   Copper Crown is a wonderful, small restaurant with very fresh and creative dishes. I always have good service and excellent food there. The Open Table shows me as a No Show on I/29/2017! This is incorrect. What happened was, the friends I was meeting there also made an Open Table reservation for the group. They got there first, so their reservation got credited. I told the hostess that I had also made a reservation, so to let Open Table know that I did keep my appointment. Something got lost in the translation... Of course I will go back!

   Our waitress did not think we were funny (and we were). Still she served us and left us alone so we could talk. I love the burger here but this time the bun was burned nearly black and because the waitress was annoyed with us I just let it go. I think the place needs more changes of menu since these are the same choices I saw there when it first opened.

   Best meal we've had in years! Copper Crown has incredible plates that beg sharing! Get the BBQ shrimp, crawfish risotto, tilefish, Blackened Catfish, Chicken & waffles, & Brussels Sprouts! It's all incredible!!! Thank you for an amazing meal!

   The small plate portion was definitely enough for a meal when paired with a salad. We sat outside which was nice. The inside seemed a little loud.

   Food was decent but waited 45 min and 2 tables that sat down after us were well into their meals by the time we were served. When I mentioned to waitress Yvette that we'd been waiting nearly an hour, she coldy replied: "it's very busy." I wouldn't come back. Parking lot/strip mall view and Asheville has numerous other options with much better food, ambiance and service.

   The food was outstanding, what you would expect at an upscale restaurant! However, the ambience didn't match the appealing presentation of the food or quality of the meal. That is fine for everyday meals, but if you are looking for a restaurant for a special occasion, you may be disappointed, as we were, with the local diner interior. Having said that we would definitely go back for a great meal, just not on our anniversary again.

   One of our favorite places in Asheville is Curate. We love trying lots of different plates and sharing them. Needless to say, we decided to order from the small plates part of the menu. We ordered 5 of these and were stuffed. The portions were more than generous. the best part though was the quality of the food. The flavors in the seafood risotto burst in your mouth. The beef poutine was fun. The barbecue shrimp were delicious, cooked just right. Not too dry. The pork cheek ravioli was outstanding. The scallops were delectable. We also had an excellent bottle of Malbec for a reasonable cost and a well-made martini. Our whole bill with the drinks was $110. Wow. I would say the food here gives Curate a run for their money at a much more reasonable cost. The inside is nice but nothing fancy, with a pretty bar. There is also a wraparound covered deck outside which looked nice.
