisket was nothing special, sad to say. Bland and on the dry side. Drink prices were overpriced. Nice, but I feel like we overpaid for what we ordered.
Great evening at Pour - they never disappoint!
We were very happy to find the Cork & Cap and will return for special occasions in the future. The setting is a historic cork factory and it ties back to the times when Lancaster was more of a manufacturing town. Our food was excellent and the menu was broad enough that everyone in my family was able to find a dish they enjoyed. We ordered a couple of drinks and they were higher quality than drinks we've had at similar restaurants. The Cork & Cap sits at a nice price point where the the food is very good without being extremely expensive. It costs just a little more, be we felt like it was a good value. The waiter was great and we liked his style..friendly and helpful but not overbearing. It's definitely a good place to go for a special occasion.
